It is fit of irrational stupidity the New York State Assembly want to give in-state tuition aid to illegal aliens, from Berkeley Brean, WHEC:

It’s called the “Dream Act” and it is generating a huge conversation on our Facebook page. If you haven’t heard, the “Dream Act” would give children of illegal immigrants in New York, the opportunity to get state aid to go to college in New York. It passed the state Assembly this week.

Although, most of the viewers we have heard from are not happy with this proposal. There are some people who support it. They say it would give more people access to college who can then contribute to society which lowers the burden of living here on everyone.

It may be Mario Jr’s, DREAM Act, but it is not mine. The best way to eliminate the burden of the illegal alien to send them back to the country where they belong.

Who needs the Boston Marathon  any how?  The regime as spoken:

(CNN) — As part of revamped security following last year’s deadly bombings, the Boston Marathon has banned various items for the 2014 race, including bags and strollers.

The bombs placed in backpacks exploded near the finish line last year, killing three people.

Backpacks, handbags, suitcases and similar items are prohibited from entering any marathon venues this year.

So are containers with more than 1 liter of liquid, costumes covering the face, and bulky clothes such as vests with pockets.

I suggest the regime complete the process and just ban the runners altogether. Give the Jihadists their total victory.

Again, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama can afford to pass the bill, then find out what’s in it, because it does not apply to them. But, assuming you are not George Soros, how would you like to get a bill for $14,000 for a month and a half worth of medication? $14,000 (just for that one drug) and Humana (I include the link in case you wish to write to tell them what you think of them) was not going to pay.

There will be a day of reckoning, for Obama Care.

Piers Morgan Live will not live long enough to see the spring, via R.S. McCain:

Piers CNN President Jeff Zucker has decided to bring an end to Piers Morgan’s low-rated primetime show, network sources told POLITICO on Sunday. “Piers Morgan Live” could end as early as next month, though Morgan may stay with the network in another role.

Reax:

Do think maybe the “low ratings” and the “aggressive pro-gun-control campaign” had something to do with each other? And do you think that maybe booking a dangerous kook like Alex Jones was related to both the low ratings and the anti-gun agenda?

Now Morgan will not have the bother of doing a daily show detract him from his allegations of phone hacking.

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, young people can stay on their parents’ insurance until they are 26. But once they hit 26, they’re on their own and a lot of young people think they are invincible. But the truth is, young people are knuckleheads, you know? They’re the ones who are cooking for the first time and slice their finger open. They’re dancing on the bar stool.

Morons like Barack Obama and John Kerry call their theory of  anthropogenic global warming “settled science.”   Yet the same government scientists who claim they can predict the global climate, can not even predict the weather, from Daily Caller:

This exceptionally cold and snowy winter has shown that government climate scientists were dead wrong when it came to predicting just how cold this winter would be, while the 197-year old Farmers’ Almanac predicted this winter would be “bitterly cold”.

Bloomberg Businessweek reports that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center (CPC) predicted temperatures would be “above normal from November through January across much of the lower 48 states.”

This is a Hi-Point 995TS.

hp995

You could call the gun a glorified varmint rifle, but you would be wrong. The gun just a over grown 9MM handgun. However this type of gun a mother used in Detroit to save the lives of her and her children, video:

Just don’t use a 995 to protect your family in New York State. Governor Cuomo, the legislature and the [Un]Safe Act have made the 995 illegal in New York State. from William A. Jacobson, Legal Insurrection:

This firearm used by the mother as reflected in the video is the Hi-Point 995TS. It is a pistol-caliber carbine, chambered in 9x19mm caliber. It weighs 6.25 pounds empty, uses a proprietary 10-round magazine. It uses a simple semiautomatic action that fires one shot per trigger pull. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for this model is $285, making it far cheaper than many handguns. For this reason, it is often chosen as a home defense firearm buy people on a tight budget.

I’d don’t see the 995 as my first choice for a home defense weapon, but for the size and price it is a good choice, provided you don’t live in the People’s Republic of New York

Addendum:   While Governor Andy is not willing to let you have an ugly rifle in your home, he willing to put sex offenders in your neighborhood, from Amanda Ciavarri, WHEC:

It’s a story that’s gotten so much attention since News10NBC first brought it to you last week. Convicted sex offenders are quietly being moved into group homes and residential areas.

[…]

The seven sex offenders, all men, previously lived in the Monroe Developmental Center in Brighton. The state closed the facility in December, and that’s when those men were moved in here.

Their convictions range from attempted rape to child sex abuse.

“I think Governor Cuomo made this decision as a political move, to save money. He did it very secretly, he did it very quietly, and he did it at the expense of our children.

But not secretly enough.

Barack Obama as the JokerDumbo, a/k/a President Fifty Seven State, b/k/a Barack Obama shall not cease his War on Employment until no one is employed.   Dumbo wants to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour.   The Congressional Budget Office has issued a report stating that such a raise would result in between zero to one million job loses.   No shucks Sherlock.   Not so surprising, the White House does not like the CBO figures,  from Alexis Simendinger, RCP:

President Obama’s drive to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour is central to his goal this year of narrowing income inequality — and giving Democrats a fresh refrain in the midterm election campaign. But a few pages in an otherwise supportive Congressional Budget Office report scuffed that message.

[…]

The White House favors the view that higher pay improves motivation, curbs distractions, improves retention, reduces turnover and cuts absenteeism among workers. All of that benefits employers and can offset higher labor costs. Employers also have the option of reducing profits while maintaining or increasing employment levels, Furman added.

I make it point not to believe anybody who does not believe what they are saying. For if as alleged by the White House if a higher minimum wage would improves motivation, curbs distractions, improves retention, reduces turnover and cuts absenteeism among workers. there would be utterly no need for federal legislation. Greedy employers would simply raise their pay to garner more profits.

I further note that the White House is quite willing for employers to lower their profits, and resulting federal tax revenues, but are not willing to curb Dumbo’s lavish vacations.

Enough!   When will the War on Women end?   Former congresscritter calls his successor a bimbo, frmo, Melissa Quinn, Red Alert Politics:

The sting of a loss still seems to burn for former Rep. Joe Baca (D-Calif.), who lashed out at past victor Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Calif.) on Wednesday, calling her a “bimbo.”

Baca, who was ousted from Congress in the 2012 elections during a Democrat v. Democrat civil war, spoke with The Hill regarding Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod’s (D-Calif.) decision to retire after one term. The former congressman is running for the seat vacated by retiring Rep. Gary Miller (R-Calif.) and told The Hill he has no plans to switch districts. Still, it’s apparent Baca’s loss remains an open wound.

“Look at what we wound up with: Some bimbo who decided not to run again. … Here we go again now with another New Yorker trying to tell us who’s going to be the representative of the 31st. It’s up to the people to decide,” Baca said, referencing both Negrete McLeod and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.).

Expect Amanda Marcotte to fly into a rage in four, three, two.   Oh Baca is a democat. Never mind.

On a related noted, I am pleased to see the three million dollars Micheal Bloomberg spent to oust Baca from Congress was so wisely spent.

Dem Candidate for Harris County DA Says Domestic Violence is ‘Overrated’

[Lloyd Wayne] Oliver doesn’t just hold some old-fashioned ideas about family violence. He makes it clear that he wants to be Harris County DA to reduce prosecution of domestic abuse

[…]

Oliver’s most written-about scandals are linguistic. In a 2012 interview with the Houston Press, he used terms like “queers” and “rag heads” and called the local Democratic leadership “frustrated homosexuals” for trying to kick him off the ballot. (After he won the nomination, party leaders decided they would rather run nobody. Oliver sued to get back his spot.)

Among his least popular public statements was that maybe victims of domestic violence should “learn how to box a little better” and that battery can be a “prelude to lovemaking.” This went over poorly, especially when he reiterated these thoughts at a debate hosted by the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council

Must be a Karl Rove plant.
