In mid-2016, the FBI got word that Russian intelligence believed Hillary Clinton’s campaign was planning to frame Donald Trump as colluding with Russia’s Vladimir Putin to hack her computers. Yet somehow, the crack agents never connected the dots when handed the Steele “dossier” commissioned and paid for by the Clinton campaign that claimed Trump was colluding with Putin.
Instead, the Justice Department used that dossier as a pretext to spy on at least Trump aide Carter Page as it investigated the clearly spurious charges. Justice also distorted the facts about Page’s past relations with the CIA to suggest he had a history of working with Russian agents when his actual record involved turning them in. Meanwhile, it buried the fact that Steele’s main source was himself a suspected Russian agent.

From Justice to the CIA, the Obama administration politicized a host of nonpartisan institutions to stain the Trump campaign and then sabotage the Trump administration. And, with selective leaks to major media, the plotters managed to convince much of the country.
I believe it was Mark Twain who wants observed that it’s easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they’re being fooled. What’s alarming is that our country’s future is entirely dependent on the ability of the Trump team to convince them they have been fooled.
Adam Schiff(D – CA), Chair of the House Intelligence Committee has been blaming the Russians for four years, claiming to have evidence, but never producing. Over the weekend Schiff out on his leash again. This time blaming e the Russians. Noted conservative lawyer and pundit Johnathan Turley called the Schiff-less one out:
Recently, we discussed how House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff stated publicly that the recently disclosed laptop information from Hunter Biden was clearly part of a Russian intelligence operation. Schiff said that “we know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.” This morning, John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence, stated categorically that Hunter Biden’s laptop was not part of a Russian disinformation campaign. What is most notable is that Ratcliffe has stated that Schiff and his Committee were given that conclusion by the intelligence community. The incident has raised lingering criticism of Schiff who previously told the public that he had clear evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia after that allegation was rejected in repeated investigations, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Schiff never produced the incriminating evidence and later it was shown that the widely cited Steele dossier was based on a source who was considered to be a Russian agent.
The rules have changed Adam. The Director of National Intelligence is no longer taking marching orders from the democrats in Congress. If your the Russians did it, yet again fairy tale is true, then DNI Ratcliff is lying. So hold some hearing or just shut up.

# I’m seeing bedding pools being established, betting on how long it takes Joe Biden to get his kid into the best rehab that Russian money can buy.
# The move by Facebook and Twitter to limit access to the New York Post story about Biden’s laptop it’s probably the worst mistake the Democrat wishful have ever made . Instead of keeping the story from developing it’s been the new cycle for the last week and a half and probably will continue so well after the November elections. The real story of course is the criminal arrogance of Democrats.

The business partner of Hunter Biden who flipped on the Biden family from prison provided access to 26,000 emails, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said in a Saturday morning radio appearance.
Schweizer, appearing on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel, said that former Hunter Biden business partner Bevan Cooney provided 26,000 emails to him—the first of which were published late last week in a Breitbart News exclusive investigation by Schweizer and author Seamus Bruner. Cooney is currently serving a sentence in federal prison due to his conviction over financial deals he made connected to Hunter Biden and his other partner Devon Archer. Archer, who was also convicted by a jury in federal court, saw his conviction vacated by a federal judge. That conviction was later—just a couple weeks ago—reinstated by an appellate court, which overruled the lower court judge’s decision to vacate it. Archer awaits sentencing.
In the meantime, however, Cooney—who is serving his sentence in federal prison—reached out to Schweizer via conservative journalist Matthew Tyrmand and provided written authorization to access his Gmail account. He provided the password and username, and written authorization to publish emails because Schweizer says he believes he was the “fall guy” for the Biden family’s corruption and that he believes the public needs to know what really happened in Hunter Biden’s universe. The first article on these emails was published Friday afternoon, and detailed how Hunter Biden and his partners secured meetings with senior White House officials in November 2011 for Chinese Communist elites—including, as the Chinese elites who were present revealed, a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden himself. The Biden campaign has not responded to requests for comment about this from Breitbart News.
Hmmm. Well, I can’t imagine why….
As I said over the weekend, as hard as it would have been four years ago to imagine my saying this, it’s beginning to appear that the Biden clan is more corrupt than the Clintons.
I’ve begun to wonder if this is why Biden has been acting like his brain isn’t all there. Can this be for the purpose of keeping his buns out of jail?
Can this be why the Democrat party leadership was making such loud noises a while ago about replacing Biden with somebody else? And for that matter, will those noises resurface in the next couple of weeks?
Can this be why the Obama crowd hasn’t exactly been going to the wall for Joe Biden? They knew the degree of corruption involved, and were concerned that such backing would blow up in their faces?
And let’s just for the sake of argument, say that happens… to the point where they actually pull Joe Biden from the race. Who do the Democrats replace him with? Kamala Harris seems the obvious answer, but we know the disaster that would be for the Democrats and for the country for that matter.
Remember that the task of the vice president is to make the president look good. With Obama as President, Joe Biden was uniquely qualified for that job. Bad as Joe Biden is, they needed somebody even worse for the vice presidential candidate for this ticket. Can you possibly imagine what the ticket would look like and what the country would be going through with Kamala Harris in the White House? Good Lord , better to not imagine it.
Meantime, Twitter and Facebook have several dozen eggs on their faces.. I’ll get into that in another post.
The one thing that seems to be coming out of these emails, including the ones on Hunter Biden’s laptop is that Joe Biden knew about all this. And the thing is, there has been no denial that these notes are genuine… That the evidence is accurate.

It will be interesting to see over the next week or two what happens to Joe Biden’s numbers in the polling data. Not that I trust the pollsters any more than I trust Joe Biden himself, but there’s got to be some kind of reaction.
Anybody with a passing knowledge of United States history c should know the name Joe McCarthy. His cause of rooting out of communists embedded in the government. Background, in January the Nancy Pelosi democrats passed impeachment charges against the President, without evidence or charges of any crimes. While part of the federal government was trying to remove our duly elected president, another part, the Department of Justice, had evidence to the Biden family criminal cabal. Was Speaker Shampoo impeachments designed to remove the current president, or to protect the former vice president?

Intrablog squabble, I agree with Eric that both the Clinton Clan and the Biden Clan engaged in long term criminal conspiracy, at least the Clinton Clan managed to hire competent attorneys. Meanwhile back in the Wilmington basement, Joe Biden brags about buying off the government of Ukraine no television, and used a drug addict as his bag man. Team Slow Joe, both calls hard drive story false, citing no specific reason, and yets sends a lawyer to the computer repair shop to reclaim the false computer. Think what you will of Slow Joe, just don’t think of him as smart.

I’ve held off for quite a while I’m saying anything at all about the passing of Eddie Van Halen.
Guitar genius? Certainly.
Although, I will quietly suggest the guitar geniuses are not something we’re exactly short of. There’s one in just about every band in the country, including many you’ve never heard of. I know of a number of them and I’m still conversing with a few of them.
Worthwhile music? Without question.
That said, I will forever be a little annoyed with him about the treatment of those around him. For examples consider David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar,and consider Valerie Bertinelli. In registering that annoyance I will make a couple of allowances here…first of all I’m not totally privy to all the situations that developed between those people, and I will also admit to having had a bit of a teenage crush on Valerie back in the day. Oh, bloody hell, what kid didn’t?
Val’s statement regarding Van Halen’s death made it fairly clear to me that she did not want them to be separated. It’s my sense that that’s the larger of the tragedies here.
Finally I will also say that Van Halen’s playing, while excellent, was not the sole reason for the success of the band.
Listen closely to the recorded works and you will find that there is a consistency of sound there all of which to my ear is added post production. Tightly controlled, compressed and limited, with every single cycle of audio examined manipulated and finally mixed. Extraordinarily bright, extraordinarily and consciously designed for FM radio.
Technically speaking the recordings are dense in terms of overall level but they are also spectrally dense. The audio was not just run through a single stage compressor limiter as for example The Beatles recordings were, we’re probably talking about multi band processing. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, imagine a system with a compressor limiter on each band in your graphic equalizer. The result is Phil spector’s wall of sound on steroids.
The end result of Eddie’s playing plus all of that technology is a leap out of the dashboard sound that was difficult if not impossible to match. The influence of the technical side of Van Halen’s recordings has reached other bands as well. I think I’d be correct in mentioning Def Leppard as one such at least their last four or five albums.
Was his playing really that much better than everybody else? I’ll leave that for the musicians to decide. But I will quietly suggest that absent the production values that I speak of here, the man wouldn’t have had his chance to shine… Because nobody would have been paying attention.
