Agents for the tax payer funded murder for profit organization, confronted Carly Fiorina in Iowa, from ABC News:

Planned Parenthood protesters threw condoms at Carly Fiorina today while she campaigned at a tailgate party for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The protesters, some of whom were affiliated with the women’s health group and others who were supporters, were dressed in pink and waved pink pom-poms as they followed the Republican presidential candidate around the tailgate, chanting “Carly Fiorina offsides for telling lies” and “women are watching and we vote.”

Video:

Hat tip video: Legal Insurrection.

Much of what Planned Parenthood does has nothing to do with women’s health. Killing a born human being is not protecting a women’s health. It is murder.

Then don’t believe me, listen to Carly, video:

I like this woman. She fights.

Hat tip video and reax, William A. Jacobson, Legal Insurrection:

Fiorina facing down the protester reminds me of when Ted Cruz did a similar thing to a Code Pink protester over the Iran nuclear deal.

Republicans want someone who will fight, and will overlook some policy differences or past policies infractions to get a fighter. That in part explains the Trump phenomenon, and it explains Ted Cruz’s popularity (with him you get the fight without the policy problems).

I like Bill linking Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. It sounds like a winning ticket to me. It may put the lame streamers out of the ambush journalism business. These guys fire back.

It strikes me as more than a little strange that the Democrats who booed God at their convention just a short while ago, now make all kinds of noise about embracing and welcoming the Pope.

Then again, his speech before Congress contained no mention whatsoever of Jesus Christ. So, maybe it’s not so strange after all.

And should I mention that speech occurred as a result of a personal invitation from John Boehner? Interesting, that the Pope who has been embracing world socialism in all of its ugliness would be invited to speak before Congress by a Republican.

Then again, given the overt accommodations to the left John Boehner’s been providing the last number of years, that’s not so strange, either.

The United Nations has updated the meme of Two Chickens in Every Pot.   Needless to say, the UN has no chickens, or at least any which she willing to part.   Instead the plan calls for a massive chicken tax, from National Regime Public Radio:

At the United Nations General Assembly this weekend in New York, U.N. member states are set to adopt the new Sustainable Development Goals. The goals are meant to guide development priorities around the globe over the next 15 years. Critics and supporters alike are declaring them to be highly ambitious — maybe even too ambitious.

In related news, Bitsblog announces an ambitious plan to build a step ladder to the Moon.  The project will commence as soon as we acquire some lumber.  Aw those pesty details.

[Mrs.] Clinton is not a viewer of Girls, a popular HBO series that chronicles the lives of 20-something women making their way in Brooklyn, but her communications aide Kristina Schake said: “Hillary was drawn to Lena’s unique voice, dynamic talent and strong commitment to women’s rights. Hillary and Lena had a strong connection, which comes through in this intimate, engaging interview.”

To be fair, it is Mrs. Clinton’s better half, B.J., who seems to prefer children.

Nothing inspires voter confidence than looking like a sock puppet, from Edward Klein:

The talk in Democratic Party circles is that Barack Obama has told Joe Biden that he is prepared to endorse him for president if, in return, Biden promises to let Obama have a final say in the choice of his vice presidential running mate.

According to these Democratic sources, Biden is mulling over the president’s conditional offer of support.

[…]

In this scenario, which Obama has not yet fully explained to Biden, Biden would promise to serve only one term in the White House, after which he would back his vice president to succeed him.

As Biden’s vice president, Obama is said to favor former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, a close Obama ally who is the first and only African American to have served as governor of the Bay State.

Yet more evidence that Carly is right and big government is incompetent. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) vaunted emissions testing is worthless, and to the the private sector to find it, from Richard Weiss and Naomi Kresge, Bloomberg Business:

Volkswagen AG lost almost a quarter of its market value after it admitted to cheating on U.S. air pollution tests for years, putting pressure on Chief Executive Officer Martin Winterkorn to fix the damaged reputation of the world’s biggest carmaker.

[…]

During normal driving, the cars with the software — known as a “defeat device” — would pollute 10 times to 40 times the legal limits, the EPA estimated. The discrepancy emerged after the International Council on Clean Transportation commissioned real-world emissions tests of diesel vehicles including a Jetta and Passat, then compared them to lab results.

Point to ponder, Jazz Shaw, Hot Air:

Exit question: how likely is it that the geniuses at VW and Audi were the only ones to dream this up? This sounds like the sort of thing that a group of engineers might assume was never going to be found out because who is going around doing extra testing of vehicle emissions outside of an inspection station? (In fact, I’m still wondering how the EPA caught on to this unless VW had a disgruntled whistle blower among their ranks.) Are the big, American automakers scrambling right now to cover their own code?

If Shaw is right, did VW do anything illegal?

Can VW diesels meet EPA emissions requirements, still perform as advertised and as their customers expect?  Will a neutered VW even be worth driving?

Were those darned German engineers the only ones to read the actual regulations and take advantage of them?   Does the scope of the problem over VW diesels, VWs, or all cars sold say in the last ten years?

Was VW the only company cheating, or the only not to pay hush money to the ICCT?

Last, what will be the EPA’s primary motive, protect the environment, or their tattered reputation?

If Congress investigates, expect the usual regime stonewalling.

The regime is mad because La Donald, a/k/a Donald Trump, is not doing their job, from the Voice of the Regime America:

U.S. Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is causing controversy yet again, this time for failing to correct a supporter who called President Barack Obama a Muslim and a foreigner.

If the regime has evidence that Mr. Obama is in fact a Christian, have one of their political operative, otherwise known as the White House press corps, ask the planted question of White House spokesman Josh Earnest, and see if anybody outside the media falls for it.

As for Mr. Obama’s impersonation of a Christian, I find it unconvincing. Any you?

Reax, from Right Scoop:

Look, Obama is a liar and has been exposed as a liar. Megyn Kelly herself has exposed many of his lies on her show. Why so quick to believe he’s a Christian when he lies about everything else? Isn’t it possible that he lied about being a Christian to get elected? Oh of course not…that would make Megyn Kelly a racist to believe that or even to muse about it.

I find Mr. Trump’s answer to the Muslim question, inept, clumsy and ham fist.   I suggest in the future, Mr. Trump reply with the stock answer, “The answer to that question is above my pay grade.”

As for Voice of American insistence that Mr. Obama is a Christian, ask them for  their evidence, if they have any.   Further, does VOA have any evidence that the questioner was in fact a supporter of Mr. Trump and not a plant from Mrs. Clinton’s campaign?

So question, how did Dim Won, b/k/a President Barack Obama, famous for not knowing anything until he reads about it in the New York Times, know that one Ahmed Mohamed, was Muslim and detained by Irving Texas police for bringing what seemed to look like a bomb to school and immediately arrange for a White House visit?  From Erick Erickson, Red State

Let’s admit up front that it is stupid that a ninth grader got arrested for making a clock and bringing it to school. They thought it was a bomb. I will not imply motives to the kid bringing his cool invention to school. I would note, however, it was a government school and we can probably further indict public schools for it.\

[…]

This story is staged. The cops overreached, but it all played out according to someone’s plan.

This smells like another Islamic dry run, ala the shoe bomber.

I must note that the Irving school acted like total and utter fools. They declared that Mohamed looked like a bomb, but the school never acted like the device was a bomb. The proper response to a bomb threat is evacuate the building and not to confiscate the so-called bomb.

Addendum:   Mohamed may not have built a bomb, but did not build a clock.   Rather he repackaged a old Radio Shack clock, from Anthony, Art Voice.   It seems Mohamed’s device was more intended to resemble a bomb than actually tell time, as it seems to have no actual display.

La Donald, Donald Trump, gave a campaign speech from a relic early Twentieth  Century military thinking, the USS Iowa (BB-61)   In yesterday’s debate, Carly Fiorina demonstrated Twenty First Century warfare, the OODA loop*, video:

The USS Iowa in now a museum, and a museum is fitting place for Mr. Trump.

Carly FiorinaIn reference to Mrs. Clinton’s infamous Three AM campaign ad, when the scat hits the fan at Three in the Morning, you do not want a president, who has put his his readers to see the teleprompter, email her chief of staff to ask for talking points, or mistakes bluster or intellect. Carly turned on dime, and smacked both Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton right between their eyes.

I can only hope that John Podhorets is right, from New York Post:

So the question after the second Republican debate is this: Will it take a week for Carly Fiorina to sit atop the GOP polls, or will it take two weeks? Because after Wednesday night’s debate, it’s going to happen.

People have been wondering for a while what event was going to slow down or reverse the rise of Donald Trump, since his candidacy appeared to glide through the potholes that have caused others like him and before him to crash and burn.

My comments as regards the Republicans in the race are postponed for 24 hours while I absorb the festival of idiocy on CNN this evening. As to that, I offer the following.

It amazes me the number of GOP establishment candidates not a blessed one of which had a single clue as to Reagan’s ideas, his motivations, or his popularity, are still trying to claim his mantle 30 years later.

Does John Kasich forget that it was the GOP establishment who kept him out in 76 and was none too happy about him getting the nomination in the next cycle, to the point where they arranged for Bush to be vice president because they thought the ticket needed balance because they thought Reagan too conservative?

Let’s not wonder any longer why it is that the GOP establishment is no longer credible to the GOP rank and file. John Kasich has just demonstrated it for us

Addendum:  (DavidL)  Amen!  John Kasich reminds me my least favorite so-called republican candidate from 2012, to wit John Huntsman, Jr.  Both want to replace Dim Won, a/k/a President Barack Obama, but are unable or unwilling to distinguish themselves from him.   If  you want four more years of Obama, your candidate is Joe Biden, a/k/a the Village Idiot.

Eric Florack on September 16th, 2015

Like most other people, I’ve been watching with dry amusement the disintegration of the presidential campaign of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Personally, I can’t help but wonder how much of this destruction will be happening with the directives coming from the White House. Proof? Not as yet, but personally I can’t imagine a lot of this stuff going down without some serious help.

Certainly, there is no love lost between the Obama wing of the party and the Clintonistas. Irony abounds, here. In my view it’s the first time since attaining the office that Obama and company are actually serving the interests of the American people.

It’s clear that just about everybody with a pulse that she’s not going to get the nomination, and even if she did there’s no way in the world should have been able to attain the White House. It’s really too bad she’s not going to get the nomination, because it would guarantee a Republican victory in the next election.

Be that as it may, and as a result of that disintegration, we now have the spectacle of Bernie Sanders leading the pack for the Democrat nomination. I have no doubt whatsoever that there has always been a faction within the Democrat Party, indeed upwards of 40%, who want to see an outright socialist in the top slot. That said, its not my perception that Bernie Sanders will never attain the majority of Democrat primary voters. Since Hillary Clinton, who now has 40% of Democrat voters in her corner, and who would never vote for somebody along the lines of a Sanders, he won’t achieved that goal either, and even if assuming they managed by some outright miracle to achieve the Democrat nomination, will never make it in the general, we now have a question of who will take over that top slot.

Which in turn leads us the spectacle of Joe Biden looking to be the likely nominee. At the moment, there is nobody else that’s even close to achieving the kind of popularity that would be required for such a feat.

image

But given that Biden was considered even by most Democrats to be the resident town fool as recently as a few months ago, one really must wonder about the frustration in the mind of the average Democrat voter these days.

Now putting this all together, what this scenario reveals is just how weak the Democrats are, how thin their bench is. Barring somebody else getting into the race, let’s say a John Kerry for example, this is the way it’s going to ride out till the end. Would such a latecomer have a chance? Doubtful.

So….

Barring the Republicans not coming up with an actual conservative to put in the top slot before the end of the primary season, this is the GOPs race to lose.

That said, it’s absolutely crucial that the Republicans come up with a real conservative, and there’s a couple running right now. And I’ll address that scenario in tomorrow’s notes.

Is this new attempt at humor, from Mrs Clinton?   From Mrs. Clinton’s Tweeter,

“To every survivor of sexual assault…You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We’re with you.”

Who we, Paleface?*

[*]  To any reader not in on the very old joke.

Addendum I:   Mrs. Clinton maybe old, but apparently she never went to high school.  She put her message in a campaign video:

James Carville was not available for comment.

Addendum II,   Mrs Clinton has certainly created a target rich environment.   Among those taking aim is one Kathleen Willey, who says of Mrs Clinton:

“She believed what happened for sure,” Willey tells The American Mirror. “She just chose to ignore the plight of all of his victims, thus enabling him to continue to abuse and rape women in the future.”

Willey adds, “She’s a money-hungry hypocritical witch who will do anything for money.

“She’s a lying pig. I CANNOT believe that she had the gall to make that commercial. How dare she? I hope she rots in hell.”

Remember according to Mrs Clinton, when Ms Willey calls her a “lying pig”, Ms Willey must be believed.

And one final shot, remember when Mrs Clinton was called “The Smartest Woman in the World?”

Bernie Sanders ( Socialist – Vermont) tried his hand at playing a Christian, and it did not go very well, from Columbus Dispatch:

“It would be hard to make the case that we are a just society or anything resembling a just society today,” Sanders said at the influential Christian college that usually draws Republican presidential candidates.

“In the United States of America today, there is massive injustice in terms of income and wealth inequality.”

Bernie, you mean the United States is economically unjust as opposed to say your ideal of Cuba? In every economic system, someone decides who gets the wealth. In a market economy, it the consumer who decides who gets the fruits of their labors. In a socialist economy, it the political ruling class which decides who gets the fruits of your labor, and the first thing any political ruling class does is make themselves rich, at your expense.

As for Sanders, he had no problem fattening at the public trough as Senator. I have scant reason to believe that making him president would make an honest man out of him, from National Public Radio:

The Sanders household took in more than $205,000 in 2014, and paid the feds nearly $28,000 in taxes — an effective rate of about 20 percent based on Sanders’ taxable income of $141,000. That means they likely earned more than 95 percent of Americans, according to the most recent data available from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Members of the ruling class, such as Sanders, may talk about economic redistribution, but they have utterly no intention of redistributing any of their money.

It would be nice to say the barbarians are at the gates, but they have already stormed past the gates,   The scat has hit the fan.   Like the United States, unscreened, unassimilated criminals aliens are on the move to welfare havens.   The political and  media class say welcome.   The imposed upon taxpayer, not so much.   Politicians on both sides of the oceans need to pull their heads out their anal cavities and start protecting their sovereign citizens and national boarders, from Daily Mail (UK):

Islamic_Invasion_map_EuropeGermany has allowed 450,000 refugees in so far this year and has been praised for the warm welcome it has afforded to migrants.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has defended the decision to let in the huge numbers, saying she was ‘convinced it was right’.

But in recent weeks this has inflamed tensions, with the far-right taking an increasingly hostile stand to the thousands of migrants entering the country.

Last week, a three-storey house in the neat village of Gerstungen, in Thuringia, was firebombed by far-right protesters after it was revealed it had been opened to some of the 800,000 refugees set to enter Germany this year.

This year there have been 306 attacks on refugee accommodations – 46 of them torchings such as the one in the eastern state of Thuringia. Nine of them have been in the past fortnight alone.

Tens of thousands of people took part in a ‘day of action’ yesterday in several European cities – and in Australia – in support of refugees and migrants. However some cities also saw ugly counter-demonstrations.

Europe does not need any more Islamic invaders, and neither does the United States, from Bloomberg Politics:

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich said he supports President Barack Obama’s plan to admit at least 10,000 Syrian refugees to the U.S. over the next year.

“I support that,” Kasich, governor of Ohio, said on Fox News Sunday, adding “It’s very important that we don’t let anybody infiltrate who’s part of a radical group. But America needs to be part of this solution.”

The U.S. also could provide logistical support and humanitarian aid, Kasich said.

Man up John, or back to Ohio. I care not which.

Meanwhile, from Kate, Small Dead Animals, video:

Granted the video has been edited, but more than a few Brits are clearly feed up with the liberal-media open door policy on accepting human trash.   If Donald Trump is the only politician with the balls to oppose  this invasion, sobeit.
