Education was once said to be experience reduced in time.   Nowadays, it might better be described as grievances reduced in time, from, via Legal Insurrection:

The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania is seeking to hire a new director to promote “feminist theories and knowledge” and “social justice theories” on campus, according to a job listing on Chronicle Vitae.

The new “Director of Cross Cultural Centers” will be tasked with managing the school’s Women’s Center, which is funded by the school’s $42,910 annual tuition. The director will be asked to “implement programs and initiatives on gender equity and social justice that incorporate feminist theories and best practices,” which include “identity development, social justice, and women’s leadership.”

Because social justice is intrinsic to the center’s mission, the director will also work alongside professors to “increase students’ understanding of feminist theories and knowledge” so that students are motivated to engage in “social justice action.”

These theories include ones such as “rape culture,” which posits that rape is so pervasive at colleges that one in five women will be victims of sexual assault, and “masculinity,” a feminist theory about how men are conditioned to adhere to “toxic” social roles.

Knowledge is not gendered. A fact is a fact.

Fact, men and women are different. Not different in the sense that one sex is better than the other, but rather just different. So explain how two populations, to wit male and female, who are different are equal. That is by what measure or set of measurements were used to base the theory that men and women are somehow equal?

Fact the concept of justice is a lovely idea. However it is neigh near impossible to explain. In court trial both the friends of the defendant and the victim will demand justice. Yet no matter what the outcome, one or both sides will will feel deprived. I am sure that in California v. Simpson, the defendant’s family felt that justice was served. The families of the late Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, not so much.

Moreover, how does the concept of social justice differ from the concept of justice? What is the measure of just and unjust outcomes? By whom are these measure to be established. Note, the Declaration of Independence proclaims that all men are created equal and entitled to certain right, among these are the pursuit of happiness. Not John Hancock et al only said men had the right to pursue happiness, and not that they had assurance of actually achieving it.

Aside from the theory that men and women are somehow equal, what is a feminist theory and how did it differ from a masculine theory? Further, how is feminist theory superior to masculine theory? Isaac Newton’s Laws of Motion has been superseded but are the basic for interplanetary navigation. What feminist theory can make a similar claim?

Do you see the problem? In supermarkets apples are so common that consumers are forced to buy oranges. “Rape culture,” which posits that rape is so pervasive at colleges that one in five women will be victims of sexual assault. The complaint is about an over abundance of apples, but the so-called evidence is an over abundance of oranges.

So a degree from the University of Scranton is evidence of what?   I say, a  waste of time and money.  What say you.

The National Rifle Association published a video in April calling the left out on their violence.   In May a demented supporter of Bernie Sanders attempted to assassinate several republican congressmen.   In late June, some leftards take notice and get mad.

Timeline, published on Apr 7, 2017

Dana Loesch says the left uses their media to assassinate real news, and their entertainers to repeat the false narrative over and over again. The only way to save our country and our freedom from their lies is to fight the violence with the clenched fist of truth. The National Rifle Association of America is Freedom’s

Video:

Timeline:  June 15, from AM New York:

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Congressman Steve Scalise, the No. 3 Republican in the House of Representatives, was in critical condition on Wednesday night after he and three others were shot as they practiced for a charity baseball game.

The gunman, who had posted angry messages against President Donald Trump and other Republicans on social media, opened fire on a group of Republican lawmakers and colleagues at a baseball field in Alexandria, Virginia, outside Washington. He was wounded in a gunfight with Capitol Hill police at the scene and later died.

Timeline:   two months after the NRA video was posted, and over a month since the attempted assassination of Representative Scalise elements of the fringe left decide to get mad at the NRA and Loesch. One Yesha Callahan writes in Root:

So, basically, the NRA thinks “they,” or the “left,” are violent, even though they’ve repeatedly referred to those on the left as basically having the fortitude of snowflakes.

So these violent snowflakes, the ones who are still waiting for the NRA to speak about the police killing of Philando Castile, and countless similar deaths at the hands of police officers, are the ones the NRA needs protection from. And NRA members need to protect themselves by arming themselves with guns.

Loesch didn’t merely call the left violent she used Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter video.   So speaking of video, or the lack thereof, where is video of Tea Party violence, from Wikipedia:

Reports of abusive behavior

There have been allegations of racism and abusive behavior by Tea Party protesters.[133][134][135][136][137]

On March 16, 2010, at a Tea Party protest at the Ohio offices of Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy, a counter-protester with Parkinson’s disease was berated by one of the protestors and had dollar bills thrown at him with additional protesters also mocking the individual.[138] The man initially denied the incident, but later apologized for his “shameful” actions.[137]

On March 20, 2010, it was reported that protesters against proposed health care legislation used racial and anti-gay slurs. Gay Congressman Barney Frank was called “homo” and a “faggot several times.”[139][140][141] Several black lawmakers said demonstrators shouted the N-word at them.[142]

The Tea Party’s alleged crimes, include calling Barney Faq a homo and directing the n-word at some black congressmen. No record of how long Congressman John Lewis was in intensive care.

If Lying Lizzie, b/k/a Elizabeth Warren, is so intent on a single payer health care rationing system, I insist she be the first, and last, to sign up, from Sun(UK):

The appalling statistic heaped pressure on Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt to come to the aid of the crisis-ravaged NHS.

AT LEAST two Brits a day are dying of thirst or starvation in our hospitals and care homes.

Out of sight … patients are being “forgotten to death” in a social care scandal that sparked nationwide fury last night

[…]

Malnutrition was mentioned on the death certificates of 297 patients who died in hospital during 2015, while dehydration was cited on 429.

[…]

Across the year, an average of two patients died either malnourished or dehydrated every day.

Ian Mack, whose dad died from dehydration in hospital in 2008, said: “He was absolutely forgotten to death.”

Denying water to patients in the UK is not a bug. Rather it is a feature, from Wikipedia:

The Liverpool Care Pathway for the Dying Patient (LCP) was a UK care pathway (excluding Wales) covering palliative care options for patients in the final days or hours of life. It was developed to help doctors and nurses provide quality end-of-life care. Now discredited, the LCP was widely abused as a ‘tick box exercise’, with patients being casually assessed as terminal, heavily sedated, and denied water so the diagnosis became self-fulfilling. Hospitals were also provided cash incentives to achieve targets for the number of patients dying on the LCP.[1]

[…]

While the initial reception was positive, it was heavily criticised in the media in 2009 and 2012 following the practical application by Liverpool Community Health care staff. In July 2013, the Department of Health released a statement which stated the use of the LCP should be “phased out over the next 6-12 months and replaced with an individual approach to end of life care for each patient”.[2] However, The Telegraph reported that the program was just rebranded and that its supposed replacement would “perpetuate many of its worst practices, allowing patients to suffer days of dehydration, or to be sedated, leaving them unable to even ask for food or drink.”

If government assigned physician deems that you are dying and then denies you water, you will surely die.

It is no shock that the Clinton News Network, CNN, uses slightly less sock puppets than Mrs. Clinton Clinton’s various presidential campaigns.   So lets hear from CNN’s newest sock puppet:

(CNN)Sesame Street’s Elmo says refugee kids are just like kids everywhere.
“They like to play and learn just like Elmo and all his friends at Sesame street” he said during a Facebook Live interview with CNN on Monday.

The 3 1/2-year-old Sesame street character visited a refugee camp in Jordan back in February, and described the trip as “really wonderful because Elmo got to meet a lot of new friends.”

Only on Clinton News Network can a figurative three and half year old character be pawned off as an expert.

Nobody tell the ‘rats, but they are losing.    Little Donny, b/k/a President Donald Trump had a big day.

Item Supreme Court bitch slaps Ninth and Fourth Circuits and rules the Little Donny’s travel ban is not a Muslim ban.   Professor William Jacobson:

“Nine Justices agreed on this. Nobody said the 4th and 9th Circuit injunctions should continue in full force and effect. Not a single Justice said that. The only question was how much of a slap down they were going to give to the 4th and 9th Circuits, and I think they gave a substantial one….”

CAIR hit hard, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad:

“Today’s decision by the Supreme Court ignores the anti-Muslim bigotry that is at the heart of the travel ban executive orders and will inevitably embolden Islamophobes in the administration to expand efforts to target the Muslim community with unconstitutional and counterproductive policies. It also ignores the almost-unanimous rejection of the Muslim ban by lower courts due to its religious intolerance and racial animus.

“While the court continued blocking those parts of the Muslim ban that would prevent entry for anyone with a ‘credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States,’ it has opened the door to legal chaos and official overreach in embassies and at the border.

“We will work with our civil rights partners to offer a legal and legislative response as the Muslim ban moves forward on the ground and in the Supreme Court.”

Item, no Russian there, there:

A producer for CNN admitted in a newly released undercover spy video that President Trump is “probably right” in accusing his opponents of engaging in a witch hunt as it relates to collusion with Russia.

The video, published online Monday night by conservative sting activist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas website, shows John Bonifield, a CNN producer who covers medical issues, saying, “I just feel like they really don’t have it [proof of collusion] but they want to keep digging.”

Item, CNN retreats on fake Russian News:

CNN is changing its rules for covering Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election, and enhancing publishing restrictions for online stories, in the wake of a retracted story published on Thursday.

BuzzFeed obtained an email sent to CNN employees Saturday morning that stated no one at the network can publish “any content involving Russia without coming” to Rich Barbieri, the CNNMoney executive, or a CNN vice president.

Little Donny is winning and Obamatards like Susan Rice, James Comey and Loretta Lynch should be looking to retain lawyers.

News flash, the senior senator from New York, and Senate Minority Leader,  Charles “Chuckles” Schumer (D – NY) is a liar.

But first, from Daily Caller:

The University of Delaware has sacked Katherine Dettwyler, the taxpayer-funded professor who declared that Otto Warmbier was a “spoiled,” “white, rich, clueless” American college student who “got exactly what he deserved” when he recently ended up comatose and then died at the age of 22 after serving part of a lengthy prison sentence in North Korea.

Now granted the late Otto Warmbier was a naive petty criminal. Further, grant that former Professor Katherine Dettwyler was only referring to Warmblier imprisonment, a fifteen year at hard labor, and not to his probable murder by North Korea. how does anybody deserve fifteen years for stealing a poster? Professor Dettwyler, have you no shame?

The late Mr. Warmbier it can be argued tried to undermine the unelected government of North Korea.    Meanwhile back in the swamp, a/k/a Washington D.C.  Senator Chuckles  tried to undermine the duly elected President of the United States, from Byron York, Washington Examiner:

Fast forward to March. The Russia controversy had grown, not diminished. On March 9, [James] Comey briefed the so-called Gang of Eight — Mitch McConnell, Schumer, Paul Ryan and Nancy Pelosi, plus the chair and ranking member of both House and Senate intelligence committees. On March 15, Comey briefed Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Grassley and top committee Democrat Dianne Feinstein. Comey told them all that Trump was not under investigation.

[…]

But then the next day, March 21, Schumer, who had been briefed by Comey on March 9 that the president was not under investigation, took to the floor of the Senate. He called on lawmakers to delay the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch until the Russia matter was resolved. Republicans held up former President Barack Obama’s court choice for nearly a year, Schumer said, but “are now rushing to fill the seat for a president whose campaign is under investigation by the FBI.”

Schumer appeared to be speaking carefully; he said Trump’s campaign was under investigation. But then he became much less careful with his words. “You can bet if the shoe were on the other foot and a Democratic president was under investigation by the FBI, the Republicans would be howling at the moon about filling a Supreme Court seat in such circumstances,” Schumer said.

So by Professor Dettwyler logic, such as it is, what fate should befall Senator Chuckles?

Ah, the confusion of Stink Progress.

So by suggesting that Comey was recorded in those conversations forced this known liar to tell the truth? And Stink progress is actually complaining about this?

I’m beginning to believe actual cognitive thought is beyond these animals.

And how much of this was government money?

Do you understand the problem yet?

Well, at least they won’t admit it to anybody if they have.

From a contact of mine who lives in GA6:

“….his ENTIRE campaign was built on the “lie” that Ossoff was a anti-Washington, anti-waste “outsider” who would save tax dollars and reform Washington – and when he was advertising to the conservative white radio stations in town, he NEVER mentioned he was even a democrat, had worked for a democrat Congressman, or got his original money selling videos for ISIS-Arabic TV! On the black/jive/rap/jazz stations, he promoted racism and the democrat agenda non-stop….”

They’ve been trying to position this as a referendum on Trump. Particularly the national media has been doing this.

Of course they’re tuned changed once Ossoff got his backside handed to him.

But…Remember, I’ve been saying this all along… that Donald Trump did not win because he’s Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton lost because she’s Hillary Clinton…Although Donald Trump winning while being probably the least qualified candidate in GOP history should have given them a clue.

And if you look closely at the kind of advertising he did in the district as listed above, you might actually come to the conclusion the they already know what their problem is… But can’t deal with it very effectively for fear of alienating their Looney Tune Base.

davidl on June 22nd, 2017

What cost the ‘rats their chance to win GA-6, from Daily Beast:

In the end, the high-profile special election in Georgia’s 6th District was a referendum on Nancy Pelosi, not Donald Trump.

The numbers bear this out. According to The Washington Post’s James Hohman, “Pelosi was a huge drag on Jon Ossoff. Internal GOP polling showed she had 98 percent name ID, was 35 points underwater.”

There’s also this: Ossoff backed off Trump (for fear of offending Republicans he would presumably need), while Republicans were 100 percent committed to linking Ossoff to Pelosi.

From AZ Quotes:

Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program

Pass the bill to find out what’s in it

Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.

San Fran Nan has represented San Francisco what since Andy Jackson was President.   She represents the Left Coast well.  Fly Over Country, not so much.  May Speaker Tablecloth out live and out serve the late Strom Thurmond

I really don’t think the title of this is tremendously accurate. I think it would be far more accurate to say that this was a referendum on Democrats.

As I’ve been saying for months now this is not about Donald Trump. This is about the Democrats and always has been.
And make no mistake about this to Hollywood left was pouring in millions of dollars. This is in fact the most expensive house race in American history. Yet despite spending all that money, the Democrats still couldn’t sell their Wares.
The question of the Democrats becomes America asking… “Can you hear us now?”

Give me the reactions I’m seeing this morning and I’d say you had to leave the answer is probably not.

Noticed this passage in a discussion on Facebook yesterday and I think it deserves mention here… For all of the noise being made by the left in the anti-police antagonists for some reason they never got around to mentioning this particular tidbit…

?”No criminal record”, the class-warfare-instigating meme breezily lies, omitting a very important word, “serious” (i.e., as in felony). According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, “…Court and driver records show Castile was pulled over or ticketed at least 52 times in Minnesota since 2002, with 86 total misdemeanor or petty misdemeanor counts. More than half of the 86 violations were dismissed, court records show. He had no serious criminal record….”
(Source)

Oh and by the way, the dashboard video has been released and basically dispels the lies being put up by the left over this.

Now of course this is not going to do anything to Halt the screaming coming from The Usual Suspects. They are very seldom affected by facts anymore unfortunately.

At this stage of the game it’s a race to see who will end up in the financial sewer first. California who was the odds-on favorite and now Illinois.

Facing billions in unpaid bills and pension obligations, the state is hitting a cash crunch that is rare even by Illinois standards.

A top financial official just warned 100 percent of the state’s monthly revenue will be eaten up by court-ordered payments. Rauner is calling a special session of the Democrat-led General Assembly in a bid to pass what he hopes will be the first full budget package in almost three years.

Both California and Illinois are ofcourse being run by …Guess Who?
Oh, and by the way…. How do you have a monopoly on a lottery and not be able to turn a profit with it?

The obvious answer is have government-run the thing.

In the name of the NFL Washington Redskins offensive?   Yes, to some.  Does the federal government has the right to band names that offend some?   No.   So saith the Supreme Court, 8-0, via Power Line. Justice Alito et al:

[The idea that the government may restrict] speech expressing ideas that offend. . .strikes at the heart of the First Amendment. Speech that demeans on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other similar ground is hateful; but the proudest boast of our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom to express “the thought that we hate.”

Justice Kennedy et al:

A law that can be directed against speech found offensive to some portion of the public can be turned against minority and dissenting views to the detriment of all. The First Amendment does not entrust that power to the government’s benevolence. Instead, our reliance must be on the substantial safeguards of free and open discussion in a democratic society.

God given rights, free speech, trump special snowflake sensitivities, at least for now.

Interesting. The same people that are trying to convince us that the islamists beheading people do not truly represent Islam are the same people trying to convince us that that moron in Alexandria doesn’t truly represent Bernie Sanders supporters.
