Noticed this circulating on Facebook.

It’s worth repeating here.

As of yesterday, the Walkaway Campaign on Facebook passed 500,000 members. That is on Facebook alone! that does not include those on youtube, twitter, etc and those that are still the silent majority. I pray that more will come out and Walkaway by Election Day. What is the best thing about the Walkaway campaign? While there are a few people that will openly disagree with one’s life choices. 99% of us on there openly welcome all walks of life to our side. And many of them are shocked that they are so openly welcomed to a side they always thought hated them. Funny how that works?

Yesterday culminated with the swearing-in of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

She was sworn in by Justice Clarence Thomas, the justice that Democrat Joe Biden tried desperately to destroy. (Should we remind you that the claims against Justice Thomas were exposed as more lies from the Democrats?)

She was sworn in on Hillary Clinton’s birthday.

If you believe in karma there is much to back the idea in yesterday’s happenings.

The Democrats of course are responding with more empty threats. Disregard them… Both the Democrats and the threats. They seem to forget that FDR packing the court didn’t work out all that well. They are now desperate because they recognize that the court will now adhere strictly to the intent of the Constitution…and they recognize that the constitution itself is the biggest roadblock to Democrat party power.

There’s a lot going on that you’re not being told, says Byron York:

“I can’t believe there aren’t any newspeople here,” said Linda of Greene County, Pennsylvania, as she stood among hundreds of cars and pickup trucks idling in long parallel lines in a vast big-box-store parking lot Saturday, waiting to join the Interstate 70 Trump Train. Indeed, although there were carloads of Trump supporters as far as one could see, and many more on the way from Ohio and West Virginia, and this enormous political event was happening less than two weeks before the presidential election, as far as I could tell, I was the only newsperson there.

It was the biggest political rally no one saw. And gatherings like it have been happening for months in some of the places President Trump needs most to win if he is to be reelected. And, remarkably, the rallies are not the work of the Trump campaign.

The road rally in Washington, Pennsylvania, was organized and staged by local Trump supporters, linked together largely by Facebook, who want to show that enthusiasm for the president in western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas is not just strong but stronger than it was when Trump eked out a victory in Pennsylvania in 2016. If Trump wins this critical state, it will owe in significant part to this organic movement and the energetic organizers who have nothing to do with his campaign.
Saturday’s rally started in St. Clairsville, Ohio, in the parking lot of a store called Oil & Gas Safety Supply. After hundreds of cars, probably the majority were pickup trucks, lined up there, they became a rolling rally headed east on I-70 to Wheeling, West Virginia, about 12 miles away. There, hundreds more cars were waiting to join, and the much bigger rally returned to the freeway for the 30-mile drive to Washington. That’s where Linda and several hundred more people were waiting in the parking lot of the other branch of Oil & Gas Safety Supply. The cars from Ohio and West Virginia exited off the interstate, rolled past the Home Depot, then past Oil & Gas, and then, when the last car had passed, the Washington cars joined it, making one massive line of vehicles heading back to St. Clairsville.

It’s important for us to recognize that there is nothing of the sort happening in the Democrats camp these days. No truly organic support.

The most recent example of that lack, is the rally that’s Obama tried putting together for Joe Biden the other day. The video of that event shows it was a complete flop, even by the low support standards that Biden has set these past few months. In fact, there were more news people at the Obama event than there were grassroots supporters.

Ok the same person who claimed to have been a professor of constitutional laws, but knows less about the actual constitution than a chump, one Slow Joe, b/k/a Joseph Biden(moron – DE) is running for President of the United States, with no apparent qualifications, from Fox News:

“I’m running as a proud Democrat, but I will govern as an American president,” he said. “I’ll work as hard for those who don’t support me as those who do, including those chumps with the microphone out there. Look, that’s the job of the president. The duty to care for everyone. The duty to heal.”

Get a load of the last bit “The Duty to Heal” maybe the only theme of Slow Joe’s campaign he did not plagiarize. I have two problems with Joe’s imagined duty. One it is no where mentioned in the non-Slow Joe version of the Constitution and two Joe is totally unqualified to heal anybody.

Joe is a person who should seek to be a healer. Rather one who is need of a healer. Joe’s first wife, I assume in an accident, killed herself. She ran a stop signal and got totally by a truck. Since then Joe has been blaming the truck driver for his wife’s death. Joe’s two children have been in rehab, and are in need of it. Hunter is a drug abuser, and his daughter has been in sexual rehab. Slow Joe has been molesting female children for years in public. Did this habit extent to his own children in private?

Anger management, or lack thereof, Joe simply can not stand being challenged. He called one potential backer a “Dog faced pony soldier.” I believe my father would have taken dog face as a compliment, not that I believe it used as such. In recent rally Slow Joe called Pennsylvania voters, chumps. Well I guess it is least a step up from deplorable.

One crisp winter morning in Sweden, a cute little girl named Greta woke up to a perfect world, one where there were no petroleum products ruining the earth. She tossed aside her cotton sheet and wool blanket and stepped out onto a dirt floor covered with willow bark that had been pulverized with rocks.

“What’s this?” she asked.

“Pulverized willow bark,” replied her fairy godmother.

“What happened to the carpet?” she asked.

“The carpet was nylon, which is made from butadiene and hydrogen cyanide, both made from petroleum,” came the response.

Greta smiled, acknowledging that adjustments are necessary to save the planet, and moved to the sink to brush her teeth where instead of a toothbrush, she found a willow, mangled on one end to expose wood fibre bristles.

“Your old toothbrush?” noted her godmother, “Also nylon.”
“Where’s the water?” asked Greta.

“Down the road in the canal,” replied her godmother, ‘Just make sure you avoid water with cholera in it”

“Why’s there no running water?” Greta asked, becoming a little peevish.

“Well,” said her godmother, who happened to teach engineering at MIT, “Where do we begin?”

There followed a long monologue about how sink valves need elastomer seats and how copper pipes contain copper, which has to be mined and how it’s impossible to make all-electric earth-moving equipment with no gear lubrication or tires and how ore has to be smelted to a make metal, and that’s tough to do with only electricity as a source of heat, and even if you use only electricity, the wires need insulation, which is petroleum-based, and though most of Sweden’s energy is produced in an environmentally friendly way because of hydro and nuclear, if you do a mass and energy balance around the whole system, you still need lots of petroleum products like lubricants and nylon and rubber for tires and asphalt for filling potholes and wax and iPhone plastic and elastic to hold your underwear up while operating a copper smelting furnace and . . .

“What’s for breakfast?” interjected Greta, whose head was hurting.

“Fresh, range-fed chicken eggs,” replied her godmother. “Raw.”

“How so, raw?” inquired Greta.

“Well, . . .” And once again, Greta was told about the need for petroleum products like transformer oil and scores of petroleum products essential for producing metals for frying pans and in the end was educated about how you can’t have a petroleum-free world and then cook eggs. Unless you rip your front fence up and start a fire and carefully cook your egg in an orange peel like you do in Boy Scouts. Not that you can find oranges in Sweden anymore.
“But I want poached eggs like my Aunt Tilda makes,” lamented Greta.

“Tilda died this morning,” the godmother explained. “Bacterial pneumonia.”

“What?!” interjected Greta. “No one dies of bacterial pneumonia! We have penicillin.”

“Not anymore,” explained godmother “The production of penicillin requires chemical extraction using isobutyl acetate, which, if you know your organic chemistry, is petroleum-based.

Lots of people are dying, which is problematic because there’s not any easy way of disposing of the bodies since backhoes need hydraulic oil and crematoriums can’t really burn many bodies using as fuel Swedish fences and furniture, which are rapidly disappearing – being used on the black market for roasting eggs and staying warm.”

This represents only a fraction of Greta’s day, a day without microphones to exclaim into and a day without much food, and a day without carbon-fibre boats to sail in, but a day that will save the planet.

Well, now….

From the Gateway Pundit:

Delaware Republican senate candidate Lauren Witzke has alleged that a source close to the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop has informed her that there are images of Senator Chris Coons’ daughter, in addition to seven other underage girls.
Coons’ daughter, Maggie Coons, was infamously photographed being handled inappropriately by Joe Biden in 2015.

His conduct towards her was widely criticized by the mainstream media at the time, particularly because he whispered into her ear and kissed her on the head as she looked terribly uncomfortable.

“Sources close to and with deep knowledge of the investigation, have informed me that Chris Coons’ DAUGHTER in addition to seven other underage girls are also featured on [Hunter Biden’s] laptop.”

…and that’s probably just the leading edge of it. What else it will reveal remains to be seen, but it will not be inconsequential.

Here’s the irony of the day.

In the former home of Mahatma Gandhi, we find the following quote, prominently posted:

“It is doubtful that the efforts of the Mahatma would have succeeded except that he was appealing to the conscience of a Christianized people”

— Bertrand Russell

So here we have, posted in the home of a Buddhist, the words of a militant atheist, extolling the virtues of Christianity.

So much for the argument that the judeo-christian ethic is not Central to Western culture. The constant claim that the judeo-christian ethic is an evil to be overcome is similarly bombed out of existence.

At the bottom line culture exists, and it matters.

I have repeatedly said over the years and hold today that America could not have been created as such with Islam as its cultural philosophy. Nor any of the pantheistic religions, nor atheism.

When the Democrats tell you that they want to make America over, fundamentally change america, remember that it’s no accident that they consistently try to overcome Christianity and its part in the foundation of our unique American culture.

It’s about 5:30 in the morning on Saturday as I write this, from my temporary perch next to the Whitestone bridge in New York City.

There’s an article in this morning’s New York Post:

Manhattan’s beloved Strand Book Store published a call for help this week, admitting that the business has seen a massive financial decline as a result of COVID-19 and is on the brink of shuttering.

“The Strand’s revenue has dropped nearly 70% compared to last year,” Strand owner Nancy Bass Wyden admitted in a letter posted to Twitter on Friday afternoon. “Because of the impact of COVID-19, we cannot survive the huge decline in foot-traffic, a near-complete loss of tourism, and zero in-store events (compared to 400 events pre-pandemic).”

Over at Instapundant, Sarah Hoyt remarks on the story:

THEY’VE SURVIVED WORLD WAR, DEPRESSION, BIG BOX STORES AND E-TAIL BUT THEY CANNOT SURVIVE DEBLASIO & CUOMO

And that my friends, is precisely correct.

Folks, it’s not the pandemic that’s killing the Strand, the pandemic is not whats’s killing New York City. What’s doing that is the lack of leadership under these conditions at the city and state level.

I’m sure I’ll be told that this is an exaggeration, the books have been going bye bye for years in the face of the electronic age and a half a dozen other excuses, but think again:

I’m listening to the radio stations here in the city one of whom is talking about record low rent rates. According to Joe Connolly over at WCBS, business space is being offered for rates they haven’t seen in 90 years. In short, it’s not just the Strand that’s dying off. It’s every business in the city.

And with all respect to the ownership of the strand, it’s not just covid-19 either. Nor is it just businesses that are giving up.

The Post ran a story last August that makes it clear what the problem is:

On Sunday, The Post highlighted families who’ve given up on the Upper West Side — now teeming with junkies, the homeless, convicts and others — and are headed for greener pastures outside Gotham.

Meanwhile, Fox Business reports that moving companies are seeing a continuing surge in citywide business that began soon after the COVID outbreak. And while many of those fleeing may come from Manhattan, the trend is surely not confined to the Upper West Side.

The article goes on to report that every moving company in the city is working overtime at a rate they’ve never seen before, people moving out of New York State and New York City particularly.

It isn’t covid-19 that’s killing off new york. It’s Democrat “leadership”

And the thing is… for all of their bluster… It’s obvious that Cuomo and de Blasio have not a clue what to do about it, or they simply don’t care.

To those people fleeing New York, I have only one request:for the love of your country, don’t bring your Democrat party voting habits with you. They are what put New York City and New York State into the position that they are in.

Remember, stop the spread.

Joe Biden has several vulnerabilities, among them are the idea that he’s at least as corrupt as Hillary Clinton but he isn’t as smart.

Given the way sleepy Joe got his sitting device handed to him last night I’d say Trump has identified them as well.

Another vulnerability is Biden’s insistence on coming down both sides of every issue. Take fracking, for example. When Trump called him out on his two-faced dealings on the subject, Biden challenged him to produce a video. And typically epic Trump fashion it was posted before the debate was officially over. I say officially over because Biden knew it was over long before that.

In my estimation if there was any chance of Joe Biden becoming president, that was lost last night and the nation is breathing easier today as a result.

davidl on October 23rd, 2020

Slow Joe, b/k/a Joseph Biden(moron – DE) chronic, habitual and instinctive liar. When challenged by a difficult question, Slow Joe’s response is tell a like. Previously Slow Joe repeated the same lie about being the first in his family to go to college that blew up his 1988 presidential campaign. In last nights debate Slow Joe reached farther in his trash bag, and repeated Barrack Obama’s award winning lie from 2013 on Obamacare, “If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance, from National Public Radio:

President Obama’s oft-repeated promise that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” is 2013’s “lie of the year,” according to the fact checkers at the Tampa Bay Times’ nonpartisan PolitiFact project.

Slow Joe on keeping your insurance, video:

Hat tip and text, PJ Media:

“Not one single person on private insurance would lose their insurance under my plan, nor did they under Obamacare. They did not lose their insurance unless they chose something else,”

I see but two explanations for Slow Joe’s yarn.  One, Slow Joe is no dement he can not remember the media reaction to the Obama-Biden administration signature achievement or two, he views the media as so toothless and impotent as not to report on it.  So Kristen Walker, is it door one or door two?

Eric Florack on October 23rd, 2020

There’s no question in my mind.

I’m watching the debate, and I’m left with a rather startling conclusion… They’ve got enough Adderall in the “big guy” that he could concentrate orange juice by simply doing his Adam Schiff impersonation.

All the behavioral and physical earmarks are there.

As another observer put it this evening..

…psychotropic drugs dialate the pupils to the point of black eyes… very common with old people drugs… one step away from a chemical lobotomy… very common…

If you had any ideas at all that he was a short timer for the oval office because of his age, the stuff they keep pumping into him to make what laughingly passes for good public appearances isn’t doing him any favors. He simply can’t keep this up forever.

On the other hand I wouldn’t worry much about it. If the polling trends that I’ve been mentioning here for the last few months hold, he won’t have to.

davidl on October 22nd, 2020

A wise man might say: Seldom, if ever, say never.  Slow Joe, b/k/a Joseph Biden(moron – DE) is not a wise man, nor a honest one, from PJ Media:

Joe Biden, “America was an idea. We’ve never lived up to it but we’ve never walked away from it before.”

Americans have lived up to the ideals of America.  The Declaration of Independence repudiated the Devine Rights of Kings to Rule.  Such a declaration was considered Treason, and all fifty-six signatories put themselves at risk of being hanged for Treason.

On Nine Eleven over three Fire Department, City of New York fire fighters died as result of entering burning buildings which they knew they could not escape alive.

On 22 January 1968, grandson of Serbian immigrants United States Air Force Captain Lance Sijan died in the Hanoi Hilton as a result of stubborn resistance to his North Vietnamese captors.

For our entire history Americans, well some, have heeded the call of their country.  Others, not so much.

In Benghazi, Libya, on September 11–12, 2012, Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods died as a result of preplanned attack on an American diplomatic facility.  An attack in which the feckless Obama – Biden administration never even attempted a rescue mission.  However the Obamatards did attempt a cover-up.

Slow Joe, unlike the heroes mentioned above has never failed to place his personal financial interest above the interests of the country he so badly wants to leave.

davidl on October 22nd, 2020

It is no secret that at 77, Slow Joe, b/k/a Joseph Biden(moron – DE) is a mean, petty , vile old man. Thanks to the National Review that Slow Joe selfish nature is not exactly new. NR has dug up a Kitty Kelly interview with the then young pup senator from 1974.

Description from Red State:

Biden’s comments on a variety of subjects during that interview — granted it was 1974 when he was only 31 — are not only cringe-worthy, in some cases they are contemptible.

One thing that cannot be missed — again a reflection of a bygone era — is the degree to which Biden focused on income, wealth, and status as things that he felt entitled to by virtue of his election to the Senate.

Commentary, Then Slow Joe said he could be a good senator and a good president.  The record in Joe’s thirty-six years in the Senate, his legislative achievements amount to a practical zero.

Slow Joe calls himself smart.  Yet he had to cheat his way thru law school and plagiarize his campaign stump speeches.  There three types of people, the smart who know what they know, the dumb who know that they don’t know and the truly dumb who think they know what they fact do not know.  Color Joe the last.

Unlike most other senators, Biden makes no bones about saving he is underpaid. ….“I dont know about the rest of you but I am worth a lot more than my salary of $42,500 a year in this body. It seems to me that we should flat out tell the American people we are worth our salt.”

Joe claims to be smart.  Yet he runs for a job knowing, or should have known, what is paid, but upon assuming office complains he is somehow underpaid.  Joe is you didn’t feel that forty-two thousand dollar as adequate compensation for a man of your talents, you should have sought a better position.

From Red State:

Does Joe Biden really believe anything, or is politics all a process of performance art and showmanship?  He seemed to gravitate towards the latter view in the Kitty Kelly interview:

Some things that occur to me as I go through my day…

# So, one becomes racist by refusing to vote for an 80-year-old White guy who told us all unabashedly that he held KKK Robert Byrd as a mentor… his words, not mine. Yeah, that makes sense.

# Would it surprise you to learn that there are people making money off of this coronavirus lockdown? Would it shock you to learn that one of those people is the architect of obamacare?

# Meanwhile, for all of the screaming and hollering about how there’s new coveted 19 infection cells out there, and we’re looking at more lockdowns, the fact is, Covid-19 death rates continue to fall.

# So what was Jeffrey Toobin so excited about?

# The Transcripts in the Ghislaine Maxwell case are to be released… maybe. Now the trick is, to make sure she survives long enough to testify. My money is on a mysterious heart attack.

# Funny thing, every time the left starts defending itself by claiming the charges against it are conspiracy theories, those conspiracy theories end up proving to be cold hard fact. Every single time.

# So Iran is now interfering in our elections? Supporting Biden, of course…

# I notice over at instapundant, John Tierney says: “NO, HE’S WOKE: Is the Pope Catholic? Francis’s new encyclical reads like a UN mission statement. He demonizes capitalism, and his ecological fundamentalism is more pagan than Catholic.

#Of course, George Soros pouring money into Catholic groups like the Jesuits for example, might have something to do with that. Meantime I keep waiting for this Pope to tell us all about how abortion is a sacrament of God.

Some things that occur to me as I go through my day….

# I note the passing of Spencer Davis. Definitionally, an underrated musical influence.

# I see that Rush Limbaugh’s cancer is getting worse.

I hope he lives long enough to see Donald Trump’s sworn in for his second term. Dying wishes, and all that.

# Apparently, the Biden campaign hasn’t noticed that the Earth isn’t getting warmer. It’s always amazed me that those that profess to “believe in science” don’t believe the actual observations, instead favoring the theoretical models, which are proven dead wrong so often it’s become absolutely routine. Possibly that has something to do with the idea that the theoretical models put more power in the hands of people like Al Gore and Joe Biden.

# I don’t know about you but I’m still waiting for a peaceful transition of power from the 2016 election.

# So all that pandering to Islam that Joe Biden has been doing lately has apparently backfired.

# And finally, additional details about Hunter Biden’s laptop:
