The Duke faux rape case rages anew. Seems like old times again, Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty, and David Evans having been falsely charged with rape and exonerated, have now been alleged to be guilty of something, if any being white, from Dorothy Rabinowitz, A Dishonest Rewrite of the Duke Lacrosse Case:
In the outpouring of praise for William D. Cohan’s new book “The Price of Silence”—a work, remarkably enough, being celebrated as a model of evenhandedness, scrupulous objectivity, etc.—one essential has gone overlooked. Namely, the central point of this tale about the Duke lacrosse case and accusations against three players of rape and assault at a house party. It takes no close reading to see that the book is meant to recast the story so as to nullify the outcome Americans thought they knew—that the players were exonerated and had been falsely accused. In Mr. Cohan’s portrayal, the workings of decency and justice were undone by malign forces—among them, it would seem, the ability to hire defense attorneys.
As in all things Durham, my first instinct is to read K.C. Johnson, Durham-in-Wonderland:
Rabinowitz Eviscerates Author Cohan
In the Monday edition of the Wall Street Journal, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Dorothy Rabinowitz has thoroughly taken apart the arguments of author William D. Cohan, as expressed in both Cohan’s book and his myriad interviews. In addition to winning the award, Rabinowitz also had been a Pulitzer finalist for her extraordinary commentary on prosecutorial misconduct and the conviction of the innocent.
Crystal Gail Mangum, the former stripper whore turned convicted murderess is black. The three railroaded former lacrosse players are white. I guess white privilege mean there guilty of something, even if Cohan does not know of what.
Addendum: Clarification, Eric found the Dorothy Rabinowitz piece. I picked it up wrote the post.

I told you guys this was going to happen.
Hmmm. Seems a credibility issue, here.
Sanity Checking The National Climate Assessment Report Against Real Data Reveals Major Discrepancies
We are being lied to by the ‘global warming’ crowd.
Its that simple, that direct.
The whole thing has been a lie since day one.
Couple of interesting notes from around the horn today.
The first comes from comments made by Karl Rove.
“Thirty days in the hospital?” he asked. “And when she reappears, (at the Benghazi hearing) she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
Now, there’s one of two things about that. Either she faked that concussion, and was milking it so she’d have an easier time at the Benghazi hearing… Or, Rove is correct, here, and there is in fact a physical problem. Either way, the battleship Clinton is taking on some serious water.:
Now, unreported, was the comment from Bill Clinton… which came as a part of an accusation against Rove…
They went to all this trouble to say that she had staged what was a terrible concussion that required six months of very serious work to get over.
….oddly proving that Rove was correct.
The second from Mike McCurry.
“The work she is doing through the Clinton Foundation with her husband and her daughter she finds terrifically rewarding . . . we all know what running for president is like. It’s kind of hanging around in Manchester, N.H., and Otumwa, Iowa, at the local Denny’s shaking hands with a lot of sometimes less-than-interesting local political people.
“So she is going to do that for the next 2½ years at the age of 65 when she could be doing all this great stuff on a global stage? I don’t know. I think that’s why she hasn’t said ‘I’m doing it.'”
Now, one can easily assume that McCurry is operating on info the rest ous haven’t got. He doesn’t come right out and say she’s got a problem, but given the way we had to parse everything coming out of the Clinton White House, its not hard to imagine an iceberg like mountain under the comments you can see. He’s clearly expressing concerns over facts the rest of us are not officially privy to.
Either way, this is going to come up again, and with some force, should she decide to try running again.
(Edit…. removing stray blockquote flags)
Two major fitness for office pointers, even before any political issues at all are brought forward. And most certainly, she is a target rich environment in the political. But do these questions completely disqualify her?
Professor Althouse asks:
“Should Paid ‘Menstrual Leave’ Be a Thing?”
“Some countries mandate a legal right to leave for women during their periods. Is that reverse sexism or the right thing to do?”
Alas no! Basing policy on obvious biological differences between the two sexes would permanently harm the fairer sex’s feelings
See Robert Stacy McCain:
Did Mrs. Clinton suffer (does suffers) from a traumatic brain injury? It sure looks like she did, from Daily Mail (UK):
A prominent New York ophthalmologist believes that a special pair of glasses worn by former former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are the type used to treat the double vision sometimes caused by severe head trauma.
In an interview with Fox News, Dr. Marc Werner said the glasses had a Fresnel prism.
‘In order to see one object, your eyes need to be pointed in the same direction. If your eyes are misaligned, one way to optically align them is to put a prism … on your glasses,’ he said.
Can Mrs. Clinton see straight to clear up this question?
Professor Jacobson must remember the joker we elected governor of New York. so he links excerpts from the Idaho primary debate, video:
Reax and regale defense, Clayton Cramer:
The May 15, 2014 Daily Mail covers the Idaho governor’s Republican primary debate, and has great fun feeling superior to us. You might get the impression that Idaho is filled crazy fools from reading this. It was a clever strategy of Gov. Otter to insist that all the fringe candidates be invited — it distracted attention from his only serious opposition, Russ Fulcher,
All we have in New York for governor is a recycled Cuomo. But don’t blame me. I voted for Paladino.
Allinsky believes that one way at attack the establishment is to make them live by their own rules. In the lame stream print media, the Pinch Sulzberger and his New York Times are the establishment. After being the flag ship for the liberal wholly concocted war-on=women, Pinch finds himself on ground zero. Pinch fired his former executive editor Jill Abramson for refusing to work for a smaller compensation package than the man she replace.
Hat tip and more, Patterico’s Pontifications.
Drip, drip, drip.
Does anyone doubt it goes far deeper than this?

B.J. Clinton, the disgraced ex-president with no medical degree, vouches for the health of his estranged wife, video:
Story:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday his wife Hillary took six months to recover from a 2012 concussion, adding she is now “stronger than I am” as he dismissed GOP strategist Karl Rove’s comments about her health.
“I got to give him credit, you know, that embodies that old saying that ‘consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds,'” Bill Clinton said at a Washington conference. “First they said she faked her concussion. And now they say she’s auditioning for a part on ‘The Walking Dead.'”
For those readers keeping score at home, Clinton is the same person who vouched in a court of of law that he never had sex with that Miss Lewinsky.

Here again, everyone but Fox is trying to minimize Tea Party victories.
The GOP still as of the moment still not learned its lesson.

I was unaware that the primary task of the AG was to protect the administration from the consequences of its policies and agenda.
Can Mrs. Clinton live long enough to survive inauguration? Do you find the question prosperous? Think about it, the ‘rats have long history of running dying men for the presidency. Franklin Roosevelt and John Kennedy lied about their health to win election. Now Karl Rove has suggested that Mrs. Clinton will need to make her medical records public. In response, Camp Clinton is screaming bloody murder. Details, Professor Ann Althouse:
A Hillary spokesperson reacts to Karl Rove’s planting of doubts about the soundness of Hillary’s brain. Here’s what Rove said:
“Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
I notice how overstated the reaction is — “no words for this level of lying”? What part is the lie? Was Rove wrong about the number of days in the hospital? (I think he was.) Clearly, she came out wearing some special glasses. Was Rove wrong in his characterization of the glasses?
Remember, the closer you get to the truth with Mrs. Clinton, the louder she screams.
