Ponder the level of intelligence required to come up with something like this.

“Tell Local Radio Stations to Stop Playing the Song ‘White Christmas’ as it is Insulting to People of Color and Perpetuates the Idea That Being White is Automatically A Positive Attribute in Our Society,” the petition stated. The fake petition received 18 signatures in about an hour, according to MRCTV.

Now ponder the same wiz kids wondering why in the world they can’t get a job that doesn’t involve the question “do you want fries with that”?

Now for the bonus round. Ponder these mental midgets in the voting booth helping to decide your future.

Clinton_Hillary_pretty_in_orangeMinnesota, the most recent front line for the liberal War on America, or  maybe the business owners of the Mall of America shops did not make a sufficiently large contributions to Mrs.  Clinton’s campaign, or was that the Clinton Global Initiative, no difference,  from Associated Press:

A Minnesota judge is expected to rule on the Mall of America’s request to keep protesters from demonstrating there on the busy shopping day before Christmas Eve.

The Mall of America is private property.  Why do the owners need the permission of a judge to protect their god given rights?

Judge Karen Janisch is expected to rule Tuesday on the mall’s request for a temporary restraining order.

Black Lives Matter organizers plan to rally at the mall Wednesday to protest the death of Jamar Clark, who was shot by Minneapolis police Nov. 15 and later died. Police have said he was shot during a struggle, but some say Clark was handcuffed.

Shades of “Hands up don’t shoot.”

On Monday, protesters vowed to hold their protest regardless of Janisch’s ruling.

Did you expect liberals to actually respect the rule of law?

Last year, a similar Christmas-time demonstration attracted thousands and forced the temporary closure of mall stores. Dozens of people were arrested. The mall is private property and doesn’t allow demonstrations.

Do expect the lame stream media to attempt to hold liberal politicians like Mrs. Clinton responsible for the actions of their front groups?   Minnesota is solidly liberal.   If Mrs.  Clinton will not speak up for private property rights in Minnesota,  outside of Chappaquidic,  I don’t expect to ever defend personal property rights.  Do you?

Why is the Obama regime so hell bent on depriving law abiding citizens their constitution rights?   From Washington Free Beacon:

In his Oval Office address Sunday, Obama called again for more gun control measures, including denying people on the no-fly list from purchasing guns, a view even the Los Angeles Times editorial board finds untenable. Also, a recent claim by Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) that no recent mass shootings would have been prevented by new gun legislation was rated “True” by the Washington Post fact-checker.

The only known success of the No-Fly List was to have prevented the late Senator Oldsmobile, nee Kennedy, from hijacking an airliner to the nearest bar.   Yet with no record of success the regime keeps banging the drum to use the No-Fly list to strip Americans of the god-given rights.  Why?

Analysis, Bob Owens Bearing Arms:

Let’s be very, very clear about what these Anti-gun Democrats really want.

They want the ability to add the names of citizens they don’t like to arbitrary lists in order to strip them of their constitutional rights without them being suspected of committing a crime. They want the ability to “Minority Report” American citizens based upon their beliefs, their ideas, and their affiliations with political parties or civil rights groups such as the NRA, whom they would love nothing more than to be able to designate as a “terrorist group” as the New York print media has called for openly.

There is no due process to prevent a disgruntled or incompetent government bureaucrat from putting a citizen on the “No-Fly List” for no good reason, and apparently, no why for a good citizen to get his name off the bad list.

Americans who have been smartest enough to watch cable news have been made uneasy by the recent years of terror attacks both foreign and domestic and the regime’s stubborn resistance to even acknowledging the very problem.

Charlie Brown is out, but Allah is in.  The regime’s habit to punish Christianity, i.e. birth control for practicing nuns, but to protect and promote Islam.   First, the war on Christianity, from Todd Starnes, Fox News:

There are some days when this anti-Christmas nonsense is enough to make you deck somebody’s halls.

The latest yuletide lunacy comes from Johnson County, Kentucky where the school district has censored an elementary school presentation of “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

[…]

The district also ordered other schools to remove all religious references from their upcoming Christmas productions.

Meanwhile in Virginia a campaign to promote Islam,  via Schilling Show:

Classroom teacher, Cheri Laporte, asked students to practice “calligraphy” by copying the Muslim statement of faith, also known as the shahada, which translates as:

“There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

Recitation of the shahada is a fundamental step in conversion to Islam.

According to parents, students were not informed of the translation or of the specific meaning of the Arabic text the students were being asked to copy. In addition, parents confirm that female students were invited to don Muslim apparel and subsequently were photographed in costume by the teacher. (Reportedly, an administrator has since disposed of the photos.)

Good grief:

  • It only took one complaint to shut censor Linus, but several has not silenced Laporte.
  • We don’t teach cursive skills in English class, yet the bigot Laporte makes penmanship part of her World Geography class.
  • If Laporte don’t follow through with their inadvertent conversion to Islam, will they be condemned as apostates?
  • Laporte proselytizes Islam, but does not adhere to Islam. Should Laporte be subject to the same Sharia law she advocates? That is will she be stoned to death for being outside her home with her male guardian?

Merry Christmas to one and all.

I wonder what the Amish think about our struggles with Islam.

Thought about it for quite a while, and came to the conclusion that I can’t come to any real conclusions without knowing more about what the Amish value and what they do not. I can see that I’m going to have to do some study on the battered answer the question, and whatever the answer is it’s probably not going to answer the larger issue. One thing’s for certain, if not likely that we will see any of them taking hostages beheading people drowning them, burning them alive, etc. I mean, it’s possible, but not likely. On that basis it seems to me the religion of peace isn’t Islam.

*Scranton Pennsylvania is an impressive looking place at night when you’re driving by it. Either from 476 or from 81, as you look out across the valley the place seems absolutely huge… the carpet of street lights across the valley looks like nothing so much as a starfield would.

*Aside from Planned Parenthood, what group would you most associate dealing with severed heads? In both cases it seems to me what we’re dealing with his cultures of death, a death cult. Interesting to me at least that the Democrats side with both of them as a matter of routine.

It is increasingly looking like Ted Cruz is going to get the nomination for president. It’s certainly true that Trump is leading the pack at the moment, but the undercurrent suggests that’s not going to last quite so long. I still do advise GOP candidates not to be overly critical of the stands that Trump takes. This garbage about restricting Muslims from the country being unAmerican for example, is exactly that. Garbage. I think it is particularly so when you consider that’s the polling is suggesting that the majority of Americans, even those who don’t really support all that much, I think it’s a good idea. In any event, with what I currently know of each of the candidates, I would be well satisfied with Ted Cruz as president of the United States. We need a present at this point is not to be kicking ass and taking names. Certainly Donald Trump has the courage but I don’t think he has the tools. Ted Cruz on the other hand, does. As for the rest of the monkeys in this particular circus, none of the rest of them qualify by that measure… none.

There was a time in this country when we assimulated immigrants instead of just throwing open the doors, allowing them to bring all of the things that made their former home a hell hole to be escaped from. We made sure that they were culturally compatible. I dare to suggest to you that there is no more culturally incompatible a group, to our freedoms here in the United States and then the followers of Islam. We are committing cultural suicide by not applying that filter anymore.

So the present and tried to reassure the nation earlier today saying that there was no credible information about a terror threat. I will remind the readers that there wasn’t any credible information according to the White House with regards to San Bernardino, either. Of course, there’s a reason for that. The Obama White House has shut down all avenues of investigation as regards Islamic terrorism.

Eric Florack on December 16th, 2015

I keep seeing signs on government-sponsored things, like buses, traffic signs, government websites, supposed public service announcements and they all say the same thing…

If you see something say something…

But we still have to consider what happened to the teacher who said something when clock boy showed up the class with his supposedly homemade device.

Add to that, Obama and company shutting down the investigation into the San Bernardino jihad couple. Clearly the implication is, the government doesn’t want to know any negative points about anyone who happens to be Islamic. Apparently, they will go to great lengths, up to and including prosecution of anyone who dares to follow the Edict of “if you see something say something”

I’d like to say this is a mixed message coming out of the government, but since when has government ever been unified and its messages? Something so large and certainly not be tremendously coordinated. It’s one of the inherent problems of any large organization, particularly that of government.

But if you filter the messages down to what’s coming out of the White House, the picture becomes far more clear. The Obama administration refuses to hear anything negative about Islam. They will prosecute you if you say anything.

I believe it was Voltaire who suggested that if you want to see who’s in charge, look to whom it is you cannot criticize. And with that quote, I think we’ve identified a great deal of the problems we as a people face today.

It is a horrible idea to think  of school children as front line warriors.  Yet due to feckless practices of the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton regime is that is exactly where they are, on the front lines.   The Los Angeles Unified School District just gift wrapped and handed Islamic jihadists* an early Christmas Present, via Patterico’s Pontifications:

As Supt. Ramon Cortines noted, the district receives threats all the time. But with the San Bernardino shootings still a vivid memory, and with a somewhat more detailed threat in hand, district officials believed they had little choice but to close the schools. Had anything happened to a student or teacher, the horror would have been unspeakable, a wound from which it would be hard to recover. It’s easy to understand why the district erred on the side of safety.

The costs of doing this are heavy, though. The already cash-strapped district will probably lose millions of dollars in state aid as a consequence of closing. Thousands upon thousands of parents were forced to change their work plans for the day; chances are that many of those will not be paid, and that’s a sacrifice that L.A. Unified families can ill afford. Meanwhile, other cities worry that the district has just shown malefactors around the world how to inflict a major economic blow with a few emails

Absolute safety is absolutely impossible. The LAUSD just showed malefactors of evil how to shut down an major economy. The fecklessness will be rewarded. Expect more of the same.

The LAUSD was not the only option, reax from Patterico:

WHAT CHOICE DID THEY HAVE?

Gee, editors. You could do what New York City did, and decide it’s a hoax. People can debate whether the right choice was made. I don’t think it was. But it is ridiculous to act as if WE HAVE NO CHOICE because think of the children!

The choice is to adopt the Flight Ninety Three Rule.

[*] It matters not who perpetrated the hoax, It very much matters the message we send. The forces of evil are observing.

Attention Democrats, and in this I include establishment Republicans as well. If your hero, FDR, tossed groups of people in the concentration camp in the name of keeping the country safe,

maybe it’s either time to either disassociate yourself as a party from FDR, or stop trying to preach to Donald Trump supporters about doing precisely the same thing.

That is all.

What we need a movie about Chappaquiddick, from Hollywood Reporter:

On the eve of the moon landing, Senator Kennedy[sic Oldsmobile] becomes entangled in a tragic car accident that results in the death of former Robert Kennedy campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne. The senator struggles to follow his own moral compass and simultaneously protect his family’s legacy, all while simply trying to keep his own political ambitions alive.

Maybe Taylor-Johnson should title the film:   Fifty Shades of Drunk.

Mary Jo Kopechne  was not available for comment.;

Kerry_JohnJohn Kerry, a/k/a Lurch,  has achieved a rarity for the regime, bipartisan consensus.    Both the warmists and the deniers don’t like the so-called climate change agreement Lurch negotiated in Paris, from S.A. Miller, Washington Times:

“I understand the criticisms of the agreement because it doesn’t have a mandatory scheme and it doesn’t have a compliance enforcement mechanism. That’s true,”

At least Lurch, is not as dumb as he looks. Yet Kerry’s handshakes for tax dollars dog and pony show in Paris did little to appease the global alarmist, the godfather of global climate fraud, sorry Michael Mann, Dr. James Hanson:

“It’s a fraud really, a fak e, […] It’s just worthless words. There is no action, just promises. As long as fossil fuels appear to be the cheapest fuels out there, they will be continued to be burned.”

I do recognized Dr. Hanson has an expert on frauds. The only tangible affect of the agreement appears to giving away massive amounts of tax dollars

California is not noted for rational politicians, see Babs, DiFi and Governor Moonbeam. That extends to the House, from Loretta Sanchez, via Donald Douglas, American Power:

“But certainly, we know that there is a small group, and we don’t know how big that is — it can be anywhere between 5 and 20%, from the people that I speak to — that Islam is their religion and who have a desire for a caliphate and to institute that in anyway possible, and in particular go after what they consider Western norms — our way of life,”

Lord knows where Sanchez got her numbers.  I do question her math.   Up to one in five Muslims being violent revolutionaries does not qualify as a small number.    Democrat logic, up to one in five Muslim immigrants want to abolish our form of government and abolish human rights, but we don’t need to bother to vet them at all.

Allah Pundit,  questions Sanchez’s assertion, but leaves with this tease, from Hot Air:

Is there any meaningful distinction between supporting terrorism to bring about a caliphate and supporting ISIS in particular? I guess you could dial in on the word “terrorism,” e.g. fighting Assad for territory is fine but flying planes into American skyscrapers is unnecessary and unacceptable. Anyone think the pro-ISIS crowd would parse things that finely?

Exit question: Trump/Sanchez 2016?

The Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton model of refusing to distinguish between immigrants who practice Islam as their religion, and those who subscribe to as a  political belief is utterly insane.

An accident has been described as a rare moment when a liberal tells the truth.   We may have one such moment, from Phoebe Maltz Bovy, New Republic, via

It’s Time to Ban Guns. Yes, All of Them.

Ban guns. All guns. Get rid of guns in homes, and on the streets, and, as much as possible, on police. Not just because of San Bernardino, or whichever mass shooting may pop up next, but also not not because of those. Don’t sort the population into those who might do something evil or foolish or self-destructive with a gun and those who surely will not. As if this could be known—as if it could be assessed without massively violating civil liberties and stigmatizing the mentally ill. Ban guns! Not just gun violence. Not just certain guns. Not just already-technically-illegal guns. All of them.

Calm down sweetie. Ok you want to ban those big evil scary guns. Well your boy Barack is real fond of executive orders, especially when it goes to his favorite amendment, the Second. When Dumbo, he of the big ears and small brain, b/k/a President Barack Obama disarms his Secret Service by executive order, then we can have a nice conversation about those scary guns. Till then, shut up bitch!

Reax:

How about the fact that since Obama took office, an estimated 100 million guns have been purchased by American citizens, or the over 2.2 million guns sold in November alone, bringing the total to nearly 20 million guns sold so far in 2015? Don’t these people’s actions speak louder than any words? Or maybe Phoebe is conveniently ignoring these facts in an effort to push the gun control agenda.

If Dumbo really wanted limit the amount of firearms held by the American public, the best thing he could do would be to resign, and take the Delaware Blue Hen,  Biden with him.
