Not unexpectedly, Elizabeth Warren is now having a meltdown.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) launched a bizarre Twitter rant late Monday afternoon following the disastrous rollout of DNA results that further debunked her decades-long claim to American Indian ancestry.
I suspect we can assume from the events of the last few days that identity politics, where the Democrats have been making their bread and butter for decades, is now dead, having been killed off by a white woman claiming to be black, a white woman claiming to be Indian, and an Irishman claiming to be Hispanic.

Why such politics would be dead now comes down to another question… why would such people even be attempting to associate themselves with such things absent some kind of an advantage? Put another way, if White Privilege exists, why call yourself Indian black or Hispanic?
As I pointed out the other day, we never see this kind of thing going on from anywhere outside the Democrat Party… So the answer is politics.
The only remaining question is whether or not she keeps her job as a senator.
For the sake of the country as a whole, let’s hope not.
Over at Outside the Beltway, (which increasingly should be changing its title to inside the Beltway) James Joyner asks an interesting question. Essentially, why now?
The disappearance and presumptive murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi while in the Saudi embassy in Turkey has spawned a level of outrage that has surprised me. After all, the Saudi government routinely murders dissidents and has killed tens of thousands of civilians in its ongoing spree of atrocity in Yemen with hardly a peep.
Well, that’s very true. It does Raise The Logical question of why all this hell is being raised over this particular individual.
The answer clearly is because raising a stink about it previously wasn’t politically useful for people here in the states until now. One political group in particular finds it useful, just now.
As to the timing, what’s coming up next month?
In the piece Stephen Green laid out over at instapundit…
“In truth, Khashoggi never had much time for western-style pluralistic democracy. In the 1970s he joined the Muslim Brotherhood, which exists to rid the Islamic world of western influence. He was a political Islamist until the end, recently praising the Muslim Brotherhood in the Washington Post. He championed the ‘moderate’ Islamist opposition in Syria, whose crimes against humanity are a matter of record. Khashoggi frequently sugarcoated his Islamist beliefs with constant references to freedom and democracy. But he never hid that he was in favour of a Muslim Brotherhood arc throughout the Middle East. His recurring plea to bin Salman in his columns was to embrace not western-style democracy, but the rise of political Islam which the Arab Spring had inadvertently given rise to. For Khashoggi, secularism was the enemy.”
Isn’t it interesting that this guy was totally wrapped up in the kind of Islamic politics encouraged by the Middle East policy of Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton…(Arab Spring?)
And of course it fits that the Crown Prince there is trying to drag the Middle East Kicking and Screaming into the modern world… Something that Jamal Khashoggi desperately against as it turns out… And if we judge by the Middle East policy the Democrat Party was against it here in the US, as well.
All of which would seem to answer rather nicely the question posed by James.
I suspect he’s not going to like the answer. I’m quite sure I don’t but for different reasons.
Now, keep in mind all of this makes the assumption that the man was killed, which is a point we have absolutely no evidence on whatsoever. A situation not unlike something we saw in the Brett Kavanaugh hearings recently…as the Donald himself pointed out yesterday.
Limbaugh seems to feel that this is an attempt on the American left to try and pin these connections on Donald Trump just before the midterms. And yes I’m convinced there is at least some of that.
Trump for his part is playing this one fairly smart. And for that I’m going to suggest reading Rodger Simon’s column today.
As Rodger points out, which country has more journalists in jail? Turkey, or the Saudis? The answer is Turkey without even blinking. And yes, the outrage gets directed against the Crown Prince. And by extension Donald Trump. See how this thing works?
Call me crazy if you like but personally I find it stretches credulity that a caravan of Hondurans got together and planned a March, a mass migration into the US and managed in that process to alert all the u.s. leftist Press to their entry points and all right before the election.
I smell George Soros.
Addendum(DavidL):
Question, how far does the left wing press extend? Answer, far enough to include CBS News, from Sundance(Last Refuge}:
Organized Honduran Migrant Caravan Attempts to Reach U.S. Border to Coordinate with Mid-Term Election…
Last week there were six unique encounters between President Trump and U.S. journalists where the topic of illegal aliens and family border separations was brought up. It seemed odd at the time because the issue has not been a topic within discussion. These exchanges culminated in CBS correspondent Leslie Stahl asking the same question repeatedly during a 60 minutes interview on Sunday night.
When the leftarded media is acting like puppets, it is right to look for the puppet master.
So why would Elizabeth Warren be making claims she is Native American, when her own DNA testing taken to prove she was telling the truth exposes that Not only was she lying about this, it also exposes the fact that she actually has more Hispanic heritage in her then Beto O’Rourke does?

Speaking of which,…
Why would “Beto” O’Rourke be claiming to be Hispanic when in fact he’s Irish?
Why would Rachel Dolezal claim to be black, when she is in fact whiter than most refrigerators?
Obviously the answer is that in these people’s estimation there is something of an advantage for adopting such a label.
I wonder what that Advantage would be in Democrat Party circles?
I mean, I hope it hasn’t slipped your notice that you never see such claims coming from anyone outside the Democrat Party.
You know what. For a sick man, Ace sure was a way with words:
Elizabeth Warren Proudly Releases Test Results Proving She Has Less Indian DNA Than the Average Non-Indian White Person
For our math fans out there, Paceface’s potential Native American ancestry is circa 0.098%.
Addendum, Eric
I was going post comments of my own but I see David’s beat me to it, so I’ll simply add them here.
The woman has been lying about this all along because she thinks she’s going to get a pass in some way. Just like Obama lied about being a foreign exchange student. Why would he do that? Same reason. Because it has advantages. Financial advantages, political advantages, and so on.

In an attempt to supposedly prove she’s been telling the truth all this time, in an obvious attempt to prepare for running for president in 2020, the Woman releases a test that shows clearly that she’s been lying, and is in fact whiter than milk on rice… whiter than LED lighting, and whiter than the sheets at a KKK rally.
The bottom line is Elizabeth Warren tried to double down on a stupid lie, and it blew up in her face.
I mean, you can’t write stuff funnier than this… And the comments that are coming off of the situation are just pure gold.
Sean over at RealClearPolitics for example;
People are missing the forest for the trees in this Warren thing. If “I’m 1/1024th Native American pay up Trump neener neener ” is really how she plans to run a campaign, she will get shredded, at least relative to Democratic potential as decided by the economy, etc.
Rich Lowry agrees saying in part:
Elizabeth Warren hasn’t dealt with a problem, she has highlighted it and opened up other avenues for attack. For Trump, 1/1024th will be priceless material
And apparently sensing just how thin the list of available people to run in 2020 is for the Democrats, left has already come out defending this insane action…
But you know, I’m starting to think that perhaps the result of all of this is going to be a little bit more immediate than 2020. When her current constituents read for themselves that she’s been feeding them a bald-faced lie for years now, I wonder what their reaction will be?
At the very least, the list of viable Democratic candidates for 2020 just got thinner by that much.
Let’s do a couple of quotes from Frederick Douglass…
“The fifth day after my arrival I put on the clothes of a common laborer, and went upon the wharves in search of work. On my way down Union street I saw a large pile of coal in front of the house of Rev. Ephraim Peabody, the Unitarian minister. I went to the kitchen-door and asked the privilege of bringing in and putting away this coal. “What will you charge?” said the lady. “I will leave that to you, madam.” “You may put it away,” she said. I was not long in accomplishing the job, when the dear lady put into my hand two silver half-dollars. To understand the emotion which swelled my heart as I clasped this money, realizing that I had no master who could take it from me—that it was mine—that my hands were my own, and could earn more of the precious coin—one must have been in some sense himself a slave. . . . I was not only a freeman but a free-working man, and no master Hugh stood ready at the end of the week to seize my hard earnings.”
Here’s another one from Frederick Douglass…
Our answer is, do nothing with them; mind your business, and let them mind theirs. Your doing with them is their greatest misfortune. They have been undone by your doings, and all they now ask, and really have need of at your hands, is just to let them alone. They suffer by ever interference, and succeed best by being let alone. The Negro should have been let alone in Africa — let alone when pirates and robbers offered him for sale in our Christian slave markets — (more cruel and inhuman than the Mohammedan slave markets) — let alone by courts, judges, politicians, legislators and slave-drivers — let alone altogether, and assured that they were thus to be left alone forever, and that they must now make their own way in the world, just the same as any and every other variety of the human family.
As colored men, we only ask to be allowed to do with ourselves, subject only to the same great laws for the welfare of human society which apply to other men, Jews, Gentiles, Barbarian, Sythian. Let us stand upon our own legs, work with our own hands, and eat bread in the sweat of our own brows. When you, our white fellow-countrymen, have attempted to do anyting for us, it has generally been to deprive us of some right, power or privilege which you yourself would die before you would submit to have taken from you. When the planters of the West Indies used to attempt to puzzle the pure-minded Wilberforce with the question, How shall we get rid of slavery? his simple answer was, “quit stealing.” In like manner, we answer those who are perpetually puzzling their brains with questions as to what shall be done with the Negro, “let him alone and mind your own business.” If you see him plowing in the open field, leveling the forest, at work with the spade, a rake a hoe, a pick-axe, or a bill — let him alone; he has a right to work. If you see him on his way to school, with spelling book, geography and arithmetic in his hands — let him alone. Don’t shut the door in his face, nor bolt your gates against him; he has a right to learn — let him alone. Don’t pass laws to degrade him. If he has a ballot in his hand, and is on his way to the ballot-box to deposit his vote for the man whom he think will most justly and wisely administer the Government which has the power of life and death over him, as well as others — let him alone; his right of choice as much deserves respect and protection as your own.
My friends, it is Small Wonder then why Frederick Douglass is no longer even mentioned in government schools. His philosophies and indeed, his very life run directly afoul of where government has gone with regards to not only race relations but the value of the individual and of that individuals work ethic.
(with thanks to Billy Beck for the first quote which started these thought process is moving again)
Leave to the woman formerly known as the “Smartest Woman in the World” to be too stupid to know when to shut up, from CBS News:
When asked if Bill’s affair was an abuse of power, Clinton repeatedly said “No.”
“There are people who look at the incidents of the ’90s and they say ‘A president of the United States can not have a consensual relationship with an intern, the power imbalance is too great,'” CBS correspondent Tony Dokoupil began before Clinton interjected to point out Lewinsky was an adult.
Harvey Weinstein, a/k/a Harvey the Perv, used his power over women to extort sexual favors. That is exactly what B.J. Clinton has done. Yet Mrs. Clinton defends her husbands predatory behavior seemingly aware, or unconcerned, that her defense is also applicable to Weinstein.
Just some random thoughts that I wanted to capture.
# I’m firmly convinced that the reason feminists hate men, (and there can be no other term for it) is because they surround themselves with liberal men. Who, aren’t really men, at all.
# It interests me that the Democrats didn’t get around to making the charge against Brett Kavanaugh about perjury in front of the senate committee, until such time as Christine Ford changed the story she told in the sworn statement, thereby exposing herself to perjury charges. This looks to be right out of Saul Alinsky’s Playbook… Charge others with what you’re guilty of.
# Speaking of which, and looking back through time I see I have made mention of the fact that the left was more annoyed with Mike Pence remaining stubbornly loyal to his wife then they were with Harvey Weinstein and his antics. Given what we saw the Democrats are capable of in the Kavanaugh hearings, maybe what Pence had going was not all that bad an idea.
# I see Al Gore is out there trying to resuscitate the global warming myth. Apparently we only have until 2005 to save the planet. If people truly understood science, the global warming myth would have been dealt with by a firing squad or three.
# So, over in the UK, they’ve apparently got a killer clown problem. One of them tried to attack a driver there outside Bolton. You know, the most terrifying thing for me about killer clowns is they could all be showing up in one car.
# I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. John Bolton needs to be our representative to the UN. And if we’re smart about it he will be the last one. I’ll tell you the truth… the interest of world peace and helping the poor would be better served by evicting the UN from Turtle Bay and turning the place into low-income housing.
A short while ago the headlines were full of Amazon raising their minimum wage to $15 an hour. First of all, it seems to me that if you want to get along in the political environment, you play the game that the people in power want. Into a large degree that’s still the Democrats, particularly in California. Washington State. And, so on.
So this is Jeff Bezos playing the same game that Donald Trump played in New York City when he was concentrated on doing business there and not running politically. That bubble is well satisfied by that move. The left is praising Jeff Bezos for doing this, and yet Glenn bass did Donald Trump for playing the same game.
However, the real reason that Jeff Bezos is doing this, is to put pressure on small businesses which are a large part of his competition. This is not a matter of raising all boats, and helping employees of small businesses everywhere. This is a matter of wiping out your competition.
Most small businesses are not going to be able to afford the kind of increases that were talking about here and as a result will eventually go out of business and probably bankrupt their owners. And since the majority of businesses in the country are small businesses what do you suppose that does for the economy?
Works out fine for Jeff Bezos cuz he can handle it out of hand. works out nicely for the Democrats he’s placating, too, because big business is easier to regulate than small ones and overwhelmingly donate to the Democrat Party.
The results of this stuff is eminently predictable.
* What does Joe Manchin have on Chuck Schumer? Why is it this guy isn’t getting death threats?
* The amount of crazy coming off the left has been ramping up for the last 35 or 40 years now. Every single president over that time has been labeled Adolf Hitler. It’s gotten to the point where it’s rather expected… Anything that doesn’t throw the Democrat Party Line gets that label. After watching the Brett Kavanaugh debacle, one wonders just how much more crazy they can go. With Hillary Clinton essentially cheering the end of Civility, I strongly suspect that we’re about to get a demonstration of it. Does the knob go up to 12?
* Through experimentation I have found a way to shut down completely anyone making the argument that women should be the leaves even if there is no evidence to back the charge. Just wave a picture of Crystal Mangum.
* The big problem with telling Taylor Swift and Bette Midler to shut up and sing, is that they can’t do that, either.
And finally….
* Political correctness has led us to this pass, where are are told all cultures are equal. The weeds, in effect, are equal to the flowers. And of course the weeds, which now have that leg up, if you will, are pushing the idea that the flowers are the problem.
Back when we fought the Nazis, one of the things we fought for was the American way of life. Our culture, in short. We cultivate that garden, our culture, no longer. Is it any wonder the weeds are doing so well?
I’ll be interested in seeing the reason for Nikki Haley’s departure from the UN Ambassador slot, but I doubt it’s a substantial policy difference that caused it.
This is being written prior to the press conference on the matter. As you might expect, the running consensus right now is some sort of policy disagreements. Then again, the press has forever been trying to represent divisions within the White House where there isn’t any. Their consistency in that area has become cliche.
The chatter I’m hearing at this point is she said before she took the job she only wanted to keep it for 2 years.
As to her Replacement? Seems to me the hands-down choice here would be John Bolton.
The the last Senate hearing on the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, brough me back to my high school days. So should it for everybody. Well few things are more synonymous with high school than Mad Magazine. No reference to Alfred E. Newman, but rather a shout out to Spy v. Spy. However rather than two bumbling male spies, we now have the Blonde versus Blonde, courtesy of my favorite North of the Border blogger, web mistress of Small Dead Animals.

Silly Gilly, b/k/a Senator Kristen Gillibrand, in positioning herself for a presidential waddle in ‘Twenty. Silly Gilly calls herself a women’s champion, but in reality only hates men (to include her two sons?). Now Gilly is campaigning with one Linda Sarsour, a leading apologist for militant Islam, which hates their own women even more than it hates men, from Daily Wire:
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) has been openly courting progressives, likely as part of a plan to position herself as the chosen candidate of the far left ahead of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary. But on Thursday, Gillibrand may have taken her furthest left turn yet; she was introduced at a “#CancelKavanaugh” rally by none other than Women’s March organizer (and noted anti-Semite), Linda Sarsour.
[…]
Sarsour called Gillibrand, “another champion, another one of our people who works for us on the inside,” as Gillibrand came bounding up the stairs and onto the stage, trailed closely by comedian Amy Schumer.
Golly, both Silly Gilly and Amy Schumer bouncing up the steps. Somebody going to need a new staircase.
As the Reagan Battalion points out on Twitter, Sarsour is associated with anti-Semitism, and the vile, anti-Jewish, misogynistic leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan. Sarsour is a conspiracy theorist, an apparent supporter of female genital mutilation, and anti-Israel activist. Associating with her should be political poison.
As to Silly Gilly and Sarsour’s girls parts, or potential lack thereof, have the girls pledged fidelity to the cause of radial Islam by donating their girl parts, and if not why not. I wonder if the world’s most famous amateur gynecologist Mr. B.J Clinton could check them out and report back?
Preface, Conservative Tribune:
“Over in real life, a place Sharpton hasn’t visited in a long time.”
Video:
Text:
During a Friday appearance on NBC’s “Dateline,” the well-known race hustler declared that Trump supporters are people who “go to the lynching after clothing themselves in morality.”
“I think that we’re dealing with a bully,” Sharpton said, talking about Trump. “Let’s not forget these people would go to church and then go to the lynching after clothing themselves in morality. And that’s what we’re seeing today.”
Maybe the Reverend Sharpton is self-medicating himself on too much medical marijuana? Who knows. While the definition and measure of lynching is ambiguous, the most recent murder I could find which could fit the definition was the murder of James Byrd in 1998. The most respected compiler of lynching murders issued its last report in 1959. If Reverend Al’s church goes are looking for an after worship lynching, they must be awfully disappointed.
In any case, the Reverend Al Sharpton is not in position to be preaching on the morality of lynching. Sharpton as blood on his hands for inciting the 1991 mob murder of Yankel Rosenbaum, from the Lid:
“Then we had a famous man, Al Sharpton, who came down, and he said Tuesday night, kill the Jews, two times. I heard him, and he started to lead a charge across the street to Utica.”
Stifle yourself Reverend!
For the last 40 years every GOP judicial candidate has gone through a certain amount of democrat crazy, the level of which has been going up steadily over those years.
I have been saying for well over a year now that the Democrats and their reaction to Trump have precisely zero to do with Trump himself, but rather a protest against the roadblock to Democrat politics.
Similarly, this last month or so had nothing to do with Brett Kavanaugh, per se’ …Rather, it was about an originalist ascending to the highest court in the country thereby blocking Democrat political goals.
On the basis of those observations I submit that if you want to see something even crazier, wait until the next u.s. Supreme Court nomination comes along from this President, as it will within the next year.
