Given B.J. Clinton’s long string of girl friends, voluntary and otherwise, I do wonder why no media organization ever bothers to inquire of Mrs. Clinton as to the mating habits of her spouse, from Reason:

In case you thought Donald Trump couldn’t get any more awful, The Daily Beast just published a story about a decades-old encounter that Trump’s ex-wife Ivana later privately described as rape, according to a 1993 account.

Trump’s lawyer responded to The Daily Beast in extremely aggressive terms—claiming that, legally speaking, it’s not possible to rape one’s spouse, and by threatening, in vulgar and suggestive language, The Daily Beast’s reporters.

The Daily Beast story does fit my perception of what Donald Trump is capable, but the accusation of an former spouse are hardly credible. I note that Daily Beast will use the accusations of a former spouse. but appear to have never gone near the numerous accusations of rape against one B.J. Clinton.

Reax, Stacy McCain:

So what? When a rich man’s wife divorces him, she always accuses him of awful things. It’s a shakedown: “Give me the money I want or I’ll drag your name through the mud and make an ugly spectacle of it.”

Amen.

Addendum,  William Teach, Right Wing News, seems to reading my mind:

I’m not going to defend Trump, but, I am going to wonder when the Daily Beast will run a story about Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s husband, William J. Clinton, and the women who have credibly accused him of rape and sexual assault. The media is all over Bill Cosby supposedly raping and sexually assaulting lots of women in previous decades, and have found him guilty. Yet, the same media covers for Bill Clinton, and the wife who apparently looked away

Both the media and Mrs. Clinton have blind eyes.

I’m at Columbia New Jersey is this is written. I’m preparing to run out to Long Island in the morning to deliver a load of salsa. The trailer always smells so good hauling that stuff. I have a slow cooker in the truck, and have occasionally made chili soup or what have you, and unfortunately I spend about half the day wanting to stop and eat because it smells so good. Well that’s the problem here. The trailer smells so good for a couple of days afterward and I generally end up having to buy a bottle or two to persuade my nose that salsa really does exist.

Two new steer tires, 4 new drive tires, some other repairs, and I’m actually in very good shape. I’ve still got an occasional warning light about the diesel exhaust fluid pump, but I think it’s a false alarm. It only occurs when the engine is extraodinarily warm. I think of Center going bad. We’re working on it. Welcome to my world.

The more I watch Donald Trump, the more I am convinced he is not the person we want to see in the White House. That said, he is in fact serving the purpose of conservatism. Now, given his history of donating large sums of money to Democrat party people, including Hillary Clinton, that may take some explanation.

I’ve already written rather extensively about corruption of elected officials, most of them Democrats. Most useful is an article I wrote for pajamasmedia back in 2009. In it, I explained that a local businessman was donating to the Clintons very heavily when he has not had a history of donating to Democrat Party causes or people before. I suggested at the time that it seems clear to me but what was going on was that he was hoping to buy influence to get his business objectives accomplished.

I’m going to suggest that the reason Trump was donating to Democrat party people & causes, Hillary Clinton in particular, was to grease the wheels of his business ventures with people who would ostensibly hold power in the government. It doesn’t make Trump look very good that he’s been buying governmental influence, but on the other hand one can certainly understand him becoming a full-fledged Republican, & a conservative, after years of having to buy off Democrats to survive in the business world.

Buying influence among Democrats certainly does not speak well of the morality surrounding Mr Trump. There are a number of other reasons of course for not wanting him to be at the top of the GOP ticket. That said, I think it clear but Mr Trump’s activities thus far have shown the degree of anger and frustration there is amongst the rank and file against the GOP establishment.

If you think that Trump hasn’t been successful in terms of bringing an increased level of testosterone to the GOP,  how does one explain Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate the other day? I suggest you cannot. What we saw was Ted Cruz recognizing that Donald Trump has tapped into a huge vein of support… because he’s willing to represent the extreme level of anger that is out there a monster Democrat rank and file. Anger at the GOP establishment for not representing them. For instead, representing the Democrats.

As I say, I hold no illusion that Mr Trump will be going be president, or get the nomination. I fully anticipate his blowing up in the near future.

But I would advise caution to the remainder of the GOP field, about attacking him. Anyone who wants to stand a chance at getting the presidency had best understand that the only way to do that is to embrace the sentiments being put forward by the rank and file, and at the moment sadly Trump and now Ted Cruz, are the only ones willing to do that.

Addendum, David:

While Eric was on the road, the nation’s official village idiot, Joe Biden, dropped into Eric’s home town of Greece, New York, to proverbially cut the ribbon on a large barrel of lard, called photonics.  Despite the fact the event was within walking distance of me, I declined to attend.   It does appear that Biden managed  to avoid inserting his foot into his mouth, this time.

Was this the day the Boy Scouts of America died?

Old adage:  Don’t bite the hand that feeds  you.   More pointedly:  When  you depend on volunteers, don’t piss off the volunteers.   Case in point, the former interim CEO of Reddit one Ellen Pao, from Wired:

Reddit interim CEO Ellen Pao resigned today after facing an all-out revolt on the site in the wake of the firing of a popular employee. Steve Huffman, Reddit’s original CEO and co-founder of the site a decade ago, is taking over the job as permanent CEO ( according to Huffman), effective immediately.

Reddit’s business model depended on hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteers supporting the company. Pao seemed intent of alienating the volunteer base of her then company. Now Pao is out and Reddit is shaky.

Pao went toe to toe with reality and reality won. Now Bob Gates, is attempting the same trick, from CBS News:

NEW YORK — The Boy Scouts of America on Monday ended its blanket ban on gay adult leaders, while allowing church-sponsored Scout units to maintain the exclusion for religious reasons.

The new policy, aimed at easing a controversy that has embroiled the Boy Scouts for years, takes effect immediately. It was approved by the BSA’s National Executive Board on a 45-12 vote during a closed-to-the-media teleconference.

“For far too long, this issue has divided and distracted us,” said the BSA’s president, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates. “Now it’s time to unite behind our shared belief in the extraordinary power of Scouting to be a force for good.”

Religious groups supported Scouting because it helped build the moral character which reflected the church’s core belief. Gates is willing alter the Boy Scout’s core beliefs, but yet hope that this army of volunteer supporters will somehow abandon their deeply held moral convictions. Good luck with that Bobby. One can not promote what is good by turning a blind eye to what is evil.

Anthony Kennedy may believe that individual Americans will cede to an anointed authority figure the power to deem what that individual believes to be moral. Alas, Gates will no more succeed than Kennedy will.

Another example, Kate offers a reminder that even leftists are smart enough to know a line not to crossed, from Blazing Cat Fur:

Swedish “Far-Right” Plans Gay Pride Parade Through Muslim Areas; Leftists and Gay Rights Groups Decry the Parade as Racist

Lucky for Gates, Mormons are not violent.

It is one of the most base of human taboos, cannibalism.   Yet thanks to Planned Parenthood and companies like Pepsi, Kraft and Cadbury Adams, you could be a cannibal and not even have known it, Alicia Colon, Jewish World Review:

Scientists might see some value in these organs for this practice, In fact, the PR firm for PP said the organization´s harvesting of human organs is a “humanitarian undertaking.” “Aborted pregnancy tissue donation and research are humanitarian undertakings that hold the potential to cure disease, save lives, and ameliorate suffering”

Oh really? Can we put our taste buds into that category because companies like Pepsi, Kraft, Nestles, and many other companies get their flavor enhancers from a biotech company that uses clones of old fetal cell lines.

List Of Companies That Uses Aborted Fetal Cells As Flavor

Needless to say, getting part your soda’s flavor from dead babies, is not half as bad as getting some of your green power from nuclear.

The white trash from Arkansas, formerly known at the  Smartest Woman in the World,  Mrs B.J. Clinton, proves that her hypocrisy is even larger than her over sized butt, from New York Times:

Hillary Rodham Clinton made a case on Friday for weaning Wall Street from an addiction to profits, calling for a change to capital gains taxes for the highest earners and a string of measures to adjust the balance of power between corporate titans and their employees.

Get back to me, when the most boring stump candidate less Harold Stassen weans her and the Clan Clinton from her three hundred thousand dollar speaking fees, from Washington Post:

Hillary Rodham Clinton and former president Bill Clinton earned in excess of $25 million for delivering 104 speeches since the beginning of 2014, a huge infusion to their net worth as she was readying for a presidential bid.

[…]

According to the disclosure, Hillary Clinton delivered 51 speeches in 2014 and the first three months of 2015, earning more than $11 million. Her fees varied, but she earned as much as $315,000 for speaking to eBay in San Jose on March 11; she also collected $325,000 for speaking to the technology company Cisco in Las Vegas in August.

At least a CEO is forced to produce a profit for his shareholders to maintain position. In contrast Mrs Clinton gouges three hundred thousand dollars from soon to indebted college students and the taxpayers for eachwhat likely the same forgettable speech.

I start giggling whenever I see words like “ethics” or “dignity” in a Planned Parenthood Federation of America statement. It’s like watching Miley Cyrus give a lecture on sartorial propriety.

And who said you could not use the words dignity and Planned Parenthood in the same sentence?

I would not call this news, but if you live your life with your head stuck up the New York Times gray tower, then you might think so:

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. —

Marines and sailors risked their lives for one another in Chattanooga last week, trying to distract the gunman who assaulted a naval center here, helping people scale a fence to reach safety and returning fire at the attacker, law enforcement officials said on Wednesday.

Bravo Zulu gentlemen.

Planned Parenthood claims harassment:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Planned Parenthood told Congress Monday that a secretly recorded video released last week by an anti-abortion group is fraudulent and part of a years-long pattern of illegal harassment aimed at prohibiting abortion.

The millions of dead babies killed at the hands of Planned Parenthood were not available for comment.

So goodbye, Donald, it’s been fun. You did a good job bringing up immigration, Mexico and sanctuary cities, but you’d be a lousy commander-in-chief of the United States military. And if there’s anything clear right now, that is by far the most important qualification we should be looking for in our next president. In fact, you could almost say it’s the only one. Earlier, I have written, referencing The Godfather, more than ever “we need a wartime consigliere.” I’m doubtful about my opinions about many things, but not about that.

Giving the proverbial boot to La Donald’s head in only by duty.   It was a mistake for Trump to impugn John McCain for defending his country, living up to the Code of Conduct, and acting with honor.

In to the Google Wayback Machine.  I googled Clinton sock puppets and got a bunch of hits dated 2007.  The Mrs. Clinton so-called army of supporters consists of paid sock puppets is old news.

Back to the presence, from Aleister, Legal Insurrection:

Yesterday in Iowa, the Hillary Clinton campaign told their young supporters they couldn’t speak to the press. This clumsy and seemingly paranoid move earned Hillary Clinton mockery even on MSNBC.

video:

Not even the Smartest Woman in the World is so stupid as issue an internal gag order to silience her own supporters.  No legitimate supporter of any candidate would honor such a stupid request.  Those were not Mrs. Clinton supporters in Iowa.  They were paid sock puppets.  I wonder if Mrs. Clinton was paying her sock puppets a living wage?\

Back to the Smartest Woman in the World, how bad is it, when Mrs. Clinton even loses MSNBC?

Up front, I do not like Donald Trump the person, or for that matter John McCain the politician, but on the other hand, I have found no actual quote of Trump saying John McCain was not a war hero.

The controversy, from Boston Herald:

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump took shots at John McCain’s military history on Saturday, arguing that the Arizona Senator was “not a war hero.”

“He’s a war hero because he was captured,” Trump said. “I like people that weren’t captured.”

McCain, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam for six years, recently criticized Trump for stirring “the crazies” for his controversial remarks in recent weeks.

Trump did not appear to slander McCain. Although Trump did ignorantly impugn McCain. Trump said that he prefers soldiers who were not captured. The Code of Conduct requires that our soldiers never surrender. Attempting to evade capture and failing is not surrender. It is not dishonor. It not conduct for which a soldier should ever be criticized. The fact that Trump impugned McCain for the fact that McCain was captures, shows Trump to ignorant, and unfit to serve as Commander-in-Chief.

McCain was shot-down and ejected over enemy territory. As for as I know, all our airmen who ejected over North Vietnam, and survived, were captured. I fact, three of them went on to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor based on their conduct as prisoners of war. Being captured did not make McCain a hero. Flying off a carrier into enemy territory, and hopefully back, is heroic. Building casinos that go bankrupt in Atlantic City is not.

Trump knows how to spot the enemy.  Sadly he fires before he aims, and is the Fearless Fosdick of politicians.

As for McPain, we might have prevailed in Southeast Asia, if McCain had managed to drop as many bombs on North Vietnam as a naval aviator, as he did on his fellow republicans as a politician.

We have found something even more elusive than the gene for homosexuality.  What is this magical something that converts a biological male or female into believing his inner sex is opposite from his physical, god given, sex?  The trannies and their apologist don’t know what it is, but they are adamant that it exists, as one Ben Shapiro discovered, from American Thinker:

On Thursday, Ben Shapiro appeared with several other guests on a television program called Dr. Drew on Call. The topic of discussion was whether Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner deserved to receive ESPY’s Arthur Ashe Courage Award. And before you know it, another guest by the name of Zoey Tur, who, like Jenner, is a male who identifies as female, responded to a comment made by Shapiro with a physical threat.

video:

Zoey Tur, nee Robert Albert “Bob” Tur, is free to wear a dress, a bad wig and to call himself a girl.  Tur is free to assert that chromosomes are not relevant.  Tell that to a person with Down’s.  Yet if Tur wants to preen about as girl, he should learn to behave like a girl.

Had the actions of Tur and Ben Shapiro been reversed, and it was Shapiro who assaulted Tur, the PC lynch mob would have already been formed and Shapiro would be unemployed.  Yet as it was, Tur was the guilty party, and will get was a lame excuse to the effect that trannies should not be expected to hold their temper. I guess acting like a civilized lady or gentlemen is too much to expect from a tranny.

Had the Chattanooga gunman but been a white Christian, Obama would have already called for more gun control. Yet it is government gun control which is killing our heroes in uniform.

Dear Mr. Obama,

I have little hope that you’ll ever read this, but I have to get this off my chest. Since 1993, our military personnel, many of whom have had extensive weapons training including sidearms, have not been allowed to carry weapons openly or concealed on military properties. Yet on your watch the following incidents have occurred:

These incidents, which resulted in the deaths of 35 innocent people and serious injuries to 51 others, might all have been minimized or even prevented by trained, armed military members.

Why is it that these men and women, who carry firearms on our behalf, whom we entrust with the security and well-being of our nation, aren’t allowed to bear arms on military bases in order to defend themselves and others?

And, of course, these are only the incidents that result in deaths or injuries and thus cannot be hidden from the public. As a military wife, I recall more than one incident in which miscreants on base were stopped by MPs or other law enforcement personnel. In one case at Fort Gordon, a person who was later captured blew through the checkpoint without stopping. Similarly unaware gate security allowed the 2014 shooter at Norfolk Naval Base to get through. Why? Anyone who has sat in line to get through a military base checkpoint can figure this one out easily.

I don’t blame gate security for these incidents. I do blame misguided leadership that seems to believe that this one layer of security is adequate.

When these bad guys are on base, there is little or nothing our disarmed military members-people like my husband-can do save hide, call 9-1-1, and hope like hell the MPs hurry up. Isolated recruiting stations are in a worse position, open to the public and completely vulnerable.

With the recent threats by ISIS to target military personnel and their families, why are we pretending our military bases and stations are not military targets, ripe for exploitation by hidden terrorist assets or lone-wolf nut cases? For the love of God and country, allow our military members who pass standard background checks and have weapons training to carry personal sidearms in or out of uniform. The lives of military members and families alike-families just like mine-could depend on the courage of these armed and honorable individuals.

The lives of four military members could have been saved today in Chattanooga by such a change in policy. May God comfort their families. I doubt, Mr. Obama, that you will.

Sincerely,

A Military Wife
