The day in 1945 there are only three occasions when the president failed to go to the deed a monument that honors the soldiers killed during that action.
Those three times were:
In 2010 , and that was Barack Obama.
In 2011 and that was Barack Obama, too.
In 2012 and that was also Barack Obama.
For nearly 70 years every president except Obama has paid tribute to the fallen soldiers killed on the day not Barry. This year he took the occasion to make a campaign trip on air force one to California to raise funds for the upcoming reelection effort. Oh… he also managed to get in a round or two of Golf.
