So who will the Republicans run for his seat?
Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks has been mentioned as a possible contender. She lives in the district, has name recognition, and is a proven fundraiser.
I say, go for it Maggie.
Brooks easily won re-election as Monroe County Executive, with no major party opposition. Maggie can easily become the republican version of Louise Slaughter(NY — 28), a democat in a republican leaning district.
