Online friend Jerry Saperstein, yesterday…

After Obama, I have no belief whatsoever in the integrity of any federal government agency, especialy the Department of Justice and the FBI.

Thus, the arrest of Cesar Sayoc as the alleged sender of so-called bombs strongly reminds me of Obama blaming the Benghazi massacre of American citizens on a video made by the obscure Nakoula Basseley Nakoula,

In short, I am not convinced that the truth has yet been told regarding the infernal devices and their creator(s) and distributor(s).

I am more inclined to believe it is the invention of the same people who declared Hillary Clinton and her collagues innocent of any crimes and paid for the creation and dissemination of the Steele dossier, as well as the claim that Mitt Romney didn’t pay income taxes.

Well, precisely.
I mean, forgive me but even absent the long list of outright lies that Jerry lists, there is enough in this particular case alone to raise questions about the truthfulness of what we’re being told.

Have have a look at the van that they arrested him in. I don’t know about you but it strikes me that this is not a sign of somebody who is trying desperately to remain anonymous in the midst of a nationwide manhunt.

Look at the condition of the stuff in his windows. How long do you suppose those stickers would have remained fresh and clean and unsun- bleached, in the sun of Central Florida?

I’m telling you folks, I smell a cat’s paw.

The story in South Florida is still unfolding… and I expect you’re probably following the story anyway so it’s pretty much useless my putting up links to it just now.

But there’s still a number of things that leap to the front here that nobody’s mentioned so far. I’ll list a few of them here.

The Democrats of course are leaping in front of any microphone or camera they can find to denounce Republicans as inherently violent, that this is all because of Donald Trump, and so on. Pretty much standard play for them anymore. The thing is, how is the supposed hate and violence directed at Democrats, any different from the hate that we’ve seen directed at Trump and anyone who dares to support him for the last 6 months by the very same Democrats who are out there crying foul today?

And speaking of Violence by Democrats why didn’t we hear about this attack?

Security footage released by prosecutors on Wednesday shows the shootout between a former porn star and cops that occurred earlier this year in Miami. On May 18, 2018, Jonathan Oddi, a former adult film actor, broke into the Trump National Doral Miami resort and began pacing, barefoot, in the lobby. Witnesses to the event said Oddi was “making disparaging remarks about” President Donald Trump, according to NBC.Oddi, 42 can be seen in the footage dragging a large American flag with him and holding a gun. He unfurls the flag on the resort’s concierge desk and angrily shoves a cannister off the end of the desk. The footage then shows him leaning against that desk and putting on socks before spreading out the flag and attempting to reach the security camera. Oddi unfurls the flag some more and smashes the resort’s front desk computers before police arrive outside. At first, Oddi puts the gun down and puts his arms in the air, but then picks the gun up and begins shooting at the officers, using the desk as cover. After some back-and-forth shooting, Oddi takes off into the hotel, still firing. He briefly slips on the hotel’s floors as officers pursue. He then runs up a flight of stairs and knocks over some furniture before an officer is able to arrest him.

Ask yourself now, Would this have occurred absent the spectacle that was the Brett Kavanaugh circus for example?

Would either of these actions, the pipe bomb mailings or the incident I cited above have occurred absent various Democrats calling for incivility and violence against anyone who refuses to chant their manttra?

It’s as Andy McCarthy said in the article I quoted just yesterday…

There is plenty of media commentary at the moment about incivility, in the form of incendiary rhetoric and actions. This is entirely appropriate. But I’m at a loss to understand how the climate is improved by spicing up reports with thinly veiled suggestions that President Trump may have triggered a series of potentially murderous attacks on political opponents. When Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson opened fire on the Republicans he targeted and nearly killed Representative Steve Scalise, I don’t recall much Timesspeculation about whether he could have been set him off by Democrats urging their supporters to get aggressive — “get in their face”; “if they bring a knife, we bring a gun” — when dealing with political adversaries..

In doing some digging I found the following….

According to opensecrets.org, he’s never donated to any politicians but his mother madeline gave to joe kennedy (D) in the 90s’.

He claims to be Seminole. His twitter was still up as of a few hours ago. He joined in ’16, only follows lefties and some sports, does not follow Trump.

His tweets are to do mostly with corrupt democrats..many identical posts – over and over, few pro-Trump.

There’s two different hits from the same website within minutes of each other.

I will leave you to your own conclusions about this data so far but I have to tell you ….something about this whole thing stinks to high heaven.

How do we know the packages sent to prominent Democrats were actually sent by Democrats? Simple. None of them worked. (Pun intended, but I’ll get to that.)

Well, that and George Soros being the first Target that was reported yesterday.

To my mind all this really comes down to the question of “who is going to benefit the most by sending devices that won’t work”?

As to the pun about working… Let’s just for a moment imagine that we have a right-wing crazy sending this stuff out. Does anybody really think he’s going to give a crap about killing somebody? No, that would be the precise intent.

The left, meanwhile, is not going to want to see harm their team, either physically or politically.so the packages are constructed so that they will never bloody well go off.

And who sends pipe bombs in the mail for someone who doesn’t open their own mail, thus guaranteeing that the attack will be unsuccessful?

And finally here is the conclusion from this that everybody else has drawn, already…. Given what we’ve seen out of the Democrats the last few Cycles, would any of us put such an action past them?

As to the usual left-wing reactions on all of this… and of course I include the press in the left wing…SA Mathews notes with words to the effect that it’s interesting, how the ricin death threat to sitting US Senator Susan Collins didn’t get even a smidgen of the coverage of the bomb threat to Soros, who is not an elected official. It’s almost if the national media is more outraged about certain threats than others.

There’s some more pieces to this puzzle, too… Contained in an ongoing Twitter discussion…

The funny part about this is that it took these events to make Hillary Clinton reconsider her call to Democrat violence.

Andy McCarthy notes the usual selective concern of leftists:

.There is plenty of media commentary at the moment about incivility, in the form of incendiary rhetoric and actions. This is entirely appropriate. But I’m at a loss to understand how the climate is improved by spicing up reports with thinly veiled suggestions that President Trump may have triggered a series of potentially murderous attacks on political opponents. When Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson opened fire on the Republicans he targeted and nearly killed Representative Steve Scalise, I don’t recall much Timesspeculation about whether he could have been set him off by Democrats urging their supporters to get aggressive — “get in their face”; “if they bring a knife, we bring a gun” — when dealing with political adversaries.
.

Yeah, really.

After spending so much time calling for incivility against anyone that stands in their way the Democrats are going to have a hard time calling for civility, if in fact they want to claim as they are already doing that this was some kind of a right-wing crazy doing this. As I’ve already described above, that seems unlikely at best.

More as I find of course, but my heart tells me that this stuff isn’t going to be fully revealed until just after the midterms.

CNN bombs. Below is a picture which CNN alleged was mailed to John Brennan.

Hat photo: NY Post

So sports fans, what is missing? The postmark. So how did this “bomb” get into the CNN mail room? Did it walk or fly.

First let’s take a static shot of the rally, run by Barack Obama just yesterday.

46 people. That’s all he could manage. It was a little over, but most of them were press, 57 is the number I see being used… Another 14 were Secret Service or janitors. People that actually came to see the man? 46 people.

In Houston meanwhile, a couple of days ago, President Trump had a little rally himself. 100,000 people showed up… To a venue that couldn’t hold 10% of that. Here’s a look at some of the folks that were inside.

…and a few more who didn’t make it in…

I have to tell you my friends …the last time I saw this degree of disparity in support numbers was incidental to Ronald Reagan’s reelection campaign.

Am I suggesting that Donald Trump is the next Ronald Reagan? No. Long time readers of this site will know better.

What I’m suggesting is the predictions of a Blue Wave are really just Democrats trying to create their own reality. I mean, are you going to believe the Democrats or are you going to believe your own Lying Eyes?

I’ve been saying for a long time now that China is the real problem here, not Russia. Manipulating elections? Child’s Play.

One of the most prominent “research” groups behind the attacks on conservative free speech on the Internet this year is a company called “New Knowledge.” But now a new review of the company shows that one of its biggest backers is one of our biggest international opponents, the Chinese Government.
….

New Knowledge co-founder Jonathon Morgan describes his company as a “cybersecurity company specializing in disinformation defense for highly visible brands under attack by coordinated disinformation campaigns. Through machine learning and Ai, we detect threats and provide brand manipulation protection before damage is done.”

It is this “disinformation” that New Knowledge has been hired to root out and it is their work that has served as a basis for attacks on conservatives by The Washington Post and The Atlantic, not to mention the efforts by Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others to eliminate conservatives from the Internet.

This is precisely what I’ve been saying all along.

As much as the libtards scream believe in science, they sure don’t seem to know much about it.  Those took and passed high school biology know that in mammals sex is determined by chromosomes.  You have a Y chromosome and you are male.  Lack one and you are female.  Sex is determined by chromosomes and expressed in genitalia.  That is in this universe.  Whereas is some alternative universe, from the New York Times, via Breitbart:

Now the Department of Health and Human Services is spearheading an effort to establish a legal definition of sex under Title IX, the federal civil rights law that bans gender discrimination in education programs that receive government financial assistance, according to a memo obtained by The New York Times.

The department argued in its memo that key government agencies needed to adopt an explicit and uniform definition of gender as determined “on a biological basis that is clear, grounded in science, objective and administrable.” The agency’s proposed definition would define sex as either male or female, unchangeable, and determined by the genitals that a person is born with, according to a draft reviewed by The Times. Any dispute about one’s sex would have to be clarified using genetic testing.

The Times reports on an alleged Trump plan to better define sex, and then screams gender discrimination.  It is as if the Administration hates personal pronouns.

From the article,

Progressives — led by university-based feminists — pushed the preference-before-biology transgender claim by inventing two ideas: That each person has a male or female feeling, dubbed a “gender identity,” and that a person’s “gender identity” may somehow not match their male or female biological sex.

[…]

But this gender ideological claim is impossible to prove, partly because no-one has ever found a “gender” organ hidden among the male or female organs in people’s bodies.

Gender, outside of personal pronouns, may or may not exist.  However gender is not sex. For example, the person formerly known as Bruce Jenner is free to claim that somehow he is now female, and has the fat butt to prove it.  However Jenner’s claims have not and will not alter his chromosomes.

The devil on my shoulder informs me Trump administration was trolling the Times to drive them bat shit crazy just before the midterms

The spectacle that was the Kavanaugh hearing.

The Invasion coming in from the south with connections to George Soros backed groups

The business with Khashoggi, and a sudden outrage about it after Decades of Silence about other human rights abuses.

I’ll warn you right now that these are not organic events. They were scripted… With a specific purpose in mind.

davidl on October 20th, 2018

One Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arabian subject, Islamist, either current or past member of Muslim Brotherhood, and least an employee of the Washington Post; has apparently been murdered in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Pakistan.  No man should be murdered.  That said, I see no reason to view the late Khashoggi any different than any other dead Muslim.  Khashoggi was not an American, not killed in our jurisdiction, and aside from being employed by an erstwhile US entity, the WaPo, had no connection to this country.  In short, Khashoggi’s death, while regrettable, is simply not our problem.  So why all the tears, from Emily Rauhala, Anton Troianovski, WaPo, via Chicago Tribune:

For nearly three weeks, the world has watched President Donald Trump downplay the disappearance and apparent slaying of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and waited for the most powerful man in the world to act. They are waiting still.

Trump’s inconsistent and cautious remarks about the case have renewed questions about U.S. credibility and complicated the global response, emboldening adversaries such as Russia and China and discouraging a robust response from traditional allies, according to analysts and former U.S. officials.

Sadly for the WaPo, Hell is a rather large place and there is no special place for those who kill their employees.

Eric Florack on October 20th, 2018

I know I’ve already addressed these points, but I think it’s worth the effort to point to the confirmation of what I said the other day. Read this entire article.

“On Aug. 28, 2018, Khashoggi published an article for The Washington Post titled “The U.S. is wrong about the Muslim Brotherhood — and the Arab world is suffering for it.” In it, he blames the United States’ aversion to the Muslim Brotherhood for the “loss of a great opportunity to reform the entire Arab world and allow a historic change that might have freed the region from a thousand years of tyranny.”

And

“Get that? It is the Sharia supremacist Muslim Brotherhood that in Khashoggi’s view would have “liberated” the Arab world.”

Well, the obvious response is that it should be no shock to anybody why the left in this country find Khashoggi’s killing, if killing it was (where’s the evidence?) so problematic.

But I’m beginning to think that this is only the second part of the story. The first part …..and this is I will more than grant, a conjecture… The outrage from the American left over this thing has more than taken on an air of being scripted. Almost like the whole thing was planned in advance.

This this isn’t rocket science, kids. Somebody wanted to yank back on the reins of the Crown Prince, and to spoil the broth between that reformer in the Islamic world, and the American president that they don’t like. (Remember my friends, that the Muslim Brotherhood is desperate to keep any of the modern world that they can out of the area of sphere of influence.)

The American left has already demonstrated its ability to convict without any evidence (ala Brett Kavanaugh). what better way to accomplish all these goals then to try to pin the murder on the Crown Prince and/or his subordinates?

And how do you do that in terms of American public opinion? Why it’s simple. Simply engage your fellow Travelers in the US press. Ignore for the moment, that such killings in the Middle East are fairly common and never seem to raise an eyebrow among the American press. Get one or two to howling indignation, and the rest will follow suit. That pattern is all too well established.

And Presto change-o, not only do we have a roadblock to dragging the Islamic World Kicking and Screaming into the 21st century, (as the Crown Prince has long intended) we get to toss insults at Donald Trump, various Republican Congress Critters, and the West in general, thereby supporting the Democrat Party…

And meanwhile just what gets taken off the table? That’s right, the spectacle that was the Kavanaugh hearings. The idea that in that case the Democrats well overplayed their hand.

After watching the Democrats operates these last couple of years, I tell you I wouldn’t put them above any of this. All in all, I smell a Soros operation or at the least, somebody with a significant amount of money and well-established resources to be able to pull off this kind of thing.

Many thanks to Connie Brimmer for pointing this article out.

PS:. If it all sounds fantastic to you, how many of you figured the Democrats would go quite as far as they did these last couple of years? We all should have learned by now not to underestimate them

Jobs not Mobs might be the best campaign slogan since “I like Ike”, video:

Hat tip: Sundance.

Mrs. Clinton thank you for your parting words.

I have said several times on this website and elsewhere that I trust places like Snopes about as far as I can throw Michael Moore.

In this particular case it’s ‘Polyfact”.

..At some point, we may have to consider the possibility that certain media fact-checkers are not so dispassionate and free from partisan biases as they’d like us to believe.

PolitiFact has already stepped in it twice this week, publishing two false stories favoring Democratic candidates, and I suspect this number isn’t going to decline the closer we get to the November midterm elections.

The first bogus PolitiFact ruling, which gives a “mostly false” ruling to an absolutely true claim made in an ad by Arizona Republican Senate Candidate Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., still stands. The second bogus PolitiFact story, which originally gave a “false” ruling to a GOP ad claiming Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., once said “normal people” can afford to fly on private planes, has already been retracted and reissued with a new, still bogus ruling. It’s not even the weekend.

Now, of course this isn’t the first time this has happened.

Don’t bother quoting any “fact check” sites with me if you’re going to discuss politics with me anywhere. It will only elicit loud laughter.

Eric Florack on October 19th, 2018

Some of the ideas that came up in the course of yesterday:

# I wonder how many people its occcurred to, that the threats from the Democrats about ” collateral damage” to those who don’t agree with the Democrat agenda, sounds strangely like islamist terrorists? Same question for the increasing number of attacks by democrats on anyone that doesn’t agree with them already.

# Which of course leads us to the question that I asked the other day, in noting Hillary Clinton calling for less civility to anyone outside the donkey Plantation… At what point in the last 60 years or so have the Democrats ever been civil?

# It is disturbing in the extreme to see Jewish voters still going for Democrat candidates, in much the same way as watching someone commit suicide. I mean, it’s not like they haven’t seen this before. You would think they would be able to identify it by now.

And yes, is there anyone who doesn’t identify Antifa with the Democrat Party? And if you take antifa doesn’t represent the Democrat Party, explain the extreme similarity of tactics.

Eric Florack on October 18th, 2018

Observe a little graphic history.

Everything they don’t like is Hitler.

Which is why I find the Democrat Party leadership telling their followers to be less civil to be so laughable….

At what point in the last 60 years at least, have the Democrat Party ever been civil?

Eric Florack on October 18th, 2018

This is probably as good an indication on how the Senate races are going to pan up as anything you might find, and it comes to us from all places, The Washington Post:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said she “absolutely” favors reopening an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct by Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh if her party takes control of the chamber next year.

Feinstein, who is in line to become chairwoman of the committee if Democrats prevail, was asked about the prospect during a debate Wednesday in San Francisco as she seeks reelection to her Senate seat.

“Oh, I’d be in favor of opening up the allegations. Absolutely,” Feinstein said.

Politically speaking this is the move of somebody that knows there is no way on God’s green earth that the Democrats are going to take the Senate any longer, particularly has to have the support of the guano- crazy Left Coast, if she wants to hang on to what little power and influence she’s got left.

At this point she figures she’s got nothing to lose, and something to maintain by playing her ‘crazy” card.
