Another Mass Grave in Iraq Found

About 400 women and children, this time.

Says Fox:

Some 25 sets of remains — all women and children — have been pulled from the grave, each with a bullet hole in the skull. The military said the size of the area leads them to believe the site contains between 200 and 400 bodies.

I am convinced that we should be showing photos of these finds. Imagine this with me, please:

The Libidiiots start screaming about how Bush supposedly lied. So, in response, someone with a brain simply holds up a poster sized picture of one of these mass graves, without saying a word, letting the dead give their silent testimony.

It may not shame the idiots, (after their support of Clinton, what would?) but it would put into perspective how petty they’re being.

$500,000. That’s the price tag so far for this operation. That aside from the legal bills.
And what if after the fact it decides that’s not what it wanted, after all?

The judge thinks this is a serious medical condition. Perhaps thinks is too strong a word?

Here’s another case of a judge making rulings that smacks of judicial advocacy. We’ve had a rash of them of late.

Canada’s new law has been passed and is being sent to the CSC for vetting. The wording I found interesting was that marriage was defined as two people (no mention of sexual roles) “to the exclusion of all others”. Seems to me an open question, here. Do people who have an “open marriage” now complain that their chosen lifestyle is being now unconstitutional? “to the exclusion of all others” seems problematic for such people, no?

This will be challanged… and not by the right… but by people who will claim this doesn’t go far enough.

I’m quite sure McAuliffe will suggest that this stand takes serious courage. Fact is, though, that Democrat insiders as well as the Republicans are saying Davis’ chances of keeping his job wouldn’t be any better if no Democrats are on that list.  Further, many are saying atht the way the Democrats have scewed up, out there, McAuliffe doesn’t dare run anyone.

Let the Republicans inhert the mess the Democrats have left and try to pass the blame to them for it, too. Exactly what they tried on the national scene, with marginal success.

SANTA FE, N.M (Reuters) – A New Mexico family is suing their local Catholic church over a funeral Mass in which they claim a priest said their relative was only a middling Catholic and going straight to hell.

Oaaaaaayyyyyy … even if true (I doubt it) One what basis is this suit valid? Where is the seperation of church and state on this one? what law has been broken, here? I’ve written frequently of idiodic lawsuits frequently in the past But THIS is the capper.

Like everyone else, I’ve been pondering what to do about older drivers, after yesterday’s scene in Santa Monica.

The victims are of course in my thoughts and prayers. However, I do find myself also feeling sorry for the driver, 86 year old Russell Weller. Granted that he was at the wheel. But one could easily surmize we’re dealing with a minor stroke or something; I’d not be overly shocked if that wasn’t the report in another week or so, assuming he survives so long. (The emotional distress on the man is likely intense, and I wonder if he’s physically strong enough to bear up under it)

The knee jerk reaction on this kind of accident is to pull an FAA.. who has a manditory age restriction for some types of pilots.
I was interested to see Neal Boortz call for manditory testing for older drivers, since he’s a pilot.  I was also interested to see him comment:

Some arbitrary age is going to have to be set.  Make it 70 or 75.  From that point on require testing every two years until age 80.  Then you get tested every single year.

Interesting that he recently complained as regards the age limit on pilots being arbitrary. This seems an about face. I’m less than convinced that such testing will eliminate, or even limit such accidents; By all accounts, this was a sudden problem which would thereby not be picked up by such testing. 

And how does one grant driver’s licenses based on the chances for a heart attack, or a stroke, the likes of which seems the cause here?

WorldNetDaily.com is reporting today that at least one of the investigators is hsedding new light on Foster’s death, and the “Investigation” that followed.  I won’t comment more fully, yet. However, it does appear to me that there’s something to this one.

Democratic Senator Carl Levin is having a grand old time slamming the Bush Administration over the magic 16 words in the State of the Union speech. Levin is calling for an investigation of Bush’s claim that “The British government has learned that Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”

Waiting, but not exactly holding our breath.

Bootz and I often disagree. But this is NOT one of those times.

ABC’s website has a story up about reservists being unhappy in Iraq. Not shockingly, CNN ran the same story. But let’s look at the author of all of this, and see if there’s something behind it all, shall we?

The guy is Jeffrey Kofman. Who is he? Well, here’s ABC’s answer.

He has won several major Canadian journalism awards including the National Human Rights Award for a groundbreaking 1987 CBC documentary on AIDS discrimination.

Kofman began his television career at Global Television News in Toronto in 1982. He is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where he studied political science. He was born in Toronto

The CBC? Uh-oh.
AIDS discrimination? Whoopsie.

Hmmm. Sounds like…. Yep, he IS.
Militant homosexual, all the way.  AND Canadian?

So, just so we understand this clearly…. he’s native to a country that’s to the left of the US politically speaking, and within even that context, is among the farthest left.
And we’re supposed to accept this report about troop dissatifaction, as unbiased reporting?

Add all of this to people bitching on the line being the easiest thing in the world to get on tape…(give someone a chance and they’ll bitch about anything…) and you need to pose some very serious questions about this report, and the politcal values that are behind it.

Hey, ABC…. did you think we’d not notice?

To say they’re royally miffed doesn’t cut it. Why? Because so many Democrat candidates for President didn’t bother to show to their little shakedown session down in Miami. I had an idea this would be happening when I suggested some time ago that Sharpton would be the spoiler in this election. The DNC is taking blacks for granted again. And the DNC won’t figure it out until about 2007.

Oh, it’s true… Sharpton is a huckster and a sham, and the DNC has correctly identified him as such, and will not support him. At the same time, they don’t want to confront him for fear of being called anti-black.  Yet, they don’t want to be seen with him either. So the answer for most Democats is to avoid that type of venue altogether.  But Sharpton, frustrated by the lack of support, will claim racism in the DNC (One of the first times the man has told the truth in his life) and will use this as an excuse to go of on his own. Watch for Sharpton to break away from the Democrat party within the next six to nine months to run his own independant campign.

So it is that the Democrats will be a victim of their own ‘maybe it’ll go away’ politics of the Clinton years.

Laws, you see, don’t apply to those on the left. So, it makes sense that the ones farthest left are the ones to try and exempt themselves first. Fox news has a report.

Another part of the left is in money trouble. Everywhere the people have a choice, leftists are getting dumped.

Reuters is reporting that the profits at the Left-Leaning Paragraph Factory are down by 8%.

Gee. Wouldn’t have anything to do with their Leftist Agenda, do you suppose?

Dick Gephardt is done. His fund raising isn’t, reports the AP.
Even his fellow leftists, apparently don’t see him as having a chance in hell of winning.
