More Left-wing Media Bias

In watching the dispatches out of California, several things emerge. The most prevelant in the last several days is that since Clinton has gotten involved out there, that Davis sounds like Clinton light.

Like Clinton a few years ago, Davis is screaming about those nasty right wingers, placing the blame on their shoulders.

But, as the Knights who say NI once said, there is one small problem…California has a Democrat majority in the state legislature, two Democrat U.S. Senators, and a Democratic soon to be ex-governor. It is inescapable, that California is and has been overwhelmingly run by the Democrat party, and the Democrat party, is in turn, run by the Unions. So, Davis pulls a Clinton, and tries to blame someone other than himself for his state’s problems.

The people are smarter than that. Every poll I’ve ever seen of Democrats in California says that they are the ones who want Davis removed from office.

Now, of course, they won’t tell you that part.  I, however, will.

Fox News is apparently the only org reporting that the blithing fool Franken has been taken down a peg.

Nice to see, but why the silence from the other news orgs, I wonder, hmmm???

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — In his first major speech addressing the effort to recall him from office, California Gov. Gray Davis on Tuesday will acknowledge his personal shortcomings and his role in the state’s budget mess, while saying Republicans are bent on circumventing elections they can’t win.

Davis’ biggest problem is that the GOP can, and WILL win this election.
And it’s becaise he can’t get the support of those in his own party, not the GOP.

Two groups of predominantly black ministers in Baltimore have excluded white mayoral candidates — including incumbent Martin O’Malley — from the groups’ Democratic primary forums, says the Washington TIMES.
Explain to me how fairness has anything whatever to do with this.

Explain to me how this hasn’t evolved into exactly what it does every time the ‘equal rights’ idiots get involved; a defacto quota fest.

Yeah, right.
This strikes me as the same level of laugh that we got from the denials of the Iraqi Defense minister that Americans were in his city, as in the background of the same shot, American tanks patrolled.

No real suprises this morning. The Dow is up, based on good reports from the major retail outlets that consumer spending is up. By all the real world signs the economy is up.

And the left is still complaining the economy is in the crapper.

Gee, one would think that the left really has nothing to run on, huh?

The Associated Press is running a story that says the blackout problems started with a failure in Lansing MI.

It’s possible. Whatever happened, it’s clear that the grid is hopelessly outdated, mostly due to restrictions imposed by NIMBY, and by Liberal Democrats playing Luddite-ism disguised as Environmentalism. The message of this blackout is very clear; reduce these BS restrictions placed on power companies, or more of the same will happen. I’ve not decided what to write on for next week’s BIT, but this is running at the top of the short list so far.

Power came back up about a half hour ago.
That idiot in the Canadian PM’s slot is claiming that the cause was a lightning strike at Niagara Falls, NY.
Environmental records of the time show no precip in the area. No evidence of lightning at any time today in that entire region, in fact.

I get the impression some heads at Environment Canada are going to be rolling to save Jean Chretien wshat little face he has left after Iraq.

Is there was ever any need for proof that Schwarzenegger is far from conservative, it is this move. If he fails in his task it won’t be blamed on conservatives.

Talon News is reporting this morning that Bill and Hillary Clinton are expected to campaign for soon- to- be ex- Gov. Gray Davis. I can’t help but think this is the final nail in the box around Davis.

Gov. Davis whines about the recall will cost the taxpayers nearly $70 million. What he doesn’t comment on is what his holding office has cost the people of California.
