DADT is dead, long live DADT,from David Woods, Politics Daily:
For the next few months and possibly for as long as a year, gays and lesbians in uniform will still be subject to investigation and discharge if they acknowledge their sexual orientation, Pentagon officials said. Despite action in Congress to repeal it, the controversial policy banning gays from serving openly remains in effect until, in essence, until the Defense Department is good and ready to wipe if off the books. The Pentagon issued a directive Saturday from its personnel chief, Clifford Stanley, alerting troops worldwide to the Senate vote to join the U.S. House in approving legislation to repeal DADT. The directive was expected to emphasize that the law itself has not been immediately repealed, and that the current regulations banning gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military remain in place.
The Devil is in the details.
Train to Nowhere, or take the O Train, the Obami obsession with spending tax payer dollars for trains that don’t go anywhere, from Debra Saunders, RCP:
In the last decade, the symbol for profligate federal spending was the infamous “Bridge to Nowhere” — a huge proposed span that would link the town of Ketchikan, Alaska, population 7,500, to an airport on Gravina Island. Powerful Alaska Republican lawmakers tried to stick American taxpayers with a huge chunk of the tab for this dubious project. This decade, the symbol for federal pork-barrel excess may well be Trains to Nowhere — and if Democrats get their way, those boondoggles could span the country. At least in blue states.
Locally, Rochester, NY, the local congresscriter, Louise Slaughter’s, pet project is the crucial Churchville to Byron trail link.
The J-Nap national security train wreck, from CubachiL
It’s not enough that we have stories of uncomfortable groping among citizens by these TSA agents. We also have some TSA agents who are irresponsible when it comes to security, and others who use the job for criminal purposes. ABC News revealed that last fall, Iranian-American businessman Farid Seif passed through security at a Houston airport and boarded an international flight.
At least Bozo was funny
Obama Care train wreck, from Yuval Levin, Weekly Standard:
In October 2009, at one of her weekly press conferences, Nancy Pelosi was asked by a reporter “where specifically does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?” Pelosi shook her head and replied: “Are you serious?” When her spokesman Nadeam Elshami was later asked to clarify the answer, he responded, “That is not a serious question.” […] But, in our system of government, questions of legitimate authority precede even these questions of wisdom and efficacy. Can the government really order us to buy something we don’t want to buy and punish us for failing to do so?
I suspect that if Mrs. Pelosi, or anybody on her staff or in her caucus, had given any serious thought to the constitutional basis, if any, for Obama Care, that Mrs. Pelosi would have a serious answer to a serious question.
Goose and Gander, from Yid with a Lid:
Turnabout is fair play, except to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. The Guardian, one of the vehicles picked by Wikileaks to release secret US documents to the world, has now released some of the secret court papers surrounding the rape charges hanging over his head. The biggest of these revelations was that he could have avoided the charges if he would have only agreed to an STD test. Assange’s lawyers have lashed out against the leak of the court papers which seems a bit disingenuous considering that their client’s notoriety arises from his leaking of confidential information.
Nice to finally see somebody associated with Assange show some respect for privileged information. For what is is worth, if the accounts in the Swedish court papers are true, it shows that Assange is a jerk. Not that, that is illegal.
Memo to Joe Scarborough, from Daily Caller:
Mark McKinnon with his “No Labels” movement that has captured quite a bit of media attention as of late. However, it hasn’t exactly won over the likes of New York Times columnist Frank Rich or conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh. According to MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough, the two of them aren’t enlightened enough to appreciate this so-called movement.
On Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” Scarborough attacked Rich and Limbaugh for not realizing the importance of finding middle ground.
It I were to call Mrs. Pelosi a moderate, would she be any less of left coast loony liberel? No. Intelligent voters judge politicians by their actions and not their labels. McKinnon can disavow is labels, he can not change his political stripes.
Who knew? From RS McCain, Other McCain :
This is Edward Garcia Jr., 36, and his wife, Melissa Hope Garcia, 25, a couple of criminals from York, Pennsylvania, who made their way to Hollywood, California, where they were staying in a fleabag motel. According to police, the Garcias met up with a guy named Herbert Tracy White, who liked to help out people in need. Apparently, White tried to help the Garcias — and they robbed him, killed him and dismembered his corpse.
Look at the bright side, Mr. and Mrs. Garcia were petty criminals who graduated to murder. Had they specialized in felony weight crime, they might have become bloggers.

Billy Hollis at Q&O today:
McQ hit these pompous fools when they first popped their heads up. I was too busy to chime in then, but the more I’ve watched this whole “No Labels” thing, the funnier it gets.
George Will does a pretty good job today of shredding some of their sillier assertions:
Although the people promising to make No Labels into a national scold are dissatisfied with the tone of politics, they are pleased as punch with themselves. If self-approval were butter, they could spread it across America, if it were bread. They might cover the country with sanctimony as they “overthrow the tyranny of hyper-partisanship.”
…
But Bloomberg, addressing the No Labels confabulation, spoke truth to powerlessness: “It’s not clear that the average person feels themselves disenfranchised or wants a lot of the things we are advocating.” Just so. Whatever their defects, America’s political parties are marvelously sensitive market mechanisms, measuring every tremor of the electorate’s moods.
Look, let’s be honest enough here to recognize one single fact that nobody has had the stones to address; the only time that you will ever see democrats talking about not demonizing the minority, is when they are the minority. The only time you will ever see democrats talking about bipartisanship, is when they don’t have the reins. One such attempt , abortive as it was, was the supposed “coffee party”.
It’s already been pointed out in these spaces that the “no labels” crowd is universally democrat. It is these, who upon finding themselves out of power, is now making noises about winning the supposedly magical political center. Certainly, that mythical places magical to them, because it allows them to achieve if not full progressivism, at least a minimum of fallback from positions they entrenched themselves… and us… in, while in power. The most recent and most obvious attempt at that, was the widespread support among leftists for the presidential run of John McCain. I think we can figure how that worked out.
In looking at the history of the thing, one gets the idea that the reason democrats don’t want labels, is because they want their activities to slip in under the radar , under the guise of bipartisanship. One of the labels that they want to avoid, is “socialism”. That’s a point that Martin McPhillips makes in the comments there.

DREAM dies, New York Times slow on the uptake:

Janet Naplitano, a hod short of a brick. Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Security, will not secure our nation’s borders, or even try, but she will battle against imaginary enemies. I guess imaginary enemies won’t fight back:
(CNSNews.com) — At an all-day White House conference on “environmental justice,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that her department is creating a new task force to battle the effects of climate change on domestic security operations.
Speaking at the first White House Forum on Environmental Justice on Thursday, Napolitano discussed the initial findings of the department’s recently created “Climate Change and Adaptation Task Force.”

John Moses Browning – 3: Perps – 0, one armed shopkeeper and three dead perps, from Peggy O’Hare, Houston Chronicle:
In the back room of a humble jewelry store and pawn shop in Houston’s East End Thursday afternoon, a gunman tied Eva Castillo’s wrists tightly — too tightly. She complained of the pain, so he loosened the bindings. Then Castillo’s husband was ordered at gunpoint to put his hands behind his back.
But Ramon Castillo had a surprise for the gunman and two cohorts, who had announced they were robbing the business.
Castillo pulled a pistol from his waistband and shot the gunman dead. Then he grabbed a shotgun from his office and engaged in a shootout with the other two armed robbers.
When it was over, all three robbers were dead

Senator Fred Thompson Twitters today:
Has there EVER been a bipartisan deal with Democrats that didn’t involve spending great big piles of money? http://bit.ly/fV50r9 #ftrs #tcot
The answer of course is a resounding “No”, which is why, by its very definition of such deals, are anything but a beneficial process. But let’s look closely at this thing, here, wiuth the help of Rush Limbaugh’s show yesterday:
DURBIN: The nature of a compromise is to give up some things so that the other side will do the same, and that’s what happened. The president has a big victory here. It’s big because it means there won’t be a tax increase at the first of the year, which could have hurt our economy. Unemployment benefits are going out to help millions of people across this country, and we’re giving businesses some breaks to help that they will be able to stabilize and build their own employee workforce in the process.
RUSH: Now, I have to analyze this, folks. I just can’t let this go. Let’s just take this line by line. “The president has a big victory here. It’s big because it means there won’t be a tax increase at the first of the year[.]” Dick, the only reason we have tax increases at all in this country is because of you! You guys come along, “there won’t be a big tax increase”? Why didn’t you cut taxes two years ago, Dick? Why didn’t you and Obama cut taxes two years ago in the midst of the beginning of the recession? If you want to admit to us two years after you have destroyed this economy, two years after you have purposely spent this country into a debt that it can never repay, you now want credit for not raising taxes? And people are actually gonna swallow this and not get sick? You guys actually want credit for not raising taxes because it’s now not gonna hurt the economy? Well, that’s really fine and dandy, Dick, after you guys have already done as much damage to this economy as one political party could in two years! You now come along and want to claim victory because you’re not gonna damage the economy? Dick, if tax cuts, or if not raising taxes, is a brilliant economic maneuver in times of recession, then what the hell, why didn’t you do them two years ago, Dick? Sorry, folks. I can’t listen to this stuff and have it go in one ear and out the other.
The next thing. “There won’t be a tax increase that would have hurt our economy.” Finally! Who won here? You people want to tell me Obama wins when this is their take on it? They’re singing our tune! They’re using our lyrics. They’re singing out of our hymnal. They’re singing from the Reagan book. They’re singing from the Buckley book, from the Burke book. I’m sitting here and I’m stunned. I know I’m not as smart as the people inside the Beltway, but how can anybody look at what Durbin here — and, by the way, Durbin is saying this is what they want out there, this is what they want the media to report: “Oh, yeah, big, big win.” The president who has destroyed this economy, the president whose policies have stunk this country up, has spent us into generational theft levels of debt, now claim victory because there won’t be a tax increase?
Well, look; Limbaugh is correct, that they’ve changed their tune, following the election, these Democrats. But let’s face the facts about this; The Democrats that are currently in charge, Obama included, are ideologues. Left wing ideologues, at that. Such people do not change their stripes, nor would Obama and company have called this kind of bill a victory unless there was something going on here that was not being seen by the casual observer.
Look at the numbers of angry, frothing at the mouth Democrats, screaming about the tax cuts being extended for anyone at all. I submit to you the Bush tax cuts would not have been dealt with at all, but would have been allowed to expire had this most recent election not occurred as such. So why do this now and claim victory over it?
The most obvious of what we’re not being reminded of, is the habit of Democrats, of getting out in front of the Lynch mob and pretending it’s a parade. The most recent example of this in history being Bill Clinton, as regards Welfare Reform. The pattern is there.
The other, perhaps less obvious point, given the lack of news coverage over it, is the amount of pork being attached to the bill. I submit the pork spending, is why Obama calls this a victory… since the Democrats only think government spending is “stimulus”.
The costs of having a Democrat run government, is a destroyed economy, and many destroyed lives as the jobs disappear under what Obama calls “Change”. What then can be said about compromise with the people that wrought this destruction?

PolitiFact’s Lie of the Year: ‘A government takeover of health care’
Retort fromPeter Suderman, Reason:
Politifact’s Lie of the Year Is An Exaggeration With Elements of Truth
On the other boot the idea that Obama Care would let you keep your coverage or doctor, reduce the deficit, or not cover abortion were flat out lies.
Faking the fight, John Avlon pretends to discuss divisiveness in contemporary politics and pretends to oppose it, from Daily Beast:
One of the core purposes of No Labels is to remind Americans that our domestic political opponents are not our sworn enemies. Neither President Bush nor President Obama ever deserves to be compared to tyrants or terrorists—and if you only object to the president of your party being compared to Hitler, you’re part of the problem. I hope that No Labels can help rekindle some of the spirit of national unity we found and then quickly squandered after 9/11 —because we can’t wait for a terrorist attack or natural disaster to remember that there is more that unites us than divides us as Americans
A honest discussion of divisiveness in our political scene has to include the demonizer in chief and indeed should start with him. Yet, Avlon chooses to ignore Barack Obama’s evil rhetoric. Obama hates what this country is and was, and desires to remake the nation into a socialist paradise, only Mao Tse Tung or Saul Allinksy would love.
If you don’t listen to Rush Limbaugh, and the vast majority of Americans do not, Rush does not send out his jack-booted thugs to face you to listen. On the other if you white and try to vote in Philadelphia, Obama thugs will threaten you. If as governor of Arizona, you try to uphold immigration laws, you will sued by Obama’s Department of Jusiice. If you refuse pay Obama’s health tax, the Internal Revenue Service will go after you.
Hooeygate, the splatter from Michael Moore’s potty mouth comments to Keith Olbermann continue:,from Mediaite
Update: Keith Olbermann has announced that he is suspending his Twitter account “until this frenzy is stopped.”
Update 2: This is serious. He has even taken down his profile picture.
On Tuesday’s Countdown, host Keith Olbermann and guest Michael Moore sparked widespread outrage over their dismissive treatment of rape allegations against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. While some of the segment is open to interpretation, Moore made a clear factual error when he said that Assange only stands accused of having his condom break during consensual sex.
It is amusing what damage these children do. Now back to the adults.

Turds of Wisdom, from Karl Rove, Wall Street Journal:
But a scorched-earth policy doesn’t make sense for the Obama White House. Independents voted Republican last month by a 59% to 38% margin not because they thought Mr. Obama too civil, his course too centrist, and his bipartisanship too energetic. In fact, they were sick of the administration’s direction and tone. The increased number of Republicans in Congress next year will stop Mr. Obama’s leftward policy march, whether he likes it or not. But only he can change his manner of speaking

OLBERMANN: Mm-hmm.
MOORE: That is not a crime in Britain, and so they’re making the point how can we—how can we extradite him over this? This is all a bunch of hooey as far as I’m concerned! And, and the man at least has a right to be out of prison while awaiting the hearing, and I believe that, that, uh—and this is why I participate in it; this is why I put put up a chunk of the bail money, and, um, you know, I’m proud, proud to do it because I think this man and what he’s doing, and what his group is doing, is going to save lives
To those one the left who have taken offense to Moore’s remarks, welcome aboard.
Going where I dared not thread, from Cathy Young, RCP:
Earlier generations of feminists argued that rape should be treated the same as any other violent crime: the victim should not be subjected to special standards of resistance or chastity. These days, the demand for special treatment is so blatant that some activists openly support abolishing the presumption of innocence for rape cases and requiring the accused to prove consent (a proposal Valenti cites with obviously approval). In an ironic twist, these activists actually seem to hold women in very little esteem: in their world, women are too timid to push a man away if he won’t take no for an answer and too addled to know that they have been raped.
Nanny staters sue Mickey D, Center for Science in the Public Interest sues McDonald’s to take the happy out of Happy Meal, from Walter Olson, New York Daily News:
With perfect Grinch timing, a consumer group has sued McDonald’s demanding that it take the toys out of its Happy Meals.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest, an advocacy group, claims it violates California law for the hamburger chain to make its meals too appealing to kids, thus launching them on a lifelong course to overeating and other health horrors. It’s representing an allegedly typical mother of two from Sacramento named Monet Parham.
CSPI is not a consumer group. A consumer group would advocate for more consumer choices. CSPI advocates less choices, to wit only the ones of which Ralph Nader approves. Also note, the CSPI also holds that adults are not responsible for their own behavior. Chairman Mao would approve.
Hawkins’ Top Forty, bewilderment at Vox Popoli:
John Hawkins of the Right Wing News has VP at #16 on his list of the 40 Best Conservative Blogs. Although perhaps this is a sign that conservatives are moving in a more libertarian direction after that whole experiment in Big Government Conservativism didn’t turn out so well.
The answer is simple, while Hawkins can certainly write, his blogging in large part consists of very creative ways to get attention. When was the last time he wrote anything worth reading? A list is only as good as the list’s criteria, which in this case largely does not exist.

Flock Fairness, from Jay Eisenhofer and Richard Schiffrinm, AOL News:
(Dec. 16) — With President Barack Obama facing an outpouring of criticism from his party base following the tax-and-spending deal cut with congressional Republicans, it is time for the base to face reality: The Democrats’ message on the economy is not working.
Voters are not misguided or confused or too angry and upset to think clearly. And if Democrats persist in telling themselves that this is the message of 2010, their long-term viability will suffer no matter what happens in 2012.
Instead, the electorate has shown that it will listen to a party that presents a vision for growth, greatness and fairness. An agenda that is limited to fairness is doomed to failure.
Nice words, growth, greatness and fairness, but one term is not like the others. While growth can be measurec and greatness observed, it is utterly impossible to define fair and utterly imposable to achieve enough fairness to satisfy a socialist, such as Obama. Dim Won would rather see no growth than to see growth whicg were to benefit anybody who did not contribute to his campaign.
No practical definition of the concept of fair exists. Therefore it is pointless to use fairness as an economic criteria.
Bitsblog’s double secret blogger, examines the perils of an undue obsession with fairness, from Fausta:
Whether Marx or Lennin had good intentions ever (which they didn’t), or whether Communist apologists “sincerely wish the best most prosperous future for everyone”, is besides the point: The moral blindness and lack of compass of anyone who can possibly defend the Communist system, knowing that Communism is directly responsible for the deaths of some 100 million people*, is indefensible as of itself
Remember that White Housea adviser Anita Dunn’s favorite philosopher was Chairman Mao. So whenever Dim Won, b/k/a Barack Obama talks about the need to limit growth to promote his private concept of fairness, take pause. Be afraid.
Remember, what can not be defined, can not be achieved.

Fox News, reports, George Soros whines, from Ben Dimiero, Media Spatters:
FOXLEAKS: Fox boss ordered staff to cast doubt on climate science
In the midst of global climate change talks last December, a top Fox News official sent an email questioning the “veracity of climate change data” and ordering the network’s journalists to “refrain from asserting that the planet has warmed (or cooled) in any given period without IMMEDIATELY pointing out that such theories are based upon data that critics have called into question.”
Apparently Sorss can not figure out, or accept, that Fox News refuses to take left wing talking points as if they were fact. Even Soros uses the new euphemism climate change, rather than global warming, because the weather alarmist can neither explain how the weather is changing nor predict future climate. Yet somehow skepticism is asserted be some kind of thought crime. Go figure.

Dumping on Dumbo Care, federal judge rules Obama Care individual mandate unconstitutional. Nice Deb does the rounds, here.
Breech slapping Breyer, Stephen Breyer believes the Second Amendment, or I suppose any portion of the Constitution, does not mean squat, from Fox News:
Breyer wrote the dissent and was joined by Justices John Paul Stevens, David H. Souter and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He said historians would side with him in the case because they have concluded that Founding Father James Madison was more worried that the Constitution may not be ratified than he was about granting individuals the right to bear arms.
Madison “was worried about opponents who would think Congress would call up state militias and nationalize them. ‘That can’t happen,’ said Madison,” said Breyer, adding that historians characterize Madison’s priority as, “I’ve got to get this document ratified.”
Therefore, Madison included the Second Amendment to appease the states, Breyer said.
Stephan Tawney shreds Breyer’s process, from American Pundit:
But there’s another point here: Who cares what Madison’s intent was? Who cares why the Second Amendment was added? Who cares what the motivation for its inclusion was? It’s there.
Is Breyer now saying that judges, including the Supreme Court, can ignore rights specifically guaranteed in the Constitution based upon the motivation for their inclusion? That judges can decide explicit rights don’t exist because they weren’t included in good faith? Wow.
We can only infer what James Madison intended. Whereas we can read the document which the several states ratified. In the world according to Breyer, Madison’s supposed thoughts trump the actual words of the Constitution itself.
Shredding Breyer’s history, from John, Verum Serum argus that Bryer has his history wrong as well, link:
Reading the entire thing carefully (and I recommend you click over and do that), you get a clear sense of what Madison’s argument was. People (the anti-Federalists) were indeed concerned about the rise of an all-powerful federal government. Madison argued that this could never happen because states full of armed citizens would resist such a move with force of arms. He specifically says that an armed citizenry alone might insufficient to defeat a tyrannical state, but an armed citizenry organized into militias would easily do so.
Finally, not withstanding Article V of the Bill of Rights, I hold that Stephen Breyer has no right to either life or liberty, because obviously Mr Stephens never intended to conceive a son as stupid as Stephen. What say you?

FLOTUS’ butt is a security risk, Michelle Obama, the Fat Lady of the United States, lard butt poses a threat to the security of the United States, or so she seems to believe, from Mike Allen, Politico:
First lady Michelle Obama plans to warn in remarks Monday that the nation is seeing “a groundswell of support” for curbing childhood obesity, and she is unveiling new ammunition from current and retired military leaders.
“Military leaders … tell us that when more than one in four young people are unqualified for military service because of their weight,” the first lady says in the prepared remarks, “childhood obesity isn’t just a public health threat, it’s not just an economic threat, it’s a national security threat as well.”
Mrs. Obama, either take off the weight, or zip your lip.
Men, Women, Different, throwing gasoline on the fire of the myth of sexual equality, from Mark Perry, American:
The College Board recently released 2010 SAT test results for college-bound high school seniors, and here are some highlights.
1. Boys scored significantly higher on the 2010 SAT math test than their female counterparts, by a difference of 34 points. This 30-point-plus male advantage on the SAT math test follows a pattern that has persisted since at least 1972.
2. For all SAT math scores of 580 and above (70th percentile and higher), male students outnumbered female students. As test scores increased by 10-point intervals from 580 to 800, the male-female ratio steadily increased, reaching a peak of 2.08 males per female for perfect scores of 800 (8,072 males vs. 3,887 females).
3. More females (827,197) than males (720,793) took the test in 2010. Adjusting for those differences in sample sizes, 1.12 percent of males scored a perfect 800 compared to 0.47 percent of females who did so, for an adjusted male-female ratio of 2.38 to 1.
Being better at math (reading) does no make men (women) better than women (men). It does mean that they are different. Then anybody with a room temperature intelligence, or better, already knew that.

The moral case for unions—protecting working families from exploitation—does not apply to public employment. Government employees today are among the most protected, well-paid employees in the country. Ironically, public-sector unions have become the exploiters, and working families once again need someone to stand up for them.

Dumbo forced to clean up his own mess, rather that hole in roof, Barack Obama seems to prefer mopping the floor, from USA Today:
President Obama is engaging in some post-WikiLeaks diplomacy.
In phone calls Saturday to the leaders of Turkey and Mexico, Obama deplored the WikiLeaks release of once-secret diplomatic cables — some of which contained criticism of those two nations, and others.
The Obami are under the third wave of Wikileaks assaults, and all Obama can do is grovel, and push the mop.
Kancun Klimate Kops create an enviromental mess, from Rick Moran, American Thinker:
The meeting’s carbon footprint was 25,000 metric tons of emissions, according to host nation Mexico. That includes the carbon output of everything – flights by delegates, shuttle rides from the swanky Moon Palace hotel, even food preparation. Here’s a breakdown of the numbers:
Anthropogenic global warming is a hoax. The proof is that nobody who seriously believed that AGW was real would willfully create twenty five thousand metric ton carbon footprint.

Dumbo proves PIAPS right, Barack Obama proves that even Mrs. Clinton can not be wrong all the time, from Jonah Goldberg, New York Post:
But even some of Obama’s biggest fans admitted that his devotion to the magical power of words stemmed from the fact that he had little else going for him. “Barack Obama could not run his campaign for the presidency based on political accomplishment or on the heroic service of his youth,” David Remnick wrote in the New Yorker after Obama won the general election. “His record was too slight. His Democratic and Republican opponents were right: he ran largely on language, on the expression of a country’s potential and the self-expression of a complicated man who could reflect and lead that country.”
Fast-forward to this week. Obama’s undisciplined diatribe against the “purists” in his own party who oppose compromise amounted to an abject admission that Hillary was right all along.
And Bubba does as well, from Dan Batz, Washington Post:
President Obama had invited former president Bill Clinton to the White House for a private talk, the details of which neither man chose to describe. But their public appearance will be long remembered. The sight and sound of Clinton going solo in the White House briefing room, as Obama slipped away to a holiday party, was certainly a head-turner on a slow Friday afternoon.
After brief remarks by Obama, Clinton slid behind the lectern as if he’d never left the building. For a time it looked like he might never leave, as he fielded questions from a White House press corps eager to keep him as long as it could. He stroked his chin. He folded his arms and looked pensive. He gesticulated expansively. He was part professor and full politician enjoying the spotlight
I realize that actually being president is mighty trivial job for man of Obama immense abilities, or at least so he would seem to believe.
Shocking news, Nixon disparages, women and children hit hardest, from the New York Slimes”
YORBA LINDA, Calif. — Richard M. Nixon made disparaging remarks about Jews, blacks, Italian-Americans and Irish-Americans in a series of extended conversations with top aides and his personal secretary, recorded in the Oval Office 16 months before he resigned as president.
This is news? Funny we know more about what Nixon said in the Oval Office than we do about what Barack Obama wrote while he was supposedly attending college.
Gentlemen, this is bonding:
