WHY OF COURSE SHE DID: Whoopi Issues Pseudo Apology After Holocaust Remarks.
Well, first of all, we don’t have one. We have a representative Republic and there’s a major difference between the two.
Past that, Carlson makes a couple of good points here:
Notice again where he suggests that there is a major gap between what our supposed leadership is concerned about and what the American voter is concerned about. By that measure, the state of our democracy is in horrendous shape. But you don’t ever hear the left saying that… And in this I include the government both here in the US and in Canada.
What you will hear them saying closely resembles the graphic below:

You see, at the end of the day it’s not democracy they’re concerned about, it’s merely maintenance of leftist power. They won’t tell you that of course, but I will.
Sarah Hoyt over at instapundit:
I tell her:
I have maintained for years that 99% of what gets passed off as racial issues, are actually cultural issues. Frankly, this is no different. If Whoopi Goldberg is wrong how do you explain her own history? How do you explain Sammy Davis Jr as an example?
For that matter, let’s look at the relationship between race and culture.
And I point to Walter Williams, Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, Candice Owens, David Webb, and literally millions of other people of color who have rejected the so-called Black Street culture and are there by wildly successful..
And how are they treated by the people in that black Street culture? You know the answer to that question.
It pains me a little to see Whoopi Goldberg getting chastised for this one so loudly when as far as I can see it’s as close to being right as she’s been in a long time.
I saw it mentioned the other day that the story of Adolf Hitler is the story of a failed liberal arts student who constructed his political ideals around people he deemed were privileged. A little ironic, isn’t it? That’s the same thing that we’re dealing with from the left just now and for many years.
It’s culture, not race. Or if you like, we can put it more precisely and say it’s the culture that’s attached to each race that is the issue
Glen Reynolds notes this morning;
EVERYTHING IS GOING SWIMMINGLY (CONT’D): Politico: Sure looks like Biden botched FDA pick — thanks to the Left.
And then he quotes the following:
More than a year after taking office in a pandemic, Joe Biden still hasn’t gotten his pick to lead the Food and Drug Administration confirmed. What’s more, Politico reports, it doesn’t look like the White House is doing much about it. Robert Califf’s limbo has less to do with Republican intransigence and more to do with Biden’s progressive allies. . . .
What in the world does Politico’s team mean by GOP support being a “first public sign of trouble”? Republicans don’t have too many reasons to pull Biden’s chestnuts out of the fire, but they’re not the reason Califf can’t get confirmed. Technically, Democrats don’t need any Republican votes to confirm a nominee as long as Vice President Kamala Harris is in town to cast a tie-breaking vote.
Having four Republicans support a Biden nominee in committee isn’t a “public sign of trouble” — it’s a green light, especially for someone who served in the same position in the Barack Obama administration. The real trouble is coming from the Left, and for the reasons you’d imagine, but you have to scroll down a bit from Republicans pouncing® to learn it. . . .
The key question here isn’t Republican pouncing® or progressives’ ongoing hysteria over the corporations, man. It’s that the White House apparently didn’t care what happened to Califf after nominating him in mid-November, almost ten months after Biden took office in the middle of a pandemic. Califf had to have been on Biden’s Rolodex almost from the beginning, so why did it take so long to nominate him to run the one agency in charge of all the vaccines and therapeutics necessary to deal with the COVID-19 scourge? Or anyone, for that matter? This should have been one of the first appointments Biden made outside of Cabinet officials.
Guys, it’s really not hard to imagine why this is happening. The Democrats including the White House are doing their deer in the headlights number. They seriously don’t know what to do about governmental intrusion into medicine which ultimately resulted in covid-19 being created in a lab in China paid for by United States taxpayer dollars.
This brings up one of two concerns… Anybody they nominate is going to get the blame for unintentional governmental missteps, or be indicted for intentional criminality, such as the authorization of gain of function research.
All this goes to what I’ve been saying for years, it’s well past time for the government to get out of the healthcare business entirely.
Let’s be perfectly clear on this right at the off:
Neil Young is an idiot, a narcissist, and in the end, a fascist.
That’s right, I said it.
I pointed out sometime ago that everything the left doesn’t like is Hitler. I even provided photographic evidence. The problem of course is that exactly the reverse is true.
John Nolte, over at Breitbart, comes up with an interesting piece on the subject today;
Why would an anti-establishment hippie like Neil Young suddenly turn fascist and want to blacklist Joe Rogan to protect the establishment from criticism?
Why did Sean Penn embrace a left-wing Nazi like Hugo Chavez?
Why is left-wing Hollywood sucking up to China’s Nazis?
Why does a 60s icon like Cher call for the imprisonment of those she disagrees with?
Why does a free spirit like Bette Midler demand all women stop having sex with men?
Why does a Whoopi Goldberg rhetorically lynch an innocent man?
Why does television’s most famous anti-establishment liberal now protect the establishment by accusing those he disagrees with of “sedition?”
Neil Young is behaving like Joe McCarthy.
Meathead is behaving like Richard Nixon.
Whoopi is behaving like the Klan.
Bette is behaving like the Church lady.
Hollywood is behaving like Vichy France.
What’s going on?
How is this possible?
After all, for most of our lives, we’ve recognized the artists and artistic establishment that emerged from the sixties and seventies as free speech warriors, as classical liberals, as envelope pushers, as the very “heroes” who put an end to McCarthyism, the prudish Moral Majority, the Production Code, and old-fashioned censorship.
But look at them now! They’re the ones calling for blacklists, censorship, prudery, and political arrests!
I would add YouTube to this list given what happened to Dan Bongino, who is hardly alone in being silenced by that platform.
I would add Facebook to the list, and Twitter, as well.
The Breitbart piece goes on to describe the people listed here as narcissist, and certainly, they are all that. Nolte correctly points out that the list of people above and many others never really did believe in free speech although they were waving that flag to draw attention to themselves. The moment anybody dared disagree with them, the dedication to free speech went out the window.

And oh by the way, as Nick Sandman demonstrated clearly, speech wasn’t even necessary.
They went from supposedly supporting free speech to shutting down any and all opposition speech so quickly that anyone watching closely would be suffering from whiplash about now.
At least, among those who didn’t identify the fascism that they represent from the go.

Since this one’s in the news right now, let’s take for example Neil Young. He decided to threaten Spotify that if they didn’t take Joe Rogan off the service he would take all of his songs off the service.
Spotify, was apparently having none of it, correctly said “wish granted”, and pulled all his material off the service proactively and preemptively. Bye-bye, Neil.
Obviously Young’s threats were not quite the lever that he thought they would be. I think it’s safe to conclude the man has an overly inflated opinion of himself.
Personally, I can take his music or leave it. I can only think of about three maybe four tunes that were serious hit material that he penned, two of which took other people recording them to get them recognized at all. And keep in mind I was making my living as a DJ through that period.
In all honesty, I haven’t spent much time listening to Joe Rogan, but if Neil Young hates him that much, I probably should be listening.
In his defense it should be noted that Neil Young has taken wookism to the next level… Being so woke, that he canceled himself.
In truth what we’re seeing with Neil Young, is pretty much what we’ve been seeing with the left for several years now.
They are the real fascists.
As a follow-on to my post of yesterday regarding project veritas and their findings as regards covid-19 and its origins.
This stuff is now coming out very quickly. Absolutely none of it refutes anything that I said about this at the outset 2 years ago and since.
The question is, when will a serious investigation be done, and will the people responsible face the consequences of their actions? Or, as I suspect, will the government waive its magic wand and make it all go away?
So from Red State, comes the story that the mainstream media won’t touch. Gee, I can’t imagine why.
As we previously reported, on Monday night Project Veritas released a new report announcing that they’d obtained US military documents proving that Dr. Anthony Fauci had lied to Congress and, more specifically, “never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.”
Just about anybody with at least a double digit IQ has understood this from the beginning, Anthony Fauci lied and people died.
And here is the text from the document itself, about as damning a document as you will ever find on the subject and enough to put a fair number of people in jail which is precisely what should happen.
SARS-CoV-2 is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus. It was created by an EcoHealth Alliance program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as suggested by the reporting surrounding the lab leak hypothesis. The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began. These details can be found in the EcoHealth Alliance proposal response to the DARPA PREEMPT program Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HR00118S0017, dated March 2018 – a document not yet publicly disclosed.
The contents of the proposed program are extremely detailed. Peter Daszak lays out step-by-step what the organization intends to do by phase and by location. The primary scientists involved, their roles, and their institutions are indicated. The funding plan for the WIV work is its own document. The reasons why nonpharmaceutical interventions like masks and medical countermeasures like the mRNA vaccines do not work well can be extrapolated from the details. The reasons why the early treatment protocols work as curatives are apparent.
SARS-CoV-2’s form as it emerged is likely as a precursor, deliberately virulent, humanized recombinant SARSr-CoV that was to be reverse engineered into a live attenuated SARSr-CoV bat vaccine. Its nature can be determined from analysis of its genome with the context provided by the EcoHealth Alliance proposal. Joining this analysis with US intelligence collections on Wuhan will aid this determination.
So again comes the question that I asked a couple of months ago, in essence, what in the blink was the United States government doing, doing biological weapons research and paying the Communist Chinese to do it? Whose good idea was this? And just as importantly, why?
Notice also, please, where it says that they knew from the outset that masks don’t work.
There is one thing I will guarantee you about all of this: Anthony Fauci did not do this on his own.
Actually, there is a reason and it’s a very good one. Namely, we promised the Ukrainians that we would have their back. And remember, the very same people who are just a short while ago calling Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan precisely that, mostly because we’ve reneged out a promise to the Afghan people that we had their back, are the ones who are now telling us we should do precisely the same thing to the Ukrainians.
Why is keeping our promises important? Because it is in our strategic interest to do so.
Even if… Even if… the claim that keeping Russia out of the Ukraine isn’t of itself a strategic interest for the United States, I would argue that keeping our promises is, if we ever expect other nations to act based on our promises to them. We damage the level of trust other nations have in US when we don’t keep our promises.
It’s easy enough to conclude with this administration’s recent actions that a trusted America is not on the roadmap for Biden, under whom that strategic interest, that trust, has already suffered. We already have leaders around the world who are saying, and with some justification, that the United States foreign policy cannot be trusted that its leaders are fickle and often as not, cowardly.
And yes, of course there are a number of drawbacks to entering into an open conflict with Moscow.
I don’t deny that there are a large number of rather hawkish voices coming from the defense industry. It’s easy enough to assume that their motivations there are keeping their companies profitability up. But those voices are going to be constantly present anyway. And frankly I discount the majority of them out of hand for that reason.
I’m as uncomfortable as any Birkenstock wearing tree hugger about that situation. That said, however, those concerns pale in comparison to losing the trust of the rest of the world even further than we already have under the feckless leadership we now have.
And that leadership raises another point. Responding with Force to Vladimir Putin’s aggression in the Ukraine would certainly benefit Biden and his administration by distracting attention from the absolute domestic disaster that has administration has shown itself to be. It also does a fair job of distracting attention from the facts surrounding the millions of dollars that Biden is family and the clintons among others have removed from Ukraine. I certainly agree that we shouldn’t give Biden that opportunity.
With all that said however, I’m going to point out to you that the choices before us are not quite as binary as some would make it. This is not a situation between starting a war with Russia or letting him walk all over the Ukraine.
You see, at this point I have extreme doubts that Putin is going to move on Ukraine. Why I think that way is rather straightforward.
First of all I don’t think he’s that stupid. Perhaps more importantly a couple of wise old sayings come to mind.
* The sword of Damocles is only useful until it falls.
* Rattling a saber makes noise, drawing it does not.
If Putin we’re going to make a move on Ukraine he’d have done it quite a while ago. But he won’t do that. He’s hoping and working toward gaining concessions at the negotiating table and he’s holding out a chair for Joe Biden and company to sit down at the table.
Putin knows Biden is perceived as a weak leader and Biden knows it as well. Putin also understands that in reality Biden is no friend of the Ukraine, for the reasons I’ve already mentioned.
All Putin has to do is provide a means by which Biden appears to be some kind of able negotiator. To accomplish that, Putin has to alter his negotiating strategy to allow Biden to save some face and look like he was some kind of able negotiator to get some of the concessions that he wants. Putin is an old hand at this stuff he knows how the game gets played and he plays it well.
They also do absolutely nothing as regards your spreading the virus. In fact, the data now shows that those who are fully vaccinated are in fact more likely to contract the omicron variety than are the unvaccinated.
So one of the questions before us now, runs along these lines:
How many times do the so-called experts need to be proven completely wrong before they are no longer considered experts, and whose information is no longer trusted? Let’s face it, if they weren’t working for the government they’d have been laughed out of the room two years ago.
We have had our lives our society and our culture, completely altered and uprooted by this nonsense, (for nonsense it is) and the data now shows that clearly.
Consider a comparison. Let’s say that somebody wanted to borrow your car for 15 days but two years later you still don’t have it back. In that situation I suggest to you that your long past the point in time where you should consider that your car has been stolen and the person that you loaned it to isn’t trustworthy.
That’s the situation we’re in right now.
As for trustworthiness, let’s look very closely at the heavily redacted list of investments made by Dr Anthony Fauci. And by the way, since the IRS is giving us all an annual anal exam every April 15th, let’s use that government data to find out just where his money’s been coming from, shall we? Let’s get rid of the redactions and find out precisely what’s going on here. I think we’ll find out that all of this has more to do with Anthony Fauci’s bottom line then it does healthcare.
Underlying all this is a suspicion that I’ve had since the outset…

It would be simple enough to label the actions of those surrounding the CDC as incompetent. Thing is the evidence we have seen over the last two years, would seem to suggest that it goes well beyond mere incompetence, and rises to a lust for power and sheer greed.
I’ve been telling readers of this page for years that when government runs healthcare, every healthcare decision becomes a political one. There’s only one problem with that assertion… It ignores the avarice a goodly number of people succumb to, when they’re handed the power of government.
And again, I remind you of Anthony Fauci on CNN telling the world that Donald Trump was going to be facing a pandemic less than 2 days after Donald Trump was elected. Now, how on Earth what do you have known that? Without a serious explanation of that it’s easy enough to consider the timing of the release of this virus suspect.
And for that matter, whose good idea was it to trust the Communist Chinese and in fact pay them for doing what amounts to biological weapons research? Who was it who signed off on that research?
It seems clear that as a direct result of that “research”, which it is now beyond question got away from the supposed experts, …and was possibly released intentionally…. we are now in a situation where the supposed experts haven’t a bloody clue as to what to do about it.
These are all questions that very very few people have been asking, and I suggest to you that this in-house arrest that the entire nation has been under, isn’t going to end until such time as we all start asking, and demanding answers.
As I have suggested previously, the answers to these questions may very well result in a couple of million counts of involuntary med slaughter to say nothing of the civil suits against the supposed experts.
I’ve been suggesting for some time now that to get the kind of approval ratings that Joe Biden has been getting, the only way the numbers could go that low would be a large number of Democrats rejecting the radicalism we’ve seen from the Democrat elite.
Confirmation comes by way of Ed Morrissey at Hot Air
Joe Biden may not be alone in a confidence-crisis cascade. Gallup’s latest polling on congressional approval finds it declining, which may have all the newsy value of reporting on the wetness of water. But the origin of this decline demonstrates the damage the party has done to itself after several months of internecine warfare over its extreme-left turn:
Democrats’ approval of Congress rose 50 points between December 2020 and February 2021 when it peaked at 61%. This spanned a period when Congress went from divided control (with Democrats in the majority in the House and Republicans in the Senate) to full Democratic control. Democrats’ approval remained high after the American Rescue Plan coronavirus relief law was passed in March.
However, by June, when Congress failed to pass President Joe Biden’s infrastructure package by his Memorial Day deadline, Democrats’ rating of the body fell below the majority level. After a brief rally above 50% in August and September, Democrats’ approval of Congress fell as infighting among Democratic legislators held up passage of Biden’s climate change and social spending bill. With Biden’s legislative agenda still stalled, Democrats’ latest 26% approval of the legislative branch is the lowest it has been in a year.
Frankly, the indications are that the problem that the Democrat rank and file is having with the president and the Congress is not that they didn’t manage to pass the far left leaning agenda, but what it is they tried to pass.
I’ll say this again; the rank and file of both parties is far more conservative then what either party has managed to puke up in the last 50 years, with the notable exceptions of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.
That disconnect is going to cost the Democratic party dearly in the next couple of cycles, and thus do we see Joe Biden in his press conference the other day already making excuses for the bloodbath that the Democrats are going to take, claiming that the election will not be fair.

“It is disturbing to see that Pfizer evidently has the Biden FBI at its beck and call to target journalists at Project Veritas,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This development is especially concerning coming on the heels of the FBI’s outrageous Ashley Biden diary raid on the home of Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe.”

Last week saw another batch of emails drop from Anthony Fauci, and another media blackout as to their contents. The strategy by the press in cases like this has been pretty straightforward: ignore the story, wait for right-leaning media or Republicans to pick it up, then frame any attacks on the subject as tainted by partisanship.
Last week, when confronted once again by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, Fauci responded with more hyperbole and ad hominem. The media, meanwhile, framed the exchanges as “Rand Paul Attacks!” and “Anthony Fauci defends!”
They refused to look at the information in the emails that Paul was asking about, refused to ask questions about them, refused to even report on them. They are interested in the bloodsport, not the truth. The reason for that is simple: the truth is becoming very problematic for the man who once conflated himself with science itself. The only reporting done on the emails by the New York Times, for instance, was a video clip from the Associated Press regarding the exchange with Senator Paul.
What has not been covered with any sort of journalistic enthusiasm is the topic of the emails themselves, the most damning yet, which suggest that Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins, the former head of the NIH, purposefully downplayed the possibility of a lab leak in Wuhan, China, at the start of the pandemic because it might have damaged “international harmony” in the scientific community.
I want you to go and read the entire article, but I’d like you to particularly to pay attention to this:
The problem for the mainstream media now is that too much of a paper trail has been left by Collins, Fauci and others to simply push the narrative that Republicans are weaponizing Fauci’s emails.
The problem for Fauci and his media allies is that the truth is going to come out eventually, with or without their cooperation, transparency, and intellectual curiosity. There is no Donald Trump to suck the oxygen out of the news cycle anymore. At this point, it all looks like malpractice, both by the mainstream media in ignoring Anthony Fauci’s emails and by Fauci himself.
Truth be told, it’s looking far worse than simple malpractice.
A lot of questions in that area would be answered were we to look at an unredacted list of his investments. There’s a number of people that are making millions off of the fear and confusion that this guy spread.
But it’s even worse than that… The truth of the matter is it’s looking increasingly like my original call on this was absolutely correct, then it was Anthony fauci who authorized the illegal gain of function research, causing the death of millions of people, to say nothing of the suffering by even those who survived.
At the very least of Justice is to be served here we’re talking about a couple of million counts of involuntary manslaughter against these people.
I’ve been saying for quite a while now that it’s time for the FBI to be ended. Here’s yet another reason among many…
That’s a rather potent question, what else have they been lying about. They’ve been something of a Target Rich environment lately
