I’ll let Greg Gutfeld get you started here:
Yeah, I’ve got him on my satellite radio but I never and I do mean never stop to listen to any of it. There’s a reason for that…. The very same reason that I don’t drink out of the toilet.
Remember, I did morning radio myself for a number of years. I have never found anything admirable about Howard Stern.
But there’s a larger point to be made here about his behavior and his commentary on covid-19. Specifically, his disappearance for a couple of years there, and his shift from freedom fighter to authoritarian, coincides. That’s a pretty typical situation when someone is isolated for an extended period of time as many Americans were, particularly those who are hiding in their houses. Alas!, that many still are.
Howard Stern turns out to be a fine example… not as a freedom loving american, not as an upright individual, but one who locked himself into his multi-million dollar beach house for a couple of years and as someone who as a result of his self-imposed isolation is now content to let government run his life …along with yours and mine.
The man should have just dried up and blown away when he got canned at the long since defunct 660/WNBC. That was what, around 40 years ago?
I believe it was George Carlin who used to say if you get some idiot to nail two things together that nobody else is nailing together, some schmuck will buy it. I suspect that was the philosophy that XM used when they tossed him a life preserver back in those days, and the only reason we still have to put up with his presence in the business. This was not about talent, it was a matter of filling up satellite channels with something, anything.
These days it’s not talent that keeps him on the air, it’s certainly not that he’s exemplary of anything positive, he’s still there because of momentum. Nothing more.
Glenn Beck and his guest seem to feel that there’s a very solid case for impeaching Joe Biden. I’m convinced they’re right. They do have a solid case. Watch:
Trouble for the moment of course is that the Democrats are still in power and they’re never going to allow such a thing. Come November however, there seems a reasonable chance of it happening
I say you’re reasonable chance and not a wax your chance because there is the leadership of both houses to consider. Will they have the stones to take that action? I wonder.
The Appeals Court that declared the Obama-era DACA program to be illegal also repeatedly referenced to illegal migrants as “illegal aliens.”
For so they are…
In a case reviewing the legality of the “Dreamers” program that President Barack Obama created to let some illegal aliens stay in the United States, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit repeatedly referred to illegal aliens as “illegal aliens.”
The opinion, written by Judge Priscilla Richman, did not refer to them, for example, as the New York Times did in its story about the court’s decision, as “young immigrants,” “immigrants,” and “young undocumented immigrants.”
Well at least somebody recognizes reality. The outcome of the ruling however depends on the next several elections.
From the Beltway Report:
Barr remained steadfast that investigations proved that “widespread election fraud did not happen.” He has made these claims multiple times and continues to make them. Well, it turns out that the investigation into widespread election fraud is what never happened. Bill Barr lied.
Using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), records have been obtained that show the Department of Justice never conducted an investigation into election fraud claims. The Center for Renewing America made FOIA requests to 12 U.S. district attorneys.
Each was from an important battleground state in the 2020 election. Despite a memo from Barr sent on November 9, 2020, insisting that there would be investigations, not a single investigation was carried out. Despite evidence of fraud, no one took a look at anything.
There is evidence in these newly released documents that Barr actually denied requests. The U.S. Attorney from the Eastern District asked to investigate. Bill Barr told him no! Why would he flat out lie about something so critical to our democracy?
Indeed, why?
Back when hurricane Katrina made a visit to the Gulf States the press went well out of its way to point the finger of blame at the Republican then in the White House, and refused the idea that the blame should have rested squarely on the shoulders of the state and local officials, Democrats, one and all.
I suggested at the time that were the situation to be reversed, if there was a Democrat in the White House and Republicans were in state and local positions that the press would spare no expense of effort money or spittle in blaming the Republican state and local officials.

With hurricane Ian, that prediction has proven true… The politicization of Ian from the Democrats and the mainstream media (but I repeat myself) has been nothing short of epic.
Even before the storm made landfall, the press was complaining that Governor DeSantis wasn’t doing his job, even though they couldn’t point it anything specific that he wasn’t doing.
Meantime, the mainstream media has been acting as not an investigative body, but as stenographers for the Democrats. Past the mindless repetition of the rhetoric coming out of the White House both in terms of press conferences and press releases, no mention of any particular action taken by the White House was made throughout this affair.
It strikes me as amusing that nobody seems to remember the Democrats, following Katrina, laying the claim that such disasters lay solely on the shoulders of the federal government, and are now uniformly seeking to protect the Democrat-run federal government from any such accusations.
Apparently, the hope is that we won’t remember the last few hurricanes and the Democrats actions in those instances.
No wonder we see Democrats complaining that they can’t control the narrative anymore.
Joe Biden may very well have wanted to blow up the Nord stream pipelines, but I don’t think he’s got the capability. Moreover I don’t think his team’s got the smarts.
And yeah, Tucker Carlson talks about how Biden was making threats along those lines, and even showed his tape of him doing so. But I’m not buying it. The Democrats talk a good game about this stuff, but they never seem to deliver . I’m suggesting that’s what happened here. That’s particularly true given who’s in the White House at the moment. Let’s face it we’re talking about somebody that can’t string together coherent sentences.
Add to that, the enviro- whacko contingent which seems inexorably attached to the Democrat party. There is no way I can see any of them endorsing the kind of environmental damage caused by the attack on those pipelines.
So, here it is:
I am convinced that Russia blew up its own pipelines.
John Sexton over at Hot Air lays it out this way, and I think correctly:
Russia had already cut off the supply of gas through Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 was never operational. So there was no real change in the amount of gas going through the pipeline (or the revenue it produced) before or after the sabotage.
Gas flow had reached zero and it was going to stay there for at least the duration of the war and likely well beyond that. Germany has finally learned its lesson and was signing agreements with Canada and other nations to replace the gas supply from Russia for the duration.
Putin knew all of this. He had pulled the Nord Stream lever as far as he could to wreak havoc on the German energy market with some success. But once the gas flow hit zero there was nothing more he could do.
Still, why blow up an expensive piece of infrastructure even if it is useless for the foreseeable future? Here many observers point to saber rattling or “signaling,” which you may have noticed is something Russia is doing a lot of lately. By blowing up the pipeline, Russia put Europe on notice that it had other options besides nuclear warfare to raise the stakes. It could in fact, attack vulnerable infrastructure in the region including other pipelines and communications cables.
The pipelines weren’t in use. Understand, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain by blowing up his own Pipeline and then blaming everybody else for his misdeed. It’s clear that his military isn’t the answer to his problems… in fact they are a large part of his problems. So, he had to do something else.
Boom, boom.
I observe this has all the ear marks of a Soviet misinformation operation, and it has been noted elsewhere that Putin still very much thinks like a “new Soviet man”… Which is precisely why he invaded the Ukraine in the first place.
Does this mean that he won’t be hurling nukes at the rest of the world? Well, probably not in the short term, but the real answer lies in how desperate he becomes between now and the end of the Biden administration.
That last point is not just a wise crack. It’s no fluke of timing, no random chance, that Putin waited until Joe Biden was firmly in the White House before making his move on Ukraine. So whatever he’s going to do, he will do before the next Presidential election takes place here in the states.
I’ve noticed that none of the trucks that they are sending into Florida with electrical crews, run on electricity.
Maybe we should be paying attention to that.
Don Surber says:
Dr. Edwin Leap works in ER at WVU Hospitals in Princeton and Bluefield. (Beautiful country, by the way.)
He wrote, “Patient volumes are high. EMS stretchers line up in front of our desks like small, tragic train cars from some war-zone. On them, old men and women slump in exhaustion or cry from broken bones. On others, young addicts struggle against restraints because of their methamphetamine use, or scream because Narcan robbed them of their high; saving their lives causes instant and miserable withdrawal. They park as we try to find rooms in which to put them when all the rooms are full. Treatment in the the hallway, or in the waiting room, is routine. Nurses, short-staffed as always, try their best to keep up with orders from physicians and balance that against very simple needs of patients, like food, clean gowns or trips to the bathroom. Bedpans in the hallway are, obviously, less than optimal.”
It’s called government healthcare. This is exactly the kind of thing I’ve warned about with government takeover of health care, for the last 20-plus years. Hillary care, Obamacare, it doesn’t matter. It all ends up being exactly as Don describes it here.
Mind-splintering stupidity going on.
Before you buy into the claptrap of ” Man made climate change causing hurricanes…. let’s ponder scientific fact:
Since 1851 (171 years) there have been 124 Florida Hurricanes, approximately 1.4/year. In the last 50 years there have been 55 – .5/yr. less than a third as many per year as from 1851 – 1971!
In 1970 there were about 200 million vehicles in the world. In 2022 there are about 1.446 Billion vehicles in the world. 7 times as many vehicles 1/3 the number of hurricanes.
These statistics are all a matter of public record.
So…. Does that mean more fossil fuel burning vehicles equals less hurricanes?
From the Washington Examiner:

And from the comments:
Holy fazoli. If with all of Hollywood, Disney, CNN, MSNBC, the newpapers, NPR, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, NY Times, WaPo, etc. shilling for them and they still can’t dominate the narrative? Might just be the narrative itself.
Well, look. The reason they can’t control the narrative is because they can see for themselves that the emperor hasn’t got any clothes on and all, much less new clothes. And the comment has it exactly correct. The mainstream media has been going to bat for the left for many decades now but there is no way any longer to cover up the failures of the left who have effectively rendered themselves King Midas in reverse.
From Red State:
As Russia threatens to use nukes against the U.S. “if the West attacks Russian territory,” a disturbing story has come out in recent days detailing the recruitment of over a hundred Chinese scientists who had worked at the nuclear research lab at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico to bring whatever they may have learned back to China.
Seems to me a couple of years ago that Donald Trump was telling us that we needed to disconnect ourselves from China. Of course he was labeled as xenophobe and a racist for his trouble. But in the end, like just about everything else, it’s yet another thing that Donald Trump got right and the left got wrong.
Of course, the mainstream media and the Democrat party are silent on these matters these days. Apparently they are hoping nobody will remember.
I’ve been telling you that this would happen, and now the New York Post is confirming it:.. is a site several examples and here’s one:
YouTube podcaster Dave Rubin resigned from his post in 2015 at The Young Turks, a popular left-wing news channel, after his own political awakening. He now dubs himself the “Why I Left the Left Guy.”
In a YouTube video that has garnered more than 15 million views, he made his position clear: “Today’s progressivism has become a faux-moral movement hurling charges of racism, bigotry, xenophobia, homophobia, Islamophobia and a slew of other meaningless buzzwords at anyone they disagree with. The battle of ideas has been replaced by a battle of feelings, and outrage has replaced honesty. Diversity reigns supreme unless it’s that pesky diversity of thought. This isn’t the recipe for a free society, it’s a recipe for authoritarianism.”
So it is, and I dare to suggest you that’s always been the goal.
Does anybody seriously believe that this mass movement isn’t going to be reflected in the vote totals this november? If it isn’t, you’ll know that somebody’s been playing games with the numbers.
Sister Toldjah over at Red State:
As we reported earlier, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) ruffled feathers and caused yet another flare-up within Democratic party ranks when she spoke Monday at the University of Louisville’s McConnell Center and proclaimed that the 60-vote threshold “for the areas in which it has been eliminated already” (judicial nominees) should be “restored.”
Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who along with the university created the center in 1991, praised Sinema in advance of her speech for what he characterized as a rarity on the left these days: being a “genuine moderate and a dealmaker.” Between the praise from McConnell, her remarks on the 60-vote threshold as well as her prediction that control of the House and possibly the Senate was “likely to change” soon, Sinema – who is up for reelection in 2024 – received a scolding from former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, who made sure to take a moment out of his day to remind people that he and Sinema were once an item before declaring she was hopelessly lost from an ideological standpoint:

Sorry but I find it difficult to believe that Sinima bad as she is, would be quite so stupid as to be dating Keith Olberman. Moreover I find it impossible to picture anyone to the left of Keith Olbermann.
As for the reference to Mitch McConnell, this is merely another example of him trying to play to the non-existent center.
And as Sis points out, Olbermann shows us once again in this that he has absolutely no journalistic integrity whatsoever. In this example, he never bothered mentioning that he was dating the woman when he interviewed her for the election she was running for at the time.
Go and read the whole thing
Record prices.
Record crime.
Record illegal immigration.
Record fentanyl use.
And what’s the White House worried about today?
Changing the name of the Atlanta Braves.
* It’s interesting that the people who were just a short time ago telling us that if we left traditional American values behind, we would be ruled by rationality, are the same people who swear up and down that there are 372 sexes and that men can get pregnant. Just who is it that’s being brainwashed?

* It’s become blatantly obvious these last few months, and frankly years if we are honest, that the Democrats and their single-minded devotion to eliminating Trump and for that matter anyone who supports the idea of America first, is doing nothing but strengthening him. Obvious, that is to everyone but the Democrats so dedicated. That would include Liz Cheney who clearly still isn’t getting the message. Kari Lake is now officially a shoo- in, now that Liz Cheney is campaigning against her.
And by the way we’re still waiting for that j6 committee to tell us the truth about Ray Epps. How about it Liz?
* I very loudly, several years ago, proclaimed Glenn Greenwald the least honest blogger in the ‘sphere. I’m glad to see he’s finally woken up.

* Meanwhile even the Democrats don’t want Joe Biden to run again. Question of course is who will the Democrats run and will they be even worse? As an example:

*

And guess which one of these choices is reinforced by the mainstream media and big tech…
* It appears the Italians know what’s going on, and have voted accordingly. The American press is losing their bleeping minds over it.
* I’ll bet you’ve never heard of Xylaxine. No fault to you, I suppose since most people haven’t, and the mainstream news media here in the US certainly isn’t covering it. .. though I do know it was interest that the British press is covering it:
“The drug prolongs the highs felt from heroin, but results in users passing out for hours at a time, while injection points ulcerate and lead to grisly wounds that spread across the body. Some users even report severe sores erupting across their body where they never injected the drug, and many are left disfigured as fingers, arms, feet, legs and toes are forced to be amputated. In Philadelphia – considered to be ground zero for the Xylazine crisis – about one-third of all fatal opioid overdoses in 2019 were related to the drug
Well at least it wasn’t hydrochloroquine, eh? Killing people off in grizzly fashion, apparently doesn’t make news. But, let somebody propose that an already on the shelf drug be used to fight the Wuhan flu, and it’s all over the news and in the mouths of every Democrat politician between here and China. Let that sink in just a little.
