Obama_clown-noseThe reason that the [Un] Affordable Care Act. s/k/s Obama Care will be the effective end the Obama administration, is that rather that messing up in a foreign land like Mexico, Libya or Syria President Golfs=A-Lot is messing with ordinary Americans, who do not like it one bit, from MSN:

The problems with the website healthcare.gov could have lingering implications for Barack Obama because the issues are tangible for so many Americans.

WASHINGTON — For nearly five years, Republicans have struggled to make a scandal stick to President Barack Obama’s White House. One by one, the controversies — with shorthand names such as Solyndra, Benghazi, and Fast and Furious — hit a fever pitch, then faded away.

[,,,]

The health care failures are tangible for millions of Americans and can be experienced by anyone with Internet access. The law itself is more closely associated with Obama personally and long has been unpopular with the majority of the American people

President Obama is hell bent on sticking the American people with a healthcare law that they neither want nor can afford.

President Fifty-Seven States, a/k/a President Present, b/k/a Barack Obama. who has expressed open contempt for the Constitution, shows just how much he respects the First, Second and Fourth Amendments   Jack Booted Thugs, from Department of Homeland Security and Maryland State Police, raided a family home in the wee hours of the morning, from, Alex Pappas, Daily Caller:

A veteran Washington D.C. investigative journalist says the Department of Homeland Security confiscated a stack of her confidential files during a raid of her home in August — leading her to fear that a number of her sources inside the federal government have now been exposed.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, journalist Audrey Hudson revealed that the Department of Homeland Security and Maryland State Police were involved in a predawn raid of her Shady Side, Md. home on Aug. 6. . . .
At about 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, Hudson said officers dressed in full body armor presented a search warrant to enter the home she shares on the bay with her husband. She estimates that at least seven officers took part in the raid.
After the search began, Hudson said she was asked by an investigator with the Coast Guard Investigative Service if she was the same Audrey Hudson who had written a series of critical stories about air marshals for The Washington Times over the last decade. The Coast Guard operates under the Department of Homeland Security. . . .

Hat tip and hot scoop, R.S. McCain:

[B]elieve it or not, they had a search warrant for a potato launcher her husband had bought online

Seven Jack Booted Thugs play acting like soldiers to search for one potato gun. Give me a break. Let a least take away these thug’s military toys.

Sen. Bullhead from Illinois is hooked on outrage

Dick Durbin not only baited his own hook, he swallowed it whole

I doubt that Little Dicky Durbin is smart enough to question if Dirty Harry Reid was a reliable source, or is the quote had been true, it would have gone viral the day it was supposed to have been uttered. If Little Dicky is offended by this post, I’ll consider an apology.

Jennifer Rubin

Are the ‘rats abandoning the sinking Obama Care ship.   On 30 September fifty-four ‘rats voted for a partial government shut-down rather than delay the [Un] Affordable Care Act, b/k/a Obama Care, from Jennifer Rubin, Washington Post:

CNN reporter Dana Bash’s tweet asserting that a senior Democratic source told her “to expect every sen dem running in 2014 to back” the proposal to delay the individual mandate was quickly blasted out by Brad Dayspring, communications director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, who just days ago was coping with public fury at Republicans for forcing a government shutdown. A Dayspring e-mail declared, “Every Democrat signing on to [New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne] Shaheen’s letter must answer whether or not they also support delaying ObamaCare’s tax penalty. If they do, why did those same Democrats oppose it as recently as three weeks ago, choosing instead to shutdown the government rather than consider the same ObamaCare delay that they now are rushing to support?”

And to think a few weeks ago, the ‘rate were comparing those who support4ed rolling back the mandate to terrorists. Can a ‘rat be a terrorist? Film at Eleven.

California Gestapo gun down thirteen year old child:

(Reuters) – A 13-year-old California boy carrying a replica of an assault rifle was shot and killed by sheriff’s deputies who apparently believed the gun was real, family members and authorities said.

The incident took place in the northern California community of Santa Rosa on Tuesday, a day after a 12-year-old boy killed a teacher at a Nevada middle school with a gun he also used to take his own life.

Although authorities declined to identify the child killed in the California incident, the boy’s father, Rodrigo Lopez, said he was 13-year-old Andy Lopez, who was on his way to a friend’s house with a pellet gun left at the family home over the weekend.

Is is time to disarm all the police in California? Their mantra appears to be shoot first, ask questions later. I find no mention in the article where the late Andy Lopez ever posed a threat to the California Gestapo.   Open carry of a firearm, or replica thereof, may be illegal in California.   It should not  however convert city streets into a free fire zone.

snark2.jpgThe Snark of the Day, Peter Wehner, Commentary:

The Affordable Care Act or close approximations of it is something liberals have worked toward for generations. It has been, for the left, a kind of talisman; to have had it codified in law ranks as one of the great liberal achievements in American history. Or so the left thought. They probably should have been more careful in what they asked for. As Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker put it, “The ACA is the most important liberal project in decades. If it fails, it is a complete disaster for liberalism.”

I suggest that the [Un]Affordable Care Act is really a Cohn Brothers’ move, your lucky day turns into the nightmare of your life.

So did somebody lie to Dirty Harry Reid and tell him that the Obama Care web site was ready to go?

Hat tip and reax:  Moe Lane:

Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who is not coincidentally at all running for re-election in New Hampshire next year, wants to extend the open enrollment period to sign up for Obamacare. She’d also like the administration to ‘clarify’ whether people who can’t sign up will still be subject to the Obamacare tax. Spoiler warning: of course they will be. You can mail in the application, can’t you?

Obama Care is a train wreck and Dirty Harry, and fifty- three of his fellow turd[ette]s own it.

Barack Obama as the JokerImagine just what coast General of the Army Barack Obama  would have landed had he been in charge of the planning fvr D-Day, from Jack Gillum, MSN:

Project developers for the federal health insurance website say they raised doubts about whether the site could be ready in time.

Crammed into conference rooms with pizza for dinner, some programmers building the Obama administration’s showcase health insurance website were growing increasingly stressed. Some worked past 10 p.m., energy drinks in hand. Others rewrote computer code over and over to meet what they considered last-minute requests for changes from the government or other contractors.

[…]

[Obama]”The problem has been that the website that’s supposed to make it easy to apply for and purchase the insurance is not working the way it should for everybody,” Obama said. “There’s no sugarcoating it. The website has been too slow. People have been getting stuck during the application process. And I think it’s fair to say that nobody is more frustrated by that than I am.”

An analogy, the healthcare web site is like a care. The programmers are like the driver, and the government is like the passenger and navigator. The navigator tells the driver he want to got to Tampa, but gives directions instead to Albuquerque instead. So when you greeted with a view of the Rio Grande instead of the Gulf of Mexico,, who is at fault? The government issued confusion for directions, and it got confusion. However, it is the taxpayer is stuck with the bill and the public with an inherently dysfunctional for delivering healthcare. Not to worry, the navigatgors have exempted themselves from the perils of their incompetence.

Like Dwight Eisenhower, Obama did not go ashore with the troops.   Unlike Ike, Obama would not take ownership of his debacle.

As Eliana Johnson has shown, [Cory] Booker is a liar and a fraud. Yet he was elected to the Senate by a decisive margin.

Booker, the fraud, will fit right in well in the Senate.

Health and Human Service Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius gets the Vote of Confidence, via Moe Lane:

White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday that President Obama still trusts Sebelius’s stewardship of his signature legislative achievement.

“The secretary does have the full confidence of the president,” Carney said during his daily press briefing.

In other breaking news, White Star Lines expressed continued confidence is the Captain of the RMS Titanic, Edward Smith

So what is the difference between Edward Smith and Barack Obama?

Smith was man enough to be on his ship when it went down. Obama wants no part of Obama Care.

File under the No Good Deed Goes Unpunished tab:

MANSFIELD, LA (KSLA) Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on EBT cards even though they were not showing limits.

The chaos that followed ultimately required intervention from local police, and left behind numerous carts filled to overflowing, apparently abandoned when the glitch-spurred shopping frenzy ended.

Hat tip and reax, Karen, Lonely Conservative:

Wow, just wow. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Two Walmart stores in Louisiana made the mistake of accepting EBT payments during the outage that left them unable to check the limits on the food stamps cards. Chaos ensued as the welfare recipients loaded up their carts and cleared the shelves.

I find Walmart useful, but much prefer the stories over their customers.
